If it comes through that’s a great deal for Cifuentes. As you have said David, a good player in warmer climates (and the price reflects this). Just didn’t happen.

Russ

Shame about Balogun. Idk if it was because of the injury but I thought he had a horror sub appearance at the weekend. Could barely make a pass to a teammate.

Allymac1980

Cheers David, good listen as always!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Craig Mitchell

"We've wanged on here". I genuinely heard that from the other room and had to rewind - thought it was "we've Wang Don here" i.e. Glasgow. I thought we had a Korean in to sign. 🤦‍♂️

Latimer

I think Alex Gogic could do a job for us. Only 30 and a leader.

If he couldn't handle the climate then why the hell sign for us, he clearly didn't do his research beforehand.

Fraser Martin

But Davie.... Beale looked into Cifu's eyes.

Most young footballers don’t. They tend to just go with what their agent says. Also, remember a lot if young kids from South America don’t always have a lot of formal education behind them.

Mark Boyd

We are all a bit panicky at the moment David but bottom line is started season win and draw and still in a tough champions league tie. If we can get through, somehow, the next few weeks unscathed the manager will have done some job. Just hoping when Hagi and cantwell go we see sima back 🤞🏽

Plus it's one thing thinking you can hack a change in culture, but it's another when you actually try it. Add to that the manager who signed him was a massive goof and gone within months; things like managerial changes make a difference.

Lee Branki

Hi David, do you think if we get through tomorrow we may see some movement between now and the first leg of the play off, around £4.3 million to be won tomorrow, do you think that could be ring fenced for further incomings?

John Smith

Need to try and get Elon to invest

Paul

A 36-year-old injury-prone defender injured yet again. Who could have seen this coming?

Paul

Haha those days are over mate. You can only spend what you bring in. Which is why Newcastle can't spend billions. So even if the richest guy in the world came in we would still be limited to what we could do. He could upgrade the infrastructure though etc decent toilets at Ibrox haha

As someone who lived in the snowiest city in Canada, I can tell you that research only prepares you so far...

John Smith
>>146339069

I think he would do it. Our stadium would definitely get upgraded. Also think he’d actually appoint competent people to run the club. Plus can you imagine the seethe

Robbie McCarroll

Big ask tomorrow but I think we will do it there is marginal improvement each week. we look more a Europa league team but tomorrow isn’t a game beyond us 🤞

Paul
>>146339069

Haha he was always linked with Man Utd and said he would never buy a football club. But yeah the stadium could be upgraded and we could make more that way. I agree, the meltdown would be funny!

John Smith
>>146339069

Couldn’t hurt to get a wee #️⃣ going on X. He just might take notice

Stephen
>>146319328

I would imagine that just part of the problem. Sure he wouldn’t have been so bothered about the climate if he had a chance to go to one of the Manchester clubs!

Graeme McLeod
>>146319328

He probably wouldn't have been unsettled if he was regularly playing. Not suggesting he showed much when he did feature, but it's usually harder for players to go abroad and settle when they don't play.

David do you think the board will spend the Cifu money now knowing its guaranteed. When it becomes official obviously.
