Hoggy will let you all into a wee secret.... after the Dundee game, he believed we were 4 points behind and not 3. He realised this on Sunday - and it sparked a little optimism. Misplaced? Perhaps. But optimism nonetheless.

After a bumpy Hamper last week (always the case after disappoints), Rangers provided a little relief with a relatively routine performance at Hampden against Hearts.

What next?

St Mirren away and the thoughts of "what if?". Over to you Rangers.

A slightly different morning from the normal routine of listening with my breakfast. Currently sitting on the train to change at Hannover en route to Braunschweig with HSV!

Is anyone else having audio issues with the hamper? It sounds very slow?

Mark Ronaldson

I do personally think we need to stop making out that Callum McGregor is this so called "mentality monster". Yes he has a good mentality at points when they are winning, but I have also seen him "shit the bed" in Old Firms and in games against the rest when the pressure is on. We need to put him and Celtic under pressure. Love the pod, keep it up!

Billy Forrester

Great show once again Hoggy, thank you. Keep believing 💪🏆

Shevy Kapoor

Love your positivity. Wish I had 25% of this!

Bob MacCallum

Hoggy, re your "dream" of Dessers' end of season, you're living in cloud cuckooland. Or make that LaLa Land!

Rona Bluebell

I’ve been seeing a few posts about audio quality across pods on here but I’ve had no issues. If it sounds slow you may have inadvertently slowed it by pressing the speed button. If listening on an iPhone, it’s the bottom left hand button on the screen, where you hit play.

Love the pod as always Hoggy. Particularly your take on the demise of the Broughty Ferry republican Hamas advocate . Agree about mounting the pressure on them, let’s get goals and results .🇬🇧

I’d be setting aside a chunk of the budget to get Millar from Motherwell. I’d also like to be see us going for Barren if it’s low cost as a Ryan Jack replacement and I’d take a look at the boy Watson at Killie with a view to signing him and loan him back to Killie for next year. I’ve been saying since the Killie/Celtic cup semi final 2/3 seasons ago (the last minute non penalty stonewaller Hampden game) that Danny Armstrong could be a modern day version of Neil McCann. I really like him. He’s very direct off both sides, he’s Scottish and wouldn’t cost the earth. He’s also a horrible wee bastard which is never a bad thing IMO.

We need a more reliable and fitter and taller version of Ridvan

John leitch

We need a change of style Use full backs more defensively and midfielders who are more attack minded

Gareth Williams

Don’t apologise for criticising Useless or the SNP Hoggy, they are no friends of Rangers and anyone voting for them who supports Rangers would do well to remember that!!

Scott Kerr

Enjoyed that this morning. Helped me through my work, cheers Hoggy 🤘💙

We should all have dreams Bob. I have a similar feeling about Dionande leading us to the title, displaying technical leadership , where it matters most. Scoring big goals .

Angus Mackay

Agree very much about Barton, Miller and Armstrong, Hoggy. Spot on. I find the hurry of some fans to “move on from” a 20 goal a season full back bewildering. ‘We won’t know what we’ve got until he’s gone’, they say, as they shove him out the door. It’s self defeating and barmy.

Bob MacCallum

At least your dream is based on a potentially great player whereas Hoggy's hopes seem to rest on a dud, one of the worst Gers strikers I've seen in 63 years of going to Ibrox. I hope both of you are correct though.

Spoon

Too stuff, enjoyed that one Hoggy👍🏻

Blair McGunnigle

Enjoyed that Hoggy. I’m now convinced the treble is incoming and the champions league is a formality for next year! One point, have we not learned our lesson, “if we win the league, Tav and Goldson stay, if we don’t they probably go” from 55 that’s the mistakes we made, we didn’t change things up nearly enough, went for play it again Sam and it didn’t work out. I think, I hope, regardless of the next 6 games, there is a reshuffle of senior players who have served us well.

Louch

Think you picked my question up wrong, I am on your side that a league lost still makes this a season most will forget when done, was just using that as way to say the rivalry is unrivalled when such a season is written off Re Dessers, if he is our main striker who’s scored twenty plus and we do win 3 trophies, it’s mad that many see this as his time to go. In market we shop in we aren’t finding better than his slightly imperfect, we just need more robust Options around him to share the load as he’s had a hateley 1994/95 workload this season

Doug

People seem to think Yilmaz has been more injured that he has been. He's been available for 76% of league games to date. He missed the first three games, then was available and played most games until the past four. He's played 28 Games in total in all comps (22 in the league) and is 10th in the squad for total minutes played. I think that's plenty to give him another season to try and cement his place alongside whomever comes in (Jefte?).
