Great pod Adam, thanks! Really interesting with some of the possible connotations, especially the difference next year of finishing first (with probable guaranteed CL) and second (where we could miss all group stage competition). Gutted at the 40m vs 10m minimums for this year 😢 Hope this wakes the board up from their current bout of somnambulism. Though I don’t think they even know they’re all fast asleep, sadly.

Good listen Adam I think the very nature of the coefficient is that it is going to be up and down by design. The more success you have, the harder it is to sustain. The better we do, the less qualifying rounds are needed, the less points we make (being an example) And then as we start to go down the rankings then there’s more opportunities to start to go back up again. Tough couple of years ahead and shame we’ve not been able to maximise our high ranking with auto CL qualification etc. A huge financial miss as you touched upon. (Unless we win it this year….. 🙏🏼)

As Gavin said Scotland is part of a UK media deal, why are Scottish teams not ranked with the UK media coefficient alongside the English teams?

Gavin said there would be 3 teams from pot 1 did he not? Would it not be 2 pot 1 teams? 2 pot 2 teams etc? Or am I being thick?
