Great performances by the front 3 - and also 2 behind them in Raskin and Hagi Personally when the game was done I'd have rather seen King and McCausland than Dowel(who's offered nothing) and Barron(who's going to play almost every game) As a one off game, 6-0 win, starting front 3 all scoring and your sub getting a double - a pretty enjoyable night for a change

Noticeable difference with not just two strikers on but people playing further forward and being present in the box when balls were coming in. Credit to all where it’s due tonight. Most pleasing thing was seeing the team keep going and finishing strong.

As did I bud, night and day getting bodies forward with purpose and sustaining pressure, disappointing we haven’t done this and persevered with it before. Regardless of the strikers individual prowess they all looked better with that set up and desire to be on the front foot and it goes back to what I, and I know you, and others said about their more to get from this squad if used properly. Feel a bit bad about asking this but…..What does Clement have to do to stay in the job and turn what I suspect is still a lot of opinion that he isnt the man for the job based on what he has done to date ? Can he indeed turn it around, and what would that look like. For me to properly get back on board he almost has to do a Herculean task, if he managed to win the next two games vs them and we saw this style of football continue then I could maybe believe again. I am just being honest here and saying last night, as much as I can give him credit and I enjoyed it, doesnt remove my frustration with how he has used this squad up to now and the position he has put us in. I think even if he had kept in 5 points of them in second the ‘rebuild’ would have made that position acceptable. The distance off the top we find ourselves and the gap to even third I think makes it very hard to think that for all he might get a run going for a few games it won’t be enough to really justify his future or even more spend to build what until last night seemed a flawed plan. He chalks up another two defeats to them and loses out on a cup is there a way back ? Im not sure I could buy in after that unless we were an absolute machine in league and Europe and cemented second while reeling them in a bit. Interested in your own take ? Or am I totally wrong and irrational ?
