Still searching for consistency and some for form. Need to be more lethal up front to accommodate our generous defence

Michael Scott

Agree need more signings added another centre back and striker would be great happy with the 3 points and the first half performance

William George Bell

Your correct David one long ball and we’re at sixes and sevens. The manager must have seen this before it is worrying it hasn’t been corrected.

Neil Buchanan

Fun in the sun ☀️ , meeting your mates and the novelty factor made the first half fun if you ignore conceding a daft OG. 2 nd half was meh, meh and more meh.

John Jamieson

I have never seen my dad overreact to anything other than big goals but watch Scott wright today made him flip. I get it’s not his fault he is starting but why is he still starting games

Latimer

Tavernier and Souttar on same side of defence is asking for trouble

Graham Jones

The side are slowly coming together, but there are things to work on. We do need to watch out for those long balls over the top. It’s very old school, but they sometimes catch teams out because it’s so unexpected these days and we seem to get caught with them a bit too often. Still, a decent performance for our second league game and our maiden appearance at our temporary home. I’ll take that. Roll on Tuesday where things move up several notches. I think it’s clear that today’s line-up and substitutions are about managing the squad still. He’s trying to ensure that players are getting game time, and that others are not being over used.

David Campbell

Team looked dead on there feet final 20mins barron does look a steal controlled the game

Graham Morrison

Defo game of 2 halves, cam finally see a system (1st half) same old stuff 2nd.3 points most important, Barron M.O.M by a mile.👏🇬🇧⚽️

Paul fitzpatrick

Don’t have enough goal scorers in the team to play without an offensive #10, Lawrence not the long term answer but more of a goal threat than Dio. Sterling is a right back we need an experienced #6, although Barron has been our best player so far.

Daniel Ward

A hard watch second half but for our season to stand any chance of success the minimum business we should be doing is an upgrade on matondo/wright/mccausland (shouldn’t be hard, hopefully sima) we need an upgrade on Lawrence and an upgrade on souttar/davies/balogun.

Brian Stewart

Surely going forward Barron and Sterling have to be playing in front of that defence, Dio as a 10 has to happen, Lawrence doesn’t get involved enough because he doesn’t have the legs to, Dio will run all day..

Robert White

Barron is exactly what we need. Young scottish committed. Please, let's buy the best young Scots. Mon the Gers

David Blackbourn

Lack of quality in the squad really showed in the 2nd half today

chris smith

We desperately need upgrades on Soutar, Lawerence, Wright and Dessers … desperately

Don’t see what Wright did wrong today, you can absolutely say we need better quality overall but can’t remember him doing much wrong and unlucky not to score. Seen him have shockers, today wasn’t one of those in my view and no worse than the rest after our initial flurry.

Jamie

Is there loan to buy options wth cerny or just a straight loan

Gary Shaw

Got to agree with you regarding Wright…he’s never going to be good enough but he’s nowhere near the worst and never has been….there’s higher earners who are as bad if not worse and get nowhere near the same level of abuse as Wright…..It’s very strange the level of anger aimed at him….At the very least he’ll run at guys which is more you can say for Lawrence,Diomande,Cortez etc

Kev Roberts

A wins a win that about sums it up. Good weekend bears x

Baz

Cerny has a fantastic left foot will be an excellent weapon throughout the season, Young Barron looks like he’s been at Rangers for years has been one of the huge positives this season so far. Thought Tav could have ran a bit quicker to try and stop the cross when we conceded. Wight gives plenty of energy unfortunately his quality doesn’t match up the same. 3 points however and on till Tuesday night. 😎

If we can do a deal for Lennon Miller this window we need to make it happen - could be a big missed opportunity if we don’t

Agree Gary. Not suggesting we don’t need better and I get his limitations but the useless or bomb scare label narrative seems to be set with some guys and from then on anything good they do is ignored and a single mistake is used to justify the pile on they get. Some won’t be happy until guys like Wright or Souttar and hounded out the club, nobody is pretending they are world beaters but they are far from as bad as made out and with the manager is an idiot for playing them or he feels he did getting from them what he isn’t from the other options in their positions. It seems one mistake a game if your face doesn’t fit is enough to write you off, don’t get it myself as none of our players tend to turn in a perfect 90, it’s just where we are in the quality department with our squad, most have flaws.

Craig Murray

Watch the ball played by Cerny for the Scott wright chance when he rounded the keeper , delicious as was his superb finish, we desperately need a couple of midfielders to give Barron and dio a break or they will burn out the way they play the game.

Would be ok as a back up striker but he isn’t good enough for our number 9 and for the wages he is on we can spend that better.
