Spot on Alex, I thought macausland gave the kiev lb a hard time, the lb kept putting the ball out of play everytime Ross pressed him, very unlucky with the shot as well.

Top pod gents. Won’t labour the Dessers stuff as I bore people on here enough with my support for him. Thought your comment was spot on Alex, agree with Stevie in terms of appreciating the guy a bit more and all I can say for Kevs take is, I get we all have players we just don’t rate the way others do, it’s the nature of football. I think the big man is asked to do a hell of a lot in a team that’s lost its way in sustained chance creation in matches, struggles with continuity of selection and is short on quality. I would love to see him paired up with someone or at least get more bodies around him. Great listen 👍🏻

Balogun getting the blame and singled out for that goal out of that backline? Yilmaz and Souttar were absolutely rotten.

“Shoulders like Ultimate Warrior” 😂😂

“You can’t build a team around a player with no medals and less than 100 games..” Barry Ferguson..? Also, the contrarian view for the sake of being contrarian is brutal again, Balogun at fault leaving Souttar 2-1? Dessers having a good game? Mental.

Steven Harrigan

Barry Ferguson was a generational talent and the finest Scottish midfielder in my lifetime, yet still look who he had around him to guide him (Ian Ferguson, McCall, Durrant, McInnes, Albertz) right through from first featuring under Walter then when Advocaat came in.

Thomas Blair

Agree Ridvan had a poor game. We are currently seeing the result of both full backs not having a full pre season.

Paul

Excellent show. However, I have to disagree with Steven. Barron is turning 22 soon, so it's not entirely fair to compare him to Miller. In Scotland, we seem to view players as "young" and in need of careful management up until the age of 24, we need to get away from this.

James McSween

Totally agree with Kev’s points on Dessers and strikers. Signings like Igamane should only be acceptable when we are winning leagues consistently. Would much rather a run of the mill SPFL striker to be 3rd choice until then.

Angus Mackay

Mr Harrigan has started the season on fire. 🔥 Superb once again. Thanks lads.

James McNeill

Great pod as usual lads. Totally agree with Dessers being the number 2 striker, we can’t go through this season with him as number 1. Decent numbers and nice guy and wouldn’t be chasing him out the door but we need better. Really concerned with Dianondes early form, I thought we could build around him but he’s been miles off it

Making Strides

I've never once been contrarion for the sake of it. If I'm saying it, I have reasons well beyond that.

He was mate and without us actually playing him to see that and allow it to develop he wouldn’t have become the player he did. With what you said before, 100 games and medals, you can’t ever find a generational talent.

That UFO Podcast

Mate, quite entitled to your opinion, I’m reliably informed you don’t say stuff for the sake of it either, doesn’t mean I don’t think, as others have in the past your opinion can swing wildly from what most can clearly see is up, see THAT old firm post match. But, I appreciate more than most what it’s like putting yourself out on a pod
