Lemmy was actually told he couldn't cut drink and speed out completely as he'd been on it for so long his body would shut down. He gradually cut back in the last 10/15 years of his life but that's how hard he was living it for years - doctors actually told him he had to keep having a drink or two and some speed on the daily.

As good as Butland is he also has a history of missing games through injury. Kelly will know he's second choice but second choice at Rangers is probably better than first choice at Motherwell. Alexander joined us from Ipswich as a number 2 and played in a Uefa cup final and won lots of trophies when Mcgregor was injured. Its a risk for the lad but any move is a risk.

Barron is a smart signing. I know we are finally implementing the player trading model properly but due to the restrictive and IMO unfair home grown rules, the Scottish players we have just need to be able squad players or better and we should be looking to keep them rather than sell them on until that ridiculous rule is scrapped.
