Long haul cabin crew here, (20 years ) I feel your pain David ! And yes, it does take longer to recover from the jet lag the older you get,day 1 back in the UK I’m a complete cabbage both mentally and physically. The other day I found my remote control in the fridge , I tried to blame the kids 🧐

Oh that is very kind! As I said on the show, I couldn't believe the attitude of some of the (sorry for language but it's true) pricks around me. First class service and these dicks are being rude for no reason. Same even with getting staff to bring them drinks when they were six feet away from bar. Just piss poor behavior. Money doesn't equal class it seems!

You do get some arseholes on flights especially the ones in the premium cabins who think they are Billy big baws. I usually deal with them with an iron fist in a velvet glove and you can say “anything “ within reason to any customer with a cheeky smile and manners. Sometimes ,I have to be very direct and my Glaswegian accent comes in handy when diffusing situations 😜

We attended a Michael Franti & Spearhead gig recently (😃). The venue had more than enough male & female toilets. To the left of the stage there are two toilets one headed ‘Male’ the other ‘Everyone’ this made me chuckle. Also Clint Eastwood managed to overcome the desert in The Good The Bad and The Ugly due to great EFFORT therefore negating the need to drink his or someone else’s piss ‘Rangers’.
