John Smith

Shouldn’t even be a question that we’re going after Lennon Miller

Mark Rennie

Lennon Miller woukd be an excellent signing

David Kerr

You jumped in the Delorean today!?

Gregg

Would be interesting to know why we didn’t spot miller when we scouted Bailey Rice

Andy

Thought I'd hit play on an old episode of the CROpod there for a second

Colin Walker

Lennon Miller is good enough to start for us right away. We need to get away from being put off by players ages & experience. If we don’t make the move someone else will.

Graham Roy

The silence from the board is shocking now. We understand there are a few extremely important issues that they are dealing with however the chairman should be speaking to fans! When the daily record is releasing more details to us than the club you know it’s an issue!

Donna MacK

Totally agree, Graham. Also feel for the stewards at Ibrox - hope these lads aren’t out of a wage whilst stadium closed for games.

Chris McFadyen

I dont want to go all spoilt brat, but i've still my 4th Season ticket payment to make... and no doubt cancelling the payment would have more impact on my credit file than the club But the contempt us paying customers are getting is a joke On here is a safe haven for having a rant, i dont want to do it on social media to give that long more ammunition - but the club have to be open and honest, even if we get news we dont wanna hear

Ranger1972

Anyone enlighten me on the McRorie deal? He’s went Killie for next to nothing, highly incentivised are the rumours but he’s signed a 2 year deal? Where unless he moves next summer he’ll go for free the following year. Seems utterly bizarre.

Graeme McLeod

Rangers should absolutely not leave Ibrox. Club has lost enough of the identity over the years without that.

Keith Kettlewell

Absolute no brainer if we get Lennon miller.

stefan strzelecki

Agree, with the point being made about stadium upgrades. In an ideal world , the inconvenience to the fans this year, could be offset by stadium expansion budgets being brought forward . If the support , are being giving the runaround , to enhance an extra 10,000 seats , i think even the most frustrated fan , would understand . Does anyone else think , the club should consider obtaining loans, to get make the best , out of a bad situation. I wouldn’t imagine the planning considerations , to be prohibitive . I don’t think we need anything other , than more seats, and an investment in transport infrastructure, by political leaders .

Gregg

This would take an age to go through - it’s not something that can be done quickly unfortunately. Sourcing the funding alone, far less consents would see you towards the end of the year

Keith Kettlewell

I’d be the last person he’d tell 😂 don’t know the boy personally but apparently a dream to work with and all the ability in the world. Exactly the kind of signing we’ve been slow in making for too long (Barron aside)

Scott Kerr

The board needs to sort out the stadium situation asap!! Plus Lennon Miller would be a fantastic signing for us...if we use him properly and not waste him like we have done with our own young players!!

Glen Kane

The only thing wrong with Miller is his first name and the fact Motherwell will probably demand around £3m.

Spoon

Miller is an example of how other teams properly develop and play youth players. Good enough to play 30+ times in a season, performed well and bags of potential. Our issue is that we would expect to buy him and bench him as to many in our support he isn’t a name, isn’t established and would warm the bench. Any young player worth his salt knows the games he gets at the right level at this age are worth their weight in gold. Coming to Ibrox the only incentive is that he would continue to develop and play, if we stunt his development he would be better staying put and hoping for a route out of Scotland like Ferguson etc who showed that age is no barrier to a good footballer. I personally would rather stop pretending this is the first tranche of low level signings and the big names will arrive later. My take is all these upcoming talents are being courted to play first team now or in the very very near future. Rightly so. The odd McLean or Shankland among this crop of new blood and I could buy into next season, be bold, do something different and for god sake let’s bin the mantra that these guys are kids, no other league does that and it holds us back. Positive signing if he comes in and gets games.

stefan strzelecki

You may well be correct in timelines . I thought preparatory work had already been carried out by the club , about stadium expansion , procurement of material , and selecting a top quality construction design company , should not be above the means of the board. The financial outlay , whilst a challenge , shouldn’t be insurmountable, when considering the net financial returns a lender would be guaranteed from such an investment . The newly elected Uk Government have positioned economic growth as a priority , planning departments are being overhauled by the exchequer to help stimulate productivity . Whilst I fully appreciate the distinction between the devolved Scotland , and even Glasgow council , having historical autonomy over planning . The political earthquake that has shook the snp , has the FM proclaiming to be collaborative in the approaches being undertaken between the big boys Parliament in Westminster . Perhaps the NIMBY culture , so readily embraced against most proposals from the club to the council, could be tested , by engaging both the newly elected Labour MP , and ward elected representatives to advance planning consent . The political and economic environment is fertile for business and constituents today. I’m a tad more optimistic on that front , with regard to that side of things. Perhaps Big Andy needs to do a pod on the feasibility of obtaining a medium term investment loan, based on the probable financial returns .

Keith Kettlewell

I’m probably over simplifying but sell Hagi use the money for miller and save a good few quid on wages

Tamus

SACK THE BORED

Ricky

Ibrox is not an eyesore.

Ian McDonald

No way should it be considered moving from Ibrox

Paul McCabe

2004? I feel young again

Mark

A new stadium because the car park is looking tired? 🤷‍♂️

stephen

You are absolutely right Chris, contempt is the perfect word for how we are viewed. It's not acceptable.

Billy Brotherston

Canny believe we’ve got fans who would rather knock Ibrox down than resurface the car park! Did you read that out for a laugh?

Gregg

I don’t think funding would be easy - after the bad publicity and negative press the bank got after 2012 then mainstream banks are weary to say the least in funding football clubs up here. You’d be looking outside that - not impossible by any means but you’d need a proper business plan. Not something that can be done quickly. I think the political will is gonna take time to come through, lots of plans but they are only in the door.

Keith Kettlewell

I couldn’t disagree with a single word of that. Look at the money we wasted last summer and there’s lads 17-21 years old ripping it up in the league we play in with 50-100 games under their belt. Hopefully there are signs of a shift in strategy 🤞🏻

Tommy

Lennon Miller seems a player, however let’s be honest. We’ll fuck the lads career up. Let’s hope we approach it differently, let him stay on loan at Motherwell and allow him to keep playing matches. Having him disappear with us and wrecking his career like we’ve done with Leon King isn’t sensible squad management Hopefully we’re getting smarter on this front. Not holding my breath

Tommy

The only way we could fund significant stadium development would be if we are securing English level income from TV and sponsorship. We don’t. It’ll take decades to pay for a stadium and would handicap the club for a generation. Unfortunately I don’t see how the numbers work to be able to do what we’d like to do

Graham Jones

The issue isn’t whether a new stadium would be preferable, it’s the cost of such a project, and the implications it would have huge consequences on the club for a decade or more financially. The first question is “Where do you find the money to rebuild Ibrox?” The surrounding footprint is not good at the moment, but there are complications to overcome before they can address them as a whole. That’s a planning issue that requires a business plan to pay for it. My concern about the construction. Issues are that they have next summer to navigate as well. I just hope they’ve learned some valuable lessons this year. Lennon Miller is a good player, but Motherwell will try to0 turn our interest into a bidding war. I was really looking for two or three good experienced players to come in, but we aren’t even sure if there’s much of a budget for that, or if it needs to be generated by sales. But that’s been the issue all summer, because we simply don’t know if things are moving int he right direction or not. That market still feels pretty flat.

Graham johnston

Ibrox is more than a football stadium to us. Leaving is never an option. People have died at that groud and we owed in their memory to maintain it. Also Ibrox is absolutely not an eye sore. I've brought a few non Scottish football fans up to Ibrox and they're amazed by its historical beauty. I'm Jude Bellinghams words "what a gaff"

Gregg

We’re not in a position to be spending 2 or 3 million on a player to leave him on loan. Won’t happen and can’t happen

Tommy

Similarly, we’re not in a position to spend £2m on a prospect and give him 2 starts and 3 sub appearances over a season and wonder why he’s not developing in line with expectations.

Gregg

💯 either sign him and play him or don’t sign him. The loan option is a non starter for me
