Can’t believe that Colin is moving house without taking holidays from his work. Also can’t believe that he shat himself at the last tennis club quiz

Simon

If office based you should definitely be in there 3/4 days a week. I’m field based and find it a pain in the arse when I visit the office I can’t go and see someone when I have to. Video calls aren’t the same.

Simon

Out of order slagging someone’s new bird like that.

Steven L

That bit at the end about Colin is unbelievable. Can’t believe yous said that 🤣🤣🤣

David Wylie

In all seriousness I really hope no one from Colins work listens to this, might want to edit

Ross B

Jack that’s great news that you’re now so much more technologically advanced than Colin!

James McSween

This could rival the David & Todd show.

LD

So much of the show devoted to Colin, should happen more often.

Rocket landing on the pad in the ocean yrs ago was eye popping. The new space x footage and correction to achieve safe capture, same. Looked like it could crash. Musk’s stepping stones though, Electric Cars (Movie Christine), Starlink (surveillance), Nuralink (chips in the heid.). What could go wrong? Where’s Conrad this week?

Jordan McKay

I work in a two man sub team and my colleague has over a thousand unread emails 😂 I could never live with that

Neil 55

The bit at the end I didn't realise that was the case. Wow.

David Whyte

Love the new tune at the end, probably the best RBR show to date, keep up the great work

Colin

Ah so Jack is a lazy work shy bastard. Good to know.

Mark Musil

Really don't understand the obsession (not by you boys but in general) with Elon Musk, he's just a rich guy who's invested in a tech company. He isn't the one doing any of the engineering or coming up with any of the mad things spaceX do...

Rona Bluebell

Brian Cox (scientist) explains how colonisation is the wrong approach. We need to outsource building etc to other planets and make Earth the clean planet to live on. I just spent time at Edinburgh’s Robotarium a week ago, chatting to a robot (seriously) and learning about future skills automation. It’s mind blowing. 🤯

Jim Milne

Can't believe that's what you bought as a new brief Jack! Congrats. Colin defo appreciates you!

Robert White

Musk is the genius of our time. He is the lead engineer and creator of Paypal. Democratises Internet payment. Tesla: electric cars trucks solar batteries robots Space X: solar system exploration. But aye he's no aw that guid ...

Public sector v. private sector. I moved abroad to Canada 22 years ago. Before that I worked in the public sector getting my apprenticeship. In that time they paid for me to go to college one day a week. So I only worked 4 days a week. In those four days I would work 9:00am till 5:00pm loosely. I had two 30-minute breaks and a lunch that lasted 1 hour 30 minutes. I would often be told by the "union guys" that I was walking too fast. Lucky if I "worked" 30hours, no weekends, 2 weeks at xmas and all holidays plus 6 weeks holiday time. When I moved to Canada I went to working 90 hours a week overnight. 2 weeks vacation and just 5 to 6 days of paid holidays on top of that. I am a tool & die maker. Talk about a shock to the system LOL Public sector workers have it so good, less hours, less stress and defined pensions.

John Smith

If and when Trump wins on November 5th, the next 4 years America will have a man on Mars. That’s down to Elon. He’s probably the most important inventor we’ve had for generations

Robert White

If a comet hits earth humanity dies. If we have a moon or Mars base, the species survives. I'd trust the guy who is on the verge of eliminating blindness and physical disability for humans over a drummer.

Jim Milne

Also his kids if he's a good Dad, that's usually a sign of a good person. He can't keep his dick out of any hole. He could almost field a starting 11.

"I was looking forward to pounding Cammy" (c) Andy McGowan

Heart and Hand

Personally I wouldn’t trust Musk with my remote but each to their own. That drummer is a PHd by the way.

Graeme Woodward

Can’t believe you slagging your pal Colin off like that while he moving house. 🤣🇬🇧

BlueJay

Saved the best til last at the end, can't believe Colin's middle name is 'Cosby'. Great show again lads 👍

Think the WFH discussion was really interesting. I get what Andy is saying about mentorship etc for young folk in their career but from experience, I think ways of working, mainly regionally dispersed teams and everything being done through a laptop really takes alot of the value out of it. I used to always try to go into the office when my most senior boss based in the same office was in but you never really got the chance to properly connect or learn from them because they are glued to their laptop all day. Agree hybrid is the way forward because its good to actually meet in person with folk where possible but I think ways of working and technology added in with the real tangible financial / opportunity costs of commuting etc takes alot of value out of going into the office more than once or twice a week.

John F

I used to think Colin was a really nice person That thing you said he did near the end is utterly vile!! How anyone could do that i just dont understand Fuck you Colin!!!!

Mark Boyd

Oh Andy, the judgment. Surely your manager could get more out of you jack 😂

Jack Shaw

Maybe. But then he’d have to get everyone else to up their level to a point that I genuinely don’t think they could do and it’d cause all sorts of greetin’ and drama. ‘Work smart….” Etc.

Mark Boyd

No I meant Andy’s comment was surely your manager could get more. 100% you do the required amount. Not everyone wants to have a heart attack with stress at 50 mate 👍🏼

Great show lads! Loving ‘The Penguin’ & I watched the McMahon documentary over two nights. It was a compelling watch especially as he made off the cuff remarks thinking he was being very cryptic & clever knowing what we now know about him. Andy you can get a pop up chargers now for electric cars. I have just ordered my 2nd electric car, the one I have now has a terrible range that’s the only reason I’m changing to the new Scenic. I love the way electric cars drive, the acceleration is instant & amazing. Can’t believe that’s true about Colin, Great news about Jack though. The cliffhanger at the end though……..cruel lads, cruel!

Mike Sim

That outro tune was the best yet!

Niall MacKay

I was out to lunch with an H&H podder once. They didn't charge us for beers and I said we better tell them. He told me in two short words what he thought of it! Won't name names of course.

Dougie

Loving the penguin 👏👏

Derek Wingate

Kenny Park

While show was about Colin! You no longer need to turn up pal lol 😂 Great show lads loved it!

TIMMY TURTON

Jack, I can’t believe you got a Tesla before Colin… 🚙🔋🤣
