Another great song today

Great achievement! Well done Davie and the rest of the lads. 👏👏 There is zero progression. Lge standings show us this and in general the whole Club is treading water, if not going backwards.

After CR, Gerrard is probably the main face of the Saudi football project. Sacking him would be a major failure.

Saw Hooky at the O2 Academy recently- brilliant gig and Ceremony was particularly good. You heard the demo on YouTube with Ian Curtis singing?

Graeme Burns

Thought experiment - if you swapped the mangers of Rangers and Celtic, how does this season play out?

Spoon

Now that’s a tune for a Tuesday

Spoon

Was there too mate he is the man and the band get better every year. Love New Order and was at the last gig at Hydro but their show just doesn’t have what Hooky does. The Substance set was top notch and great to see a wee younger group following the great man 👌🏼

Up until recently the settlement period for a player was pre-season and the first fortnights football and that was just how it was. Given how early we start every season and the initial euro or cup games it doesn’t matter how long Clement wants to give players the reality is we don’t have months to get up to speed. If he genuinely thinks every summer he gets months to settle the team down and playing he’s delusional.

Said to my mate at the time: “ do you think if he’d done Joy Division first a lot of the crowd would’ve left?” He somewhat thought yes! I’m late 40’s and he’s early 50’s.

“This version has Ian on it. Therefore, it can be deduced that this is the best version of the song to ever exist.” Not my words but hard to argue

Thanks David for the Shout out We are so chuffed that a wee suggestion on Follow Follow on a drunken Friday night 18 years ago to try raise £1,000 for Erskine had developed into sum of almost £1.5M for the charity We will hit that total before the end of 2024 Thank you so much once again to every single person who has made this happen Spectemur Agendo

For something a bit different the Radiohead version of it (also on YouTube) is excellent.

Samuel Campbell

I'm going to see him Thursday night in Belfast. Honestly can't wait. Playing both of New Order and Joy Divisions substance albums

AGS

You won’t be disappointed mate show is excellent

Stephen

For perspective we should all be made to go back to one of the early daily updates where we would have been discussing if we should played Myles Beerman or Declan John at full back that week..

Spoon

I thought he would go JD to NO as well but then you see how punky the Substance album is and the energy went up. A top gig, the last one in Barrowlands was good too.

Robert White

Brilliant question. Went back and forth in this and sadly overall I think we would do better in Scotland.

Gary B

New Order and Ceremony on my birthday! Thank you David!

Andy Sladen

The tunes just keep getting better Mr Edgar!!

Graham Leatherbarrow

Perhaps our players raise game for euro games thinking they are more in shop window in Europe, not acceptable

On holiday and catching up on things. I bought that single in the old Virgin Megastore in Renfield Street the day it came out! From memory, also bought Fiery Jack by The Fall. There's a tune for a future update if there's a Butland story happening.
