Was most enjoyable game of the season for me. The fans who travelled were phenomenal, and a credit to our club. Glad they got the experience they did after travelling with us in the form we have been lately. Raskin and Barron are consistently our best players, actually Souttar too. Hopefully Igamane holding up and his pace can help us unlock the SPFL low blocks. Especially on Sunday. Let's hope Igamane, Hagi and Danilo can get game time leading up to LCF.

We were absolutely superb last night great performance and result .But why are we so poor in the league can anyone explain kind regards 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇧🇬🇧

One thing noticeable last night was that the Nice team was similar height wise to us. In comparison Scottish teams tend to go for height and bulk. Said for a couple of years now it is almost as if we need 2 teams, one for Scotland and one for Europe. Especially when you see Ridvan for example tring to mark a player in Scotland who is 6 feet 4 inches tall.

Igamane/Danilo, Barjami,Hagi,Cerny should destroy the St.johnstone cloggers on Sunday. Terrified the dogs last night loudest cheers of the season so far. I'm getting excited again 😁

Good performance last night We must carry it on in the league

KennyY

The fans were supportive and the players played with freedom being the underdogs to everyone except us. Let’s support rather than booing and see where that gets us

Within a millisecond of that intro 'music' starting it was patently obvious that Davie was having no part in today's pod....

Our pressing and tenaciousness to win the ball in midfield was huge. I think it caused Nice to shite it. Praying this can be kept up 👍

Thanks Cammy, hopefully take this into Sundays match 👍

Dessers is under pressure with the competition for places in the first team, which is only a good thing.. we’ll see what he’s made of now, and if he can’t match up then he wont play unless there is nobody else. We need three strikers trying to get into the first team. This side is a mirror image of the early Gerrard team. They are inconsistent and they play better in Europe, mainly because the manager knows it better than Scottish football. The main difference is that this side is a very young side. They are trying to compensate for that with coaching development, which simply takes time to bear fruit. The fans have no patience so we are seeing a repeat of the past two Decembers. It’s yet to be seen if we will make the American mistakes again. The actions from the board in the summer are not a great sign, but the once sliver lining is the new CEO who has been chosen. He doesn’t come in and make their presence on the board acceptable, but it does give the club a chance to plough a better path, if they keep their beaks out of the running of the club. My hope is that they let him make the big decisions, and when he needs funds from them then they provide. We knew the board are not snakes who are trying to ruin the club, but they need to let someone else runt the business. That is what a CEO is for.

Great points in relation to the board Graham. On the Dessers issue I think we already know what he’s made of and it’s not a lot. I said last January he should have been offloaded and another striker brought in. In my opinion that decision cost us the league and automatic CL qualification. The only reasons CD has played so much is that we had no other options and the managers stubbornness to play Igamane and Danilo when available. It could eventually cost him his job.
