It appears as if they don’t want to make a move on the manager until there’s a CEO in post but, I suspect, it also appears that the CEO is starting on the 16th of December because they’re worried about getting a battering off Celtic in a cup final and don’t want that hanging over him, which is exactly why they should have made a move on the manager by now. A case study in how not to run a professional football club.

Heard it insinuated on here before that Gillespie knocked the CEO role back due to fear/pressure. Seems a very similplistic explanation, and convenient for the club, considering the shambles of a process they've over seen. Are we sure that's accurate?
