January 2018 saw Rangers go to the US for the Florida Cup and we nearly broke Patreon. When the team got back, a bright start was curtailed with a loss at home to Hibs.

Join Dave, Rob, Stuart and David as the full squad are back to continue to chart Graeme Murty's 2nd caretaker stint.

Fitbastats.com is great for the teamsheets for every Rangers game and pretty much 100% accurate as far as I’ve discovered. A word of warning though - you can spend hours on there! 😅

I came to these historical walk throughs late. When you did le guen, I started, wondering if it would make sense of it all. And I stayed. A while back, I decided to go back and listen to the advocaat shows. I have now reached the decline, recorded during Caixinha and this Murty period. And there are lots of references to what was happening at the time. So I am reliving Murty's time twice, simultaneously. The good news is I have McLeish and Gerrard coming up. Everything is cyclical as David says at the start.

My son’s first match was the Hibs defeat.. even at 8yrs old it didn’t put him off. In fact meeting Bruno Alves and Graeme Murty in a restaurant that evening (both of whom were superb for chatting away with my son & my mate’s son) left him thinking that this going to Rangers games was a great way to spend a weekend! And he has the teamsheet 😉

Finally jumped in and forced myself to listen to these having been with the format since the Advocaat shows in real time as they were released. I just couldn't put myself through it all again while the current Rangers team were killing my soul too. Quite funny listening (from comments 10 months ago) to how viceral everyone is about Russell Martin and his time at Rangers. I was / still am of exactly the same opinion. It was Konterman levels of atrocious. Let's hope he can right some wrongs from his Rangers legacy now.
