Tolmie

Cortes another who’s injured far too often and we have committed a lot of money to him, not sure I buy into the bad luck stuff

Mark Rennie

3-2 rangers, bajrami anytime goal, 55/1 😁

Charlie Nicolson

Album recommendation is pretty good, judging from first few songs

Excellent question and answer. Davie, how long before we win back to back Lge titles? I was asked this today and almost cried as I said I can't see it for 3 or 4 seasons to get one nevermind back to back!

David Mackie

PC said last season and again in the summer that the squad was not robust enough and picked up to many injuries he both times said he would fix this behind the scenes !!Fast forward to this season we are back to key players being out far to often for key games, in other words no change ? Is this just another hot air statement from a manager who seems to talk a lot but so far has delivered very little. I agree with all your common on the support David but in all honesty just want to see a way forward and that is hard to see at the moment. Particularly around injuries etc

Heart and Hand

It can take a couple years, but equally it can switch pretty quickly (due to standard of rest of league). Realistically though, yes, I’d expect at least this season and another two windows minimum. At best.

Heart and Hand

Unfortunately we’re not going to see one definitive thing. There are positive steps - performances on pitch mainly, but also appointments off field and the likes - but we’ll need to start getting a hell of a lot more right than we have recently.

Jim Milne

Off topic question...... appreciate any responses. I live in Canada, and haven't had a season ticket since ei left in 2002. I'll be back in August 2025. If I want to buy 3 tickets to a game do I have to be a My Gers Member?

David Campbell

Your correct David we seriously lack pace, out wide but for me especially at the back. Hopefully we get a result tonight will be a difficult game being positive 2 1 Rangers

Heart and Hand

It helps but there are public sales too. Depends the game too Jim - anyone other than Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts and you’ll pick spares up at the subway no problem at all.

Heart and Hand

Trust me, if I thought screaming about it would move the timescale along, I’d do it 😀 But reality is it’ll take time, good decisions, a bit of luck and there will he kicks in the Nicky Laws along the way.

james whyte

The good decisions part worries me! Anyway, a result tonight and we keep moving forwards 💪

Derek Robertson

The negativity on FF and from some on here is off the scale. There are a few that are looking for things to wring just so they can turn around and tell people they were right.

Tolmie

A player who will struggle to stay fit in Scotland, were Roofe and Jack unlucky, I don’t buy it. Made of glass.

John Jamieson

100% I left Twitter due to the just “absolute everything is bad at the club” things have been bad but the issues we have take time to fix and everyone wants its fixed in 3 months it’s so unrealistic. Like a rebuild that we are currently in

Billy McCormack

Today's news, a Rangers player is injured, in other news Water Wet!

Heart and Hand

It’s fine to be angry at things that have been done badly. But it just seems a bit reductive to me to do it every day, constantly, the same stuff. At some point it’s about how we get out of it rather than how we got into it.

Colin Mathie

Get rid of Cortes, we cant afford passengers.

Neil Wilson

I'll give the album a look. Cheers

Brian dowie

Clement prior he injuries would get better but to me they seem just as bad

Russ

Tbh with Cortés I just think his body isn't robust enough for Scottish football. Not yet at least. Same as Raskin. We can't keep having players going into run of the mill challenges up here and being written off for 3 months off the back of it. We need to get our s&c right and do our due diligence on signings before they come in.

Kris

At last, a glimmer of positivity shines through… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Neil

On the injuries, someone more knowledgeable can probably educate me, but it seems like it comes down to training/conditioning and recruitment... i.e. we are consistently buying players who can't stand up to the Scottish game, and/or we're not conditioning them to withstand injuries. Both of those problems aren't really going to have quick fixes.

Martin Boyd

Agree totally, I have been on FF since the footymad board . Now rarely go there as I find myself getting annoyed at the angry wee men posting garbage everyday. It was the only place I went for Rangers news when I was abroad in 2012 as I thought it was reasonably trustworthy. I miss the days when posters would be polite and even wish each other good night.

Peter Hosie

I’m not sure if people pretend to be angry for staunchness points tbh

Peter Hosie

I remember we were all shouting for Dr Waller to return due to the injuries yet since his return it’s more of the same.

Neil

I don't have anything to base this on and am probably stating the obvious, but it feels like the signing strategy has been stats-driven - with an eye to uncovering silky future superstars; except the stats don't cover holding up to getting kicked up and down the park at Kilmarnock (let alone the pressure of having 50K fans decide you are shite after one misplaced pass). Also I'm assuming all the people who are actually good at the stats stuff are in the EPL or other leagues...

Andy MacArthur

How is our injury record in comparison to the same time last season? Clement was adamant after a good pre season injuries would be a lot less. It seems like it is going a similar direction as last.

Heart and Hand

No, they don’t pretend, but they lay it on thick for effect. Social media is a confection anyway, everyone is presenting - especially behind anonymous accounts. It’s the relentless, non-stop misery and - worse - screaming/abusing anyone who dares to be positive.

Heart and Hand

Gary Neville said (about Man Utd injuries) that ‘one season is bad luck, if it happens again them you’re either doing something wrong in training or buying the wrong players’.

Iain Graham

Talking about FF, does anyone have an email address I can challenge a banning? I've tried using the "Contact us" but no reply. It was a harsh banning...honest!

Graham Roy

Roofe had always been historically injured so that is on recruitment and manager. Jack was a low risk signing who had a few knee injuries but generally was available for most of the season at Aberdeen. It’s unfair to make a full judgement about him it’s fairly normal for players out for a long time to pick up a few knocks on their recovery.

George Baxter

I was banned permanently for saying ff is full of moaners

George Baxter

74 years old and followed all my life. I'm better without ff to be honest

KMc

Nice touch on the Jesse album. Seen him countless times in tuts over the years! The Bleachers version of PoP is quality.
