Deepest, darkest Ayrshire on a wet and windy Sunday awaits us next.

It's been a fixture and ground we have both enjoyed and faced heartbreak in, let's hope for another 3 points on Sunday.

Alex, Steven and Iain provide the Preview.

Surely signing Kent till end of season would be a good move. He's better than Matondo, MacCausland and Cortes looks to be out for MONTHS. He must have got a huge signing on fee from Fener so doesn't need the money. Quoted as saying in papers he would not be hard to deal with in terms of wages. If true, a no brainer, considering that big void on our attacking left. He'd also be putting himself in the shop window with a view to English clubs in the summer.

50/50 with Kent He checked out early before

Think expecting to be able to generate a transfer fee for Tom Lawrence at 31, with his injury record and 6 months left on his contract, is pretty unrealistic. Agree with Alex on the manager. If he had came in and they'd continue to play as they had under Beale last season, but now had the beginnings of his own team in place, who were getting the results we have been recently, thhen we'd be pretty hopefully. He raised expectations by getting them to play at a level which was beyond their abilities and unsustainable.

Thanks lads. I definitely don't expect a good performance tomorrow. But when do we ever? A turgid game vs St.J wasn't "one of those games" it was absolutely typical of us. Thankfully we won! Renewing Lawrence's contract would be confirmation we are fine with being 2nd and haven't learned a thing on player contracts.

Tbf Alex was saying Beale was doing fine. Some pretty impassioned pods on here saying so! So it doesn't work to then hear Clement took over a mess and is a victim of his own success. Unless we are just finding a way to land on a positive regardless all of the time, every time.

David Kiltie

Great pod, gents. Are we ever going to have a comfortable, free flowing win at Rugby Park? The journey back from the Kirk tomorrow will be a nervy one. I notice how similar the predicted line ups are. On the Rangers Review Joshua goes for the same line up as Steven and Iain, and Derek’s only difference is Sterling in place of Dio. Is this a good or a bad thing, I wonder? Our lack of wide options is well documented. Once Yilmaz is back that would allow Jefte to move further forward to allow Bajrami to move to the number 10. Selecting the Rangers team is like a game of Jenga! We got the ideal result in the East End today. At half time I thought the filth were going to blow the Sheep away. Please, Rangers, don’t screw up tomorrow!

Angus Mackay

Good pod, thanks lads. Agree with Alex very much on the manager and what he’s had to deal with. Also a strong seven for me because we’re finally looking at the long term - which we’ve neglected for far too long. Hopefully he gets the monkey off his back soon. Nay, nay and thrice nay to Kent. The revisionism is unreal. Any kind of win tomorrow, plz.

Just got up on Sunday morning. If the game’s on it’s going to be a lottery. They’ll be lucky to survive it let alone play it.

If James Tavernier was a prized racing horse then today would be the day the white tent would be pulled out to put him out his misery

Derek Stevenson

And a few others too. Club is a mess. Squad is a mess. Manager’s tactical plan is a mess. Utter dejection watching this garbage week in and out.

Simon Lewandowski

get this fraud of a manager out before its too late to give him a rating of 7/10 is laughable we have gone nowhere in the full year he has been in charge

Ian w

How we polishing this turd.

Alan Thomson

How long do we have to put up with this dross, no shape, no style of play and worst of all, no effort! It’s embarrassing how gutless this manager and team are!!!

Chris Wight

If the board are going to go ahead with Clement because they want to break this cycle of hiring and firing managers I can realistically see a world where that team plays in front of an ibrox with 20,000 people in it every week. This is going to be the case from December onwards when we inevitably lose at Pittodrie and get beat by them on the 2nd of Jan. Question for the podders, how do we stop this from being reality?

jamey Carruthers

Not too late to delete this pod and the new deal for Tom Lawrence shouts “renaissance”

JimGLW

You'll hear how mean the fans are for complaining and a reference to great rangers teams dropping points at Rugby park in the next pod.
