Rangers 5-2 Dundee Postmatch Reaction 14 May 2024

Todd Cantwell was afforded no protection at all tonight. He was consistently being fouled and I don't think any Dundee players were booked.

A Curate’s egg of a performance (good in parts)

Bizarre is definitely the right word David but it's what we have come to expect. We need a new spine to this team badly with the exception of Butland. I've been one of Tavs fans over the years but I'm getting more pissed off with his bad stuff atm coz it outweighs the good. If he can't do a job if he got moved up the park then I think we should cut ties because he costs us far too much in defence. But he will probably score a screamer in the final to bring me back onside as usual.

It was ridiculous what that ref let their players away with. One of them had 5 or 6 fouls with a couple coming right through the back of him and also jumped about going mental anytime the foul was given against him but only got a talking to once. We have to be very good to outweigh the shit we have to put up with in this league. Every cnt wants us beat and that includes the sfa and most refs, nobody can convince me otherwise.

Tbf I thought we were pretty good for most of that game apart from that 5 to 10 min spell when we did the usual and gave a team a start. It's went from a goal start to 2 lately.

It’s not over until it’s over…

Hopefully that is the end of these strange bad habits and Ibrox becomes a fortress again in August. Glad the home games are done as this season has been exhausting

If Cantwell ment that it's pin point perfect, which I pretty much doubt from that angle Not seen the game or goals, apart from Cantwells, but I was happy with that line up in midfield far more legs,

Just on Sky Sports Wright's first goal in 2 years, according to the commentary Shows exactly why he shouldn't be at Rangers

Hamish Rankin

I’m not really sure I agree on McCausland, definitely looked up for it but the quality and output was poor (apart from his goal obviously). Also should have done better to prevent the crosses for both Dundee goals. The lad is decent I’m just not sure he’s good enough for Rangers

Makes you wonder why we had sterling and BB st LB when Fraser looks like he could have done a job

Conor Brown

Because he's 'young', and heaven forbid giving s youngster a run in the team.

Gregg

He’s got things he needs to work on - there’s an upside there if he does. All on him now
