You just know it's going to be vandalized whatever the result on Saturday sadly really hope not tho

Charlie Nicolson

Worth noting that Nicola Docherty also extended her contract

Tamus

Is Shane Deid?

Campbell

Didnt a club challenge the home grown rule recently? Antwerp rings a bell.

Scott Corral

Got to agree David on your opinion with regards Tav and Goldson. Time for younger hungrier additions to the team.

Martin Boyd

Re Tav and Goldson, 6 months ago I would have upset if Tav was to go this summer, now I think it’s getting near time. Goldson 6 months ago I was thinking he should be moved on, now for certain it’s time. Big summer , again, for the club we do this way too often.

Jim McCutcheon

Fitting tribute for Walter ❤️🤍💙, thanks David

Steve Clark

The women’s season isn’t over they play in the Scottish cup final on Sunday v hearts

Rose Mcloughlin

Walter will become our guiding light as we go by him going into the stadium....so well deserved.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. I hope that YOU are well and having a good day. You say this everyday to all of us, thank you, and just thought I'd say the same in return. Winners on the deal all round if Stevie G secured deals for the services of Tav & Goldson. A less ignominious exit for club captain & vice captain, won't be financially shackled to weigh up staying either. Everyone can save face and we can send them off with thanks & best wishes. There's no need for animosity (as things stand now!) it's simply time, probably past time, they moved on. We as a club AND support have a terrible track record at not wanting to let players go. Happens far too many times. Spoils their legacy and our memories of them are tainted. An ex-player said recently on Sky 'Better to leave football before the football leaves you.' And exactly the same can be said for players at a club.

Ryan Jack missing most of the season for Rangers with injury but being available when Steve Clarke calls? Colour me shocked!

DRKMN

Ref the Europa League final. I'm sure I read somewhere that if Leverkusen win it, Rangers have a good chance of being seeded in CL qualifiers. Has anyone else heard this?

DRKMN

Found the article. If Leverkusen win it promotes Benfica to CL and we would be seeded if we make the playoff round. 👍

David Innes

To be to fair he’s missed most of the Scotland squads this season through injury - fully expect him not to make the final cut

John Breen

For once we need Tav to be pushed up on the right and Sterling playing his proper position. Tav can’t defend but he’s always a threat going forward. Lets give him a break and hopefully it’s his last game

Colin Mathie

Those Scotland forwards don't inspire much confidence lbh.

Graham Jones

The criticism is fine but it’s developed into abuse too many times this season in particular. It’s good to see two possible signings so early, but we’ll need to move as quickly as possible. They wont all come in before we start pre season, and the support needed to be prepared for that. We’re competing in the hardest market to shop in, because we’re not in the top level, and not in the bottom level either. We’re in that middle ground where you’re looking for outliers in leagues around Europe. So are most of the clubs in Europe, and that’s the difficulty. That doesn’t mean we can’t recruit well and build a good squad, but it’s not as easy as people think. You’re bang on regarding the youth academy. Every time a kid leaves here for England I just wonder whey we bother. Unless UEFA do something the game will continue to perish. English clubs will only look at the main clubs for talent, and if we stop developing talent then the game will fall away, because there’s no way the SFA can or will pay to take up the slack. UEFA are terrified of the big clubs front the big five leagues, so I don’t know where the game is heading for. Rangers have always had problems developing young players who go on to make it. The nature of the club makes it really tough to break through, so Clement has a hard job on his hands. He not only has to change the culture in the youth academy, he has to work with the support and ask them to show more patience at times. We are brutal with young players in the first team, and it’s held us back at times. I thought Gerrard was good at that side of things, as he would say to the support they had to be patient when a young player broke through. I can’t remember any manager doing that before.
