Nice tunes today mate

Mr J K Murray

being paid, assuming, for 38 games in SPL a season & other games may have pay relativity,if lammers wage is in value dispute due to cost, who is paying him for being away from Rangers, are we contributing to the cost, do we just continue to do xrays to find out what is going wrong or just keep watching der twilight zone, hic, how much was the portugal flop' on, makes sense to develop home grown players but does not seem to become actual, need a professor of long term overhaul not just this seasonal reset' that time restriction enforces, can plan but does it ever work that way today, yors, Ollie : Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into,

Russ

Probably worth bearing in mind that 29 in todays game is not the 29 lads saw in the 90's or 00's. If the due diligence is done in terms of data, character references etc then I'd be okay with it - you'd still be hoping to get 3 years out of him in what is, let's be honest, a really poor league outside the OF. The price is a wee bit steep and the Shankland argument is understandable but we want good experience, that's what it costs.

Scott Tolmie

Traore against a back 9, nope not for me, needs to play against teams who attack so there’s space to run into

Russ

Biggest myth amongst our support is players with pace struggling for the OF. Sima and Sakala were both rapid and rinsed back 9's for fun - whether you were a fan of them or not.

Scott Tolmie

I must admit I don’t recall sima doing to much against back 9s in Scotland because he was injured and alot of his goals were headers or crosses, dont think we have had a player rinse anyone for a long time

Colin

Classic tune👍👍👍

Russ

Rinsed probably not the right word aye, but they'd score often enough against them for it not to be a problem. It's players like Scott Wright that makes people think it never works - the lads just a bad footballer with little game intelligence.

Damien Stubbs

What a f*cking tune Cammy 👏🏻👌🏼

Scott Tolmie

I’m a big sima fan but he has more to his game than traore, I wouldn’t go near traore for a few reason, can’t make money on him, age and he’s not very good, I’d rather sign someone at 22,23 and turn a profit, someone with hunger and I def don’t see traore hungry to be in Glasgow, just a wage to him

Gregg

Traore was a bit of a one trick pony, not for me. Pace aye but it needs to be allied to something

Russ

Oh i think you are thinking of the Wolves player? It's a different Traore we're after, but I agree. Essentially what I'm getting at is if there's a choice of 2 players who are identical in every way but one is athletic and quick and the other isn't then 9/10 you choose the one who's got the physical attributes. God knows we've recruited enough who can't get about the pitch.

I didn't get a chance to post on Wednesday's Daily Update regarding David reaching the 15 year milestone. Congratulations. Great news.

Stephen

Won’t be getting rid of Lammers, Dessers until the last day of the window on loan deals I would imagine. They are quite right to want to keep their high wage so early into their contracts. Maybe think about less wages and actually enjoying playing at a lower level toward the end of their deals instead.

Scott Tolmie

Oh thank god for that, still not sure I’d pay that for someone with no re sale value.

Gregg

Haha aye - didn’t listen to the update as wasn’t luring me in topic wise 😀

Mark Harvey

I've never felt so downbeat heading into a new season. Nothing a win over Man United on Saturday won't fix of course.

Russ

Wolves' Adama Traore was a complete myth of a player aye. Bloke was built like a 60 yard sprinter and played like one - problem is clubs get duped by his athleticism and think it can work for them when it never does.

David Innes

Very few people in any walk of life will voluntarily take a massive pay cut. The fault is entirely ours for signing him in the first place.

CRAIG CASSELLS

Granted Sakala's pace and undoubted unpredictability troubled Celtic on more than a few occasions.. However genuinely struggling to think of when Sima rinsed Celtic's defence. Liutle more than passable at Ibrox in two games despite his massively deflected goal whilst at Scumdome his dreadful headed clearance fell directly to Celtic player to rifle home. Cup final was decent, might have made more of an impact if fully fit.

Robbie McCarroll

Traore + Igamane we are getting close to Miovski for similar outlay…

Rose Mcloughlin

So happy for David...and so pleased he has such a strong support...we get a real nice feeling that all the hard workers in heart and hand work close together a real family feel that we are privileged to share in...thank you.
