Rangers had the opportunity to make the Europa League Group stage which had felt a long way away even a month before. A heroic display in Russia would see us through though it was bookend by two disappointing away matches domestically.

Join Dave, Rob, Stuart and David as they chart Steven Gerrard's managerial reign at Ibrox.

It's hard to believe the position Gerrard got us to against them and where we find ourself these days, a few season later. Maybe the 15th will be the day it all changes! Lets hope so!

David when you say Alfie’s red card was “unforgivable” is that a figure of speech or did you really never forgive him? 🤣

I was like my wife - I ostensibly forgave him his minor transgression while carefully noting it, ready to be cast up whenever he annoyed me or refused to take the bin out.

Great pod guys. Really enjoying the series so far. That Ufa away game was the first moment since we came back up that I really felt we had Rangers back. Backs to the wall, down to 9 men and easy to fold but we stood up. It was glorious.

one of busiest threads on FF that night after the ufa game was the thread that was using flight tracker to track the flight back to Glasgow

Great memories of that run under Gerrard. Lafferty was great against Motherwell and Ufa. Worked so hard after the reds.

That brings back some proper memories, the landmark events that will always mean something. Crazy considering our history. I went to the airport with my son, it was a brilliant thing to be part of. I will always remember the look of awe on SG’s face. Alfie came through with the head down but the fans certainly picked him up with a rendition of his own song. That’s what he did to you, could have killed him a few hours earlier but couldn’t help try and lift him on his return. Thanks lads, enjoyed that.
