I was watching the Thistle game as one of my sons supports them - so thanks for this. What I will say is that since the weekend my feelings have been like when you finally sign the divorce papers - it’s been painful and had to come to a head at some point. But, there’s a relief knowing that we can look forward to a fresh start - there’s some good memories - but when the bad times outweigh the good, it’s time for a much needed change of personnel.

Well done all the contributors through out the season. My go to show after every game along with RBR. Must be the Colin effect. Snet form my Ifone

Not listened yet, and just seen the goals on Sky Game of two halves Bad day when Wright scores twice, according to Sky his first goals for 2 years says why he is one that has to go We wanted a reaction and we got one from the "fringe" players. Happy to see Ridvan, Raskin, Cantwell, McAusland, all back in. That's 4 we keep hoping forward

Greg

Who will you select next season now borna is away?

JimGLW

Sadly Dundee had plenty of chances in the first half.

Hendi

Podders are easily won over, all laughing and joking, just like the players as soon as there's no pressure... Roll on the summer where we will be told again that every signing is a world beater....before we quickly find out that they're not. Repeat the process May '25.

Rona Bluebell

Excellent pod as always guys. Thanks for your coverage this year. Been tough at times but I’d go insane if you lot weren’t reliably here through the highs and lows.

Gregg

Strange comment - how long are we all supposed to be going about raging for? Surely there’s been plenty of the raging/ reflective pods post Saturday?

John Walker

Nice one lads, thanks for your efforts through the season. Over from Adelaide for the game with the lad and thankfully they gave us a victory. Hopefully Sterling back for final . Once again thanks for the pods.

Steve Clark

Thanks lads for this seasons car pod.i really do appreciate them.

Hendi

Each to their own, I'm still raging and no result or performance in a meaningless games is going to make up for their lack of effort and belief in recent weeks. Just find it strange how out of touch the tone of the pod is with the mood of the majority of fans, other than the Circa 8-10k happy clappers that stayed back last night.

Gregg

That’s fair enough mate - I move on fairly rapidly from disappointments to be honest but that’s just me. If the pods were still full of folks ranting about our problems I’d be cancelling my subs - I like the rangers info and a bit of a laugh with it. Don’t think weeks of perma rage would be good content (for me). Just my view though.

Enjoyed the car pod as always agree with the majority of comment. Genuinely hope for next season we get a sense of realism and perspective on some players both good and bad as some of comment, not specifically from the podders, is out of sync with our reality. Dessers continues to be slated for not converting every pass to him into a goal. Next year let’s hope people realise what you actually get for £3-£4 m in the current market. You don’t get 30+ goals and every chance taken. If we are keeping him I would very much prefer to see him in a front pairing, I disagree with those who claim he isn’t a Rangers number 9 and have enjoyed seeing the big guy flourish and get the goal return people claimed he never would. In similar vein, please for fans favourite whipping boy Wright. Not the best player in the league by a long shot but in our market you get what you spend tbh. That comes onto the main point. The squad rightly have had criticism, the manager has had a bit of flak but for me for a good decade or so the board are the real issue. Since SG won the league we haven’t invested although the board has pretended it has. It wouldn’t invest in SG enough to keep him happy and in equal measure it appeased his desire to keep players he shouldn’t have. It absolutely didn’t invest in Gio in any meaningful way, yes money was by Wilson but not on Gios targets or the right type of player…..Aaron Ramsay the classic example. With Beale is went spending mad on lots of pieces from different jigsaws. But the biggest failing was keeping people well beyond their sell by date and not going to get Shankland or another proper goal scorer. It will be interesting to see the approach this season. The budget per player, to profile, the turnover will all have a huge impact but I hope as fans we don’t jump to conclusions like we have recently. Two games doesn’t make you a superstar and a slow start doesn’t make you gash. If you bring in a free transfer they might need time to settle and develop. If you get caught up in a players past fees as an indicator of current value or effectiveness it doesn’t always correlate. The biggest thing is if we shop in Lidl there bargains and quality to be had but you need to perhaps temper expectations and be realistic about levels. I very much enjoyed the game yesterday, second half especially. There are positives in the squad, the manager is the right guy for me and some of our players have real potential if the team is bolstered and set up right. I fancy us to go and do it in the cup, even if we don’t it’s not a season defining game and the tone will be set next year by the business done both in and out. I can live with a developmental season as long as we show proper intent to develop and change the model. Quietly hopeful that we might actually see some real change this year in the whole football set up but it is on the board and their appetite, we can move chairs about and give the squad a glow up, what we really need is proper renovation and change.

A dead rubber but still an important result. At 2-0 down I was dreading the final whistle with the same scoreline and boos all round Ibrox as the filth were confirmed as champions. With Clement feeling the heat his ability to produce a massive turnaround is encouraging, as was the contribution of the young players. To win despite a very depleted lineup is pleasing - the back line we finished with was just wild! At least it delayed the inevitable and gives some encouragement for the cup final.

Totally agree with you. As usual the players play like there is something to play for when it's all lost. Nothing changes with those losers. Wait until the pod comes out when they crumble in the cup final, nothing surer. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Far too many fooled about 10 times and still alright with it.

Colin

I'm pretty sure I even mentioned on the pod that I'm still angry and disappointed about the league / weekends game but id just seen 5 goals, watching the game with my mate then sat with 2 of my other good mates after. I won’t apologise for trying to find the odd positives and enjoying chatting to my 2 mates. Doesn’t mean I’m won over or anything like that but the car pod after a game isn’t the time to listen to misery about a previous match.

Hendi

Fair enough, my concern is that our support have allowed themselves to be continually distracted from a multitude of failues and nobody is held to account as a result. Whether it be beating Real Madrid in a friendly, signing Ramsay or winning meaningless old firm games in May, we are far too quick to forgive and look to the future. Failure to learn from the past means you'll repeat it.

Heart and Hand

What does that entail though? There has been a lot of looking at the reasons for failure on here and other places. What is it you’re after in terms of concrete action? And the idea that a group of guys, after a day at their work going to a game and meeting up with pals, aren’t supposed to enjoy it, should be in sackcloth and ashes, not allowed to joke is alien to me. The logical extension of that is no fun allowed till we win the league. That seems a bit harsh. I bumped into a lot of people at the game, plenty of gallows humour. Didn’t mean they weren’t upset at losing the league. Just meant they were human.

Hendi

Fair enough, I'm no actually that bothered that I'm wanting to keep arguing about it 3 days later 😁 I was pissed off at the team and the tone of the pod was at odds with my mood so that bore the brunt of my frustration. You cant please everyone all the time... I just dont want us all thinking all is rosey again because they suddenly started playing how they should have been playing.

Heart and Hand

Ha that’s fair 😀 Aye, I don’t think anyone is convinced yet. Need to see 1) summer changes and 2) how it looks after it.
