This is absolutely massive for us tonight. Cmon the famous

Tamus

Horrendous by Rangers re Ianis Did we not freeze out Michael Ball in similar circumstances

Keith Kettlewell

Massive game tonight and there’s another farcical story about the way we conduct business. The club isn’t half making it hard to put your faith into it just now 🙈

Chris Scott

I feel that we’re stuck with the chicken chasing the egg. We need the CL cash to rebuild the squad, but to get CL we need a better squad than what we currently have. It was the same in January, a speculative purchase or two may have got us over the line. The prize was €43m. From a business point of view, you need to take a risk to achieve growth now and again. We don’t seem willing or capable (cash flow is king) to take a risk and push on. It’ll be the same story every year unless we get new investors with a fresh attitude and approach.

John Smith

I hope Hagi stays and bridges are mended but I don’t think it will happen

Kevin Richmond

I heard about Hagi's clause last year and kind of just laughed it off as rubbish, and totally forgot about it all until this came out. A craaazy situation.

Craig Lamont

Do we think these stories re. contracts and sales coming out is related to Souness' comments on TalkSport? He sounded like he was biting his tongue on going full blown nuclear on the Clubs leadership.

Graham Roy

The sooner we get a competent CEO in the better! Won’t fix everything but at least start to stop things like this!

Ryan Stewart

Another shambles re Hagi. We are basically Sideshow Bob walking into all the rakes at this point

Andrew Meldrum

Is there a possibility that Koppen could find a way out of Hagi impasse? Probably not until Sep if Hagi doesn't move on, but he would need to play and we are currently paying him for nothing. Might be he waives the wage rise, but gets bigger bonuses and we give him a minimum fee release clause at the very low end (£1.5m).

Graeme McLeod

Koppen's never been in charge of recruitment before joining us, much less has any prior experience with situations like this. Unless Hagi prioritises playing over finances, I doubt there's going to be any positive developments for us.

Alan Keegan

Let’s have Lucky Man by ELP.

Alan Keegan

I’m determined to be optimistic about tonight. So I’m just going to be. Scott Wright seems to back from H&H dead - mebbe a way back for Hagi too ?

John Davidson

Hagi has made 99 appearances for Rangers. Is it not more likely that the clause is that he receives some sort of payment/uplift on 100 games? And is that kind of clause really that unusual?

Stewart Robertson

Reminiscent of the whole Michael Ball debacle. Mind, we couldn’t afford to play him anymore, because it would have triggered another big payment to Everton ? Thought we’d left all that nonsense behind.

Allan Waltham

The thought of disappointment tonight is becoming unbearable. Please do it Rangers.

John Breen

If that hagi story is even half true we are an absolute joke of a club. Letting him leave for nothing can’t be real

Fraser Martin

Easily as big a fraud and charlatan as Beale, but given years to sow the seeds of catastrophe.

Today's song always takes me back everytime i hear it.

Russ

Reminiscent of the Dele Alli situation at Everton. If he made 20 appearences they'd have had to pay spurs 20m so they bombed him out to Turkey on loan before he did. You can't tell me the lads been injured the last 2 years, Everton are just skint. These sort of situations do get a bit murky in regards to player welfare imo.

Scott Dickson

Wilson’s worse. Beale came in when we were a bit of a mess, steadied the ship but then fucked up when given too much power. Wilson screwed up every transfer window he ever had barring the first one. He hired Beale, he signed the utter dross we have that costs us a fortune in wages (Matondo, Davies, Lawrence etc). Remember we paid about £80k p/w for a crocked Aaron Ramsey under him, because we were paying 10% of his 400k p/w wages but also had a 7 figure loan fee.

8luenose1872

The club should be asking Hagi to forget the wage increase for another chance at actually playing football again but i cant see him taking it up with that agent of his, he seems like one of those - fk the players interests as long as im getting rich - agent's.

Graham Roy

In fairness maybe they have…we will never know I think best solution all round i he moves on….im not surprised this story came out after he had a good game for B team. It’s probably his agent trying to force rangers into doing something!

Stewart Robertson

What’s with the Dee-na-mo Keev thing ? It’s like listening to Joey Barton pretending to be French 😃

Bixby Snyder

As far as I’m aware, “Key-ev” is how the Russians say it and so they’re trying real hard to change it back and get away from that.

Seumais Simpson

I was never a massive fan of The Verve or RA, but I recently saw the performance of "Love Is Noise" at Glasto 2008 and it is absolutely incredible. They are so tight, the sound is unbelievable and it is so much better than the studio version. Here is a link. https://youtu.be/DBQMfBAkh-0?si=HBnfv3Ze_hr4A1ON Anyway, come on the Rangers.

Roderick Boyle

Adam , I lost count of your , “ don’t know “ ,

Martin Sutherland

Adam’s optimism that the manager will pick the right team is fun. He didn’t
