The first point in the description is why I love the pods leading up to a window. Just started listening and already know I’ll enjoy it 😂. Hope the 2 linked are players I’ll need to google to make it even more enjoyable

John Smith

Resident A League expert here. I like Rodrigues a lot. If we get him I think he’d be our best since McCann

John Smith

Rapha is MacArthur’s best player Brett. Actually couldn’t believe when I saw the news this morning cause I think he’s EPL caliber honestly

Allan Osborne

A start would be signing players who can stay fit!

The standard of commentary on both BBC channels last night for the Rangers games was appalling. It’s clear, or as clear as anything can be in Gaelic, that everyone hates us, even the chookters. There’s a women commentator on the ladies games who is absolutely desperate for us to be beaten. I’m guessing that she may be of a Celtic persuasion.

Swothered back and forth about corrupt refs but youre right David they are completely shite. I still cant get over Beaton 2019 v hibs my god that was horrific. The most annoying thing amongst many for me is the complete lack of accountability from their side. How there can be no explanation or retribution for that disgraceful yellow card for Butland on Sunday is nothing short of infuriating and represents what feels like bias against us it feels inescapable at times

Scott Duncan

The manager, captain and coaching staff attending last night and going into the young bear's changing room was class and shows the standards that PC is bringing back. Well done the young team, coming back to win the trophy and a few good prospects there (including Aberdeen's captain).

In most leagues with a youth cup equivalent, whichever team wins it tends to produce graduates for the first team - if not fully established players then players who get a substantial chance. A recent example would be Garnacho and Mainoo from that youth cup side that won for Utd - now fixtures in the first XI. Or the talent Chelsea have produced which coincided with them dominating the youth cup! Forgive me for being a cynic and thinking the stars for our u18's won't get a sniff at first team level, imo players like Nsio and Gentles should be earmarked for first team football. Cole McKinnon won academy POTY (not to say it's undeserved) and played, what? Half hour of first team football this season? Pitiful. Sorry for rambling, the way we run our academy gets under my skin haha.

With Coventry mentioned as being in for that winger it takes me back to last year when we were heavily linked with Haji Wright. If that was a genuine interest then fair play to Beale as he looks the business any time I've seen him. He'd probably be missing an eye by now had he come up here mind you.

Graham Hendry

Marc Leonard - checked him out and it turns out we let him go years ago. Standard

Colin Mathie

There were no Scottish refs selected for the euros, that tells you everything you need to know.

Graeme Price

Do they not text Ryan Kent? "Here mate, ever get yer money?"

David Campbell

Your bang on about lunny David he's had one purple patch in his time with us. A siege midfielder at best.

Veronica McGarry

2nd May 1999 was the best day of my life. Winning the league at my 1st old firm game at Parkhead and it was also my birthday 😊 more of that please rangers

Graham johnston

The guy at Plymouth too was heavily linked. Whittiker I think. He's scored nearly 20 in the championship for a struggling team from right wing. They picked him up for a million. Was sure he was coming to us at one stage. He's worth 8 figures now

Graham johnston

How come they didn't count the Mayo hand ball in the Kilmarnock game. He literally punched the ball out with his hand. Surely VAR had a look at that so then that's also a major mistake

Gregg

Was Jason Cummings not tearing it up over there - seems a hot take

michael Cochrane

I proposed to my wife inside Ibrox this day after that game ! Who says Romance is dead 😂

Greg

Nuh they probably just look at the countless other players who go to turkey, get paid and enjoy life.

John Smith

Cummings is a great player 😀 Seriously though there’s a lot of undiscovered gems down under

Graham Jones

I suppose at the end of the day we’ll get what our budget stretches to. That can depend on what we bring in and save on wages, but I suspect the board would prefer to keep Lundstrum, because they will see that as a saving on a fee, but it mainly depends on who the manager wants and doesn’t, in conjunction with Nills Koppen, and we all know the big man wants Lundstrum to stay. I think people are reacting to a drop in n form by the team, but five weeks ago few wanted him to go, and I suspect if he scores the goal that wins us the league many will change again. I know he’s been a patchy player for us, but he’s has four managers in his time here. Our clubs been up and down since Gerrard left, and we need to create a settled environment. Borna has always been hot and cold. He’ll play to a decent standard for most of the seasons, but there’s always been that period every year where he shits the bed. My issue with Lundstrum is he’s not had a proper rest this season. I would rather we shipped Raskin and kept him if it comes down to budgets, but I appreciate you want more legs in midfield.

Had to immediately go and listen to that track!!!!

So glad to see the U18s win the Youth Cup. I am always glad to see any positive signs from the much criticized Academy. A well resourced youth academy is something which Rangers should have because it is the right thing to do, just like a charitable foundation, proper disabled facilities and a professional women’s team. Major sales like Alan Hutton and Nathan Patterson are rare but each sale covered several years of running costs. Compensation fees for the likes of Rory Wilson and Billy Gilmour, and modest fees for the likes of Lewis Mayo all add up. It is unlikely that we will see again a Barry Ferguson or Allan McGregor, a homegrown player who was a long term mainstay of the first team, but think how much money the club saved by bringing both players through.

Thanks for the update David. Looking forward to watching the RTV 'One Night in May' film. What a feeling that game was. Hopefully this team can give us something similar. Borna & Lundstrum. Thanks lads. Overall both have been very decent servants to the club and we're key contributors to our biggest successes in recent years. 55, Europa run & final, Scottish Cup (after 13yrs of failure! This achievement never gets the credit its due) and League Cup (again, after FAR too long).

Just watched One Night in May and up popped a younger version of me, not so grey as well! Great memories!!❤️🤍💙
