John Smith

Think they still miss us ?

Sandy Fraser

Kasanwirjo’s big strong legs 💙

Alastair Thomson Mills

There was a desire and a cohesion out there we haven’t seen so far this season. So proud.

Scott

We were great tonight, onwards and upwards for us this season! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

Billy Forrester

Haven’t listened yet but what a fantastic performance, Dessers was superb as was Barron and Kasanwirjo but Berhami for me was stand out, we have a player on our hands. I’ve said this team isn’t as bad as some make out and we are getting better every game, I see good times ahead for us if we are patient Delighted with that tonight 🇬🇧💙

Greg Cameron

Amazing what a good performance can do to lift the spirits! Was fearing the worst...how foolish! On to Sunday 👊🏻

Gary Q

Ah, Oasis on a Thursday night 💪

Douglas Innes

In true Eurovison style " greetings from Malmo tonight we give Rangers 3 points " .....

Dan

Well done Rangers. Lots to improve on but lots to build on. Much easier to learn when winning, especially away from home in Europe

Graham Morrison

Fantastic result! Building a new young team, given time,we will be back winning trophy's! Cmon the Rangers!👍💙⚽️🇬🇧

Stewart McKee

Have we settled with Aberdeen over Barron? Surely his performances so far don't effect the price?

Fraser Black

Bajrami is giving me serious sex wee vibes!! Those 1v1s though 🙉 what a defensive performance, really great to see relationships forming back there.

Robert White

Albanian superstar indeed. Dessers gave everything. Kwasanjiro was incredible for a debut. We are on our way..

Steven Harvey

It is absolutely amazing what a good Rangers win does for your mood!!!! 😆🇬🇧⚽️

Gordon Millar

Signs of progress.......squad needs strengthening that doesn't go away, but we shut them up and let our football do the talking! Best possible start, keep it going👏💙

Mike Black

Sweden doesn't have VAR

Steven L

Good listen. Few sound issues at 25 mins.

Russ

Brilliant lads. Chuffed with that!

Tolmie

Spon on, Barjami is a different level of player, he will be brilliant for us.

Alan Shaw

Is there anyway we can play our league games on a Thursday

Garry Brown

Finishing was abysmal. Great result, but never been so frustrated with a European away win.

Vanb bryceter

Souttar was immense again and proper continues to improve nana was fantastic Barron and Dio were full of energy Barjami showed some great touches Dessers was very good overall a good team performance We need to get behind Clement he knows what he's doing

Craig

Gave away too many free kicks all night, but was great to see them being brave enough to hold such a high line defending them. Haven't see that since the 20/21 season.

Cairo

Step out toniiiight. 💙

8luenose1872

Not in their league but its compulsory in europe, they wouldn't be allowed to play in any European competitions if they didnt use it.

8luenose1872

We were class tonight all over the pitch but surely we could have brought on young Lovelace for Dessers late on when he had given everything, hibs is only a couple of days away.

Boyd

Let's be real. CD9 made a legendary pass to bajrami in the first minute 🤣🤣

Boyd

Also genuinely curious was var even in operation?

Colin Wieland

Not a single mention of Tav here or on the post match vid. Hope that can continue for a week or two.

Craig Holmes

No we have signed him as a free agent but because of his age and he's from a British team we have to pay Aberdeen a development fee which is being disputed (the last I heard)

Chris Macfarlane

David, et al, when you watch the game back, can you do an appraisal of Tav’s performance? He was honking for the first 20 of the 2nd half, beyond that, though he was ok. My mates and guys on Twitter slating him. It’s become like Father Jack, they just say the same thing regardless of what they’re watching. Cerny on the other hand… Thought he was poor.

Jim Milne

For 99% of John Souttar's Rangers career he has been a right footed central defender playing on the left side of defence. Everytime I watched him he always looked like he was having to reposition his entire body anytime the oppositiom attacked. That along with Goldson' ability to blame everyone else for a goal apart from himself I believe has been detrimental to Souttar's career so far. Hopefully with a stash partner and playing in his preferred position we will finally get the best version of Souttar.

David Anderson

It's for his development at Aberdeen, performances now won't make a difference. Last I heard, it's still sitting with the spfl to sort a date

Craig

Tav notably improved in the second half when Czerny went off, suddenly looked a lot less exposed, but I think we also switched to 4-5-1 at that point.

Tommy

Martin-McGuire live from Malmo, a gloriously unexpected bonus!

Spoon

Thought he was miles better tonight, won a lot of duels, looked well positioned most times he was called on and was tidy in possession. Played well for me.

Spoon

Fair play lay to the manager he got it right tonight and the players to a man delivered. Some great performances and if we hadn’t all been in a bit of a funk about how the seasons started I think the team actually get more credit. Been sceptical that McAusland has what it takes but loved the desire to break through and get his goal, brilliant to see and hopefully he can do a bit more of that. Great watch tonight.

Spoon

All kidding aside bud, if we did go two up I suspect any striker would love to partner Dessers, he takes guys out the play and works the line hard but his passing to set up guys is always very good. A striker that would do better if he got the service he gives others for me!

Andy mccrorie

Big Dave (kasanwirjo) had a solid game at left back . Looks a proper defender the lad

Doogz

Should easily have been 5 goal win, but very happy with performance, for the first time this season our shape looked really good, and we pressed as a team, there will be far tougher opponents to come, but let’s hope this is the start of this team starting to knit together.

Spoon

Comment spot on Billy, challenge currently is there’s too big a gap between our best and worst performance levels, we all know that’s down to various factors that aren’t quick fixes. What we need is consistency both in how we approach games, selection and application to get that business as usual standard to sit higher. There’s no doubt when the first 11 play at their peak we are a good team, just need them fit and available routinely and firing on all cylinders. Positive signs but sustaining it is the difference and where we have struggled. Let’s hope some of these Euro games give us a bit of a morale and confidence boost, I’m convinced the belief we took form Europe a few years ago drove us on in the league. Won’t hurt that mythical PTM either if we are showing up well in the Europa.

Brian McLatchie

Was Colin in Malmo or has a couple of Glory Hunters ditched him tonight🤑

Doug Young

Thought Tav was great first half defensively. Dropped a bit, but best he's defended all season, no question.

David Kiltie

Some of the wrestling in the Malmo penalty area was comical. How VAR did not pick it up is baffling. Even so, great performance and result. As always there is some nonsense as a background to a Rangers game - Jefte’s suspension, Cortes’ injury, Igamane’s visa issues but promising that the team could overcome them.

Simon H&H

He had a good game I felt. And the stats guys felt the same. 8.1 rating overall. Bajrami our highest at 8.5

Bill Jones

gonna practise finishing these chances

Sandy White

so, on one hand Dessers had a great game, on the other we disect the game and he's criticised several times. We badly need a better striker.

John Palmer

Sitters aside, it's refreshing to see us go away and Win again in Europe which has become a bit of a habit since 2018 when it all started. Team's do nit want to play us regardless of how we're fairing in our Domestic League. The games I really want us to do the business in is v both EPL side's as that'll get it right up the English pundits and fans who don't like our League and always put us down.
