The Strokes, The Beatles and Catfish & the Bottlemen. That’s just at this moment in time. My top 3 could change every couple of days. Oasis are always there or there about

I'll go with my current favourites which admittedly can be changeable. I tend to get obsessive about a band for a while then move to another Fleetwood Mac James Richard Ashcroft Depends on my mood really. Last gig I went to was Slash a couple of weeks back

Gary Mackie

1. Oasis 2. AC/DC 3. DMA’s 1. Defined an era for so many with countless iconic anthems 2. IMHO the greatest band of all time 3. the best example of a Britpop throwback (even though they’re Aussy’s) who have some excellent tunes.

Samuel Hammond

The Specials, Talking Heads and Billy Bragg (got a feeling that’s gonna go down a little mixed 😂). Honourable mentions to The Jam, Pulp, UB40 (just the first album) and the Moody Blues. Really rate Yard Act right now too.

Right here goes - No 1 - joe strummer and the clash (but love his Mescaleros stuff too) - just unique voice that delivers total authenticity No 2 - Johnny rotten - a better and more expressive singer than anyone will give him credit for. Seumais Simpson

Hard to pin to just three as my taste spans across the spectrum and probably have favourites from a few different areas, but three who I always go back to are: New Order Arcade Fire Tiga (the Canadian producer, not the recent artist Tyga). Honourable mentions to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Sigur Ros, Andrew Weatherall, Erol Alkan.

David Tod

Lou Reed,Roxy Music,Warren Zevon.Noble mentions for the Who and Dr Feelgoods original line up and early Disco and Funk before Stigwood fucked it all up.

Kenny Park

Interesting and impossible question!!!! The Stone Roses were the ‘best’ band I like. In terms of collective musical talent. The Jam were my first and forever band, to this day -my youth, and went to see Weller in Madrid last September, sad but true! Oasis were my rediscovering my youth band 95-97 ish. Awesome what they did to me in terms of capturing a time I thought I’d never experience again!! Pretty narrow I suppose but surely deserves 3-5 minutes of your precious time discussing which of these go in which order. You’re welcome! lol WATP. Kenny. x

The Beatles. Oasis. Arctic Monkeys. They’re the big 3. But generally my tastes are much less obvious. Been getting heavily into the mid/late 80’s-early 90’s indie scene recently. All the C86 stuff, The Vaselines, Shop Assistants, the early Primal Scream stuff. The Popguns, Ride. If it’s for a jangly guitar it’s a winner for me. Basically I’m saying my music taste is superb and much better than yours. I’m an unapologetic snob when it comes to judging other people’s tastes too.

Willie Gracie

The Beatles - the greatest. How the fck can the same band produce so much great music over such a ridiculously short time? Their music and their influence is without equal Pearl Jam - The best thing to come out of America in the past 33 years. Still producing great music to this day and a fantastic advertisement for staying away from heroin. The Wonder Stuff - the best indie pop band of the 90s. If you don't agree your wrong.
