Would have definitely took that before it but it seemed worse than it probably was, especially the 1st half. I see Alex had the same idea ha ha

John Breen

We just continue to give the first half away and why is Tav still getting game time. Surely we must have a janitor or cleaner that could do a waterboy for us. Got to be better than Mr mistake

Latimer

Union Bears 👏👏👏

Bryan Watson

I think we'll win next week because absolutely no1 expects us to. This team are absolute underdog merchants and really struggle with the expectations of being favourites especially in these games.

Derek Robertson

Re Silva; If you give it out then you need to be able to take it back If anyone is upset with him for that then they need to grow a pair

Andy MacArthur

That was a hard watch, players look so weighed down by the pressure to win that we can’t get much flow or style in our performance. That lot seem a little too confident about next week. I really hope that works in our favour. Id start Ridvan in left back , put McAusland on the right hand side and shift sterling back to the middle. I have a gut feeling we will do something special next week

Steven Carmichael

Scoreline didnt reflect performance which I thought was creatively flat for long spells. Lawrence goal aside, we didnt move the ball quickly enough back to front, kept crossing high balls to a willing Killie backline. Dessers overplaying good opportunities, 40 goal attempts and our main striker doesn't score, Balogun injury shock. On the plus side subs made a difference for a change.

Al Robert

Maybe not upset, just sick of that mentality. One goal against ten man Killie does not undo weeks of dreadful performances. If he wants to do that after scoring a winner at parkhead next week go for it. An embarrassment doing that today in the context of the game/season.

Granters

Dessers was having one of those games he had against Ross County. Fortunately today others stepped up, but his profligacy in front of goal shows the need for a reliable second striker. Here’s hoping Danilo comes back sparking next season. These defensive brainfarts continue to be alarming. The defence needs rebuilt over the next couple of windows. I’d keep Ridvan and Soutar and replace the rest. Does this team have the chops to beat that lot away next week? I’m not confident but hope they prove me wrong.

Gregg

Couldn’t car less about this - we had someone calling the kid an imposter on here the other week. Can only imagine the vitriol on social media. If he wants to give a bit back then so be it.

Bob MacCallum

Can't believe you thought that was Silva's best game! Goal apart, everyone around me in SJ REAR were saying how is this guy worth millions? He can't even get past Killie defenders but he thinks he'll cope with guys in the EPL? As for Balogun, injured after 3 games, with 7 days between each - if we give him a new contract, the manager will deserve everything he'll be lumbered with next season. Great to see Yilmaz back, replacing cowardly, weak Barisic who should not start v Celtic, if disaster is to be avoided.

Spoon

Totally agree Alistair, if he thinks his 3 goal return merits shushing the fans. I do agree though that fans can’t give it out and not take it back however Silva has been a huge disappointment if he is half as good as he thinks he is he would be running riot but he seems more interested in looking for fouls regardless if he’s touched or not. A classic case of sort your game out before you start all the nonsense.

David Kiltie

Interesting point re Lundstram’s near miss. I had just turned the TV on after getting home from the Kirk when the shot went wide, yet the BBC Sport and Rangers FC apps both flashed up 3-1 on my phone - it looks like the Sky X feed was the source of the confusion. Seems rather a muted response to a 4-1 victory but when we went a goal down I saw the season petering out. We live to fight another day.

Bixby Snyder

I thought Diomande ran the show. His forward passing was much better than Cantwell. Maybe him at 10 and Lundstram and Sterling behind would be a solid midfield against that lot away.

Callum Dinnen

Cantwell cannot start next week.

Graham Ross

With all our injuries we have had this season and all the chopping and changing, the team weren't as bad that people were making out today.

Granters

They’ll try and get Cantwell red-carded next week. He’ll need to be wise to that

Granters

Lundstram has yet to turn up against that lot. I suspect he’ll start, but he gives me the fear. Agree on Diomande. I reckon they’ll try to kick him out the game early doors

David Kiltie

Apropos an unchanged lineup, credit to Strider for his correct prediction on the Preview. The previous time we fielded the same lineup as the previous game was the cup tie at Easter Road after the tie in Lisbon.

jason hart

Nonesense talk regarding silva .. the fans are intitled to voice there negativity towards him as he was sisgned as a high profile player to win us the league hes delivered nothing .. as DE said best way to shut up doubters is to perform Sterling is a player but not a right winger Silva and cantwell sorry but these aren't the creative sparks we need ... cantwell ok for the later part of St mirren game but posted missing against the likes of Dundee and Ross county and done nothing of note in previous games against the scum Good to see Lawerance recreating the highlight reel stuff we all watched from his derby days when we first signed him Hate hearing the depleted squad chat .. we are the biggest club in scotland and a budget to blow just about them all out the water and average rangers player should be far better than the best on offer in scotland

chris smith

I really dont understand this no penalty for the 3m VAR check. By the current rules it was a clear penalty. The ball hit his arm which was 90 degrees away from his body. We have had numerous softer pens against this season and that Ref has a history of giving us absolutely nothing

Thomas Blair

The ball is live when it is dropped and hits the ground

Andy mccrorie

Anyone else notice the scoreboard say Rangers 0-1 Celtic when killie scored ? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Douglas Wright

Drop balls are no longer contested under any circumstances so if the ref calls it their ball then we cant challenge until killie have established possession.

Angela Frater

OK, so I looked up the dropped ball rules. There is nothing about them ever having to be "non-contested" in the rules, as long as all other players (except the one player being "given possession back") from both teams are a minimum distance away. The ball is deemed to be in play from touching the ground. So if the ref didn't like where our player was in terms of the distance he should have moved them back before dropping the ball. Weak refereeing. If he drops the ball it's his fault for not having moved the players back? To do it once you could argue was possible an unsighted error by the ref, to do it twice is poor refereeing. I haven't seen the replay back to see if the players were far enough back (unlikely considering how quickly they got on it?). Different point though - again, if the drop ball was given simply because a Killie player ran into the ref (as opposed to the ball coming off the ref? Not sure which happened???) Then why was our goal at Dundee in the 5-0 game allowed to stand? Remember a Dundee player ran into the ref who essentially blocked the defending run, if the rule is to drop ball in these circumstances whwn a player runs into a ref then our goal shouldn't have stood that day either?

Gregg

Fans can voice their views for sure - some of the stuff on here recently about silva and goldson for example being called “charlatans” and “imposters” is shameful really. Can only imagine it’s way worse on the cesspit that is social media. If the young lad wants to give a bit back more power to him

Simon H&H

Can’t see Cantwell playing. Midfield has to be beefed up. If that’s a perceived negative and defensive midfield. So be it.
