Colin is moving house this week so today’s show is a rerun of a previous popular episode from back in January 2020.

Jack and Colin invite Tess on to discuss some of their favourite kids TV shows.

They start off with some heavy-hitters like Byker Grove and Grange Hill and move all the way to Button Moon, Super Ted and many many more.

Ahhhh Nostalgia!!!

It better still have the AI outro song.

Wasn’t mentioned on here but I also fondly remember Thomas & The Tank Engine, original graphics, as it was a show I would watch in my early school days and also Bernard’s watch about a boy who could stop time with his old pocket watch.

Kickstart was immense , it was a motocross gameshow type thing for kids/teens

Andy mccrorie

There was also Super Champs aswell

Think I’ve seen every episode of Postman Pat. The original ones from the 80’s, the ones from the 00’s and the newest ones from a few years ago. They are all on YouTube, and it’s all my wee boy watches. The old ones and ones from the 00’s are okay. But Deary me the newest ones are absolute tripe

@Colin, every week you enunciate a commonly used word in the most mental way and I now think this is a skit in the show. This week it was narrative at 41:50 I refuse to believe you really say Naa-rat-ive in every day life!

Kev Roberts

I absolutely loved turtles and thunder cats

Derek Wingate

Tom n Jerry loved it best one was when jerrys uncle came to visit I think he was Mexican and was playing a guitar and every time a string broke he would go and pull a whisker from toms face always stuck in my mind that episode

I thought of Button Moon as soon as I saw the title of this... the theme song used to make me cry ! Showing my age, but the Grange Hill theme tune used here wasn't the one when I watched it, with the background of the comic strip

Rose Mcloughlin

I think shows that show kids want can happen are great like bikers grove...right now its Waterloo Road and they are covering lots of issues that teenagers have to deal with...great pod guys thanks

When you have kids you re live the nostalgia and embrace what the kids enjoy. Particularly, i liked Yo Gabba Gabba and Peppa Pig. Their future memories. It inspired me to invent politically incorrect stories to make the kids laugh. before bed. The characters were, Big daddy, Wee man, Shuggie and Ninja baby. All had individual strengths. Big daddy could wipe out thousands of kilometres of forest with a gentle fart.

Dont usually like nostalgia shows. Never as good as they used to be.. 😂

On my birthday it’s an old episode featuring Tess. Ouch

John Smith

Battle of the Planets was my dad’s favorite show ever. I grew up watching VHS tapes of Super Ted. My favorite character was Spotty. And you will not find many baddies as scary as Texas Pete

Iain McHolm

Anyome remember the centurions? Used to shout "POWER EXTREME" and parts would bolt onto there suit and they would become bikes or cars or planes? Can't believe there was not real content about Thundercats, best cartoon ever

Ross McCormack

Just heard Jack saying he is 34 years old and thought he was lying about his age until i realised its a rerun. Just joined the 40s club and know colin and Jack not too far behind :)

Loved Tess getting proper enthusiastic when remembering the different shows. Enjoyed listening to this as it was before I started listening to the Show as I only started when Andy joined the Show. I back up Stevie Clifford’s shout of Kickstart, class watching the skill of lads going around an assault course on a dirt bike. Can’t believe non of you remembered or mentioned Jossy’s Giants. Hope Colin got moved okay and I’ll look forward to next weeks episode. 🎙️👏🏻😁

Calum Robertson

Burst out laughing at Tess’s thoughts about the Chuckle Brothers being mad shaggers with all the horny single mums at their shows 😁

Aatlis

Did anyone watch MASK?

Paul Kerr

Great to hear this again So so many I could mention, rented the roadrunner complete one time and never laughed so much. Must have seen the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon about 10 times, Heres a good one using a really mad premise... the Fonz and the happy days gang. A time travelling cartoon from Hanna Barbera. Time to get Tess back on.

Calum Downham

@31:40 that mama two shoes impression is quality 😂😂😂 who was it 😂

Scott Knox

Great bit of nostalgia this. What about Captain Planet and Poddington Peas. But does anybody remember a show I think was about MC Hammer and his shoes? Either that or I have totally made it up in my head 🙈

Alistair Campbell

Decided on a wee name change to freshen things up too?

William Donaghy

Can't believe nobody mentioned, courage the cowardly dog
