Billy McCormack

Unexceptable but they still have the cup, big fucking deal, they 2 clowns should be fucking sacked, and will they? Will they fuck, they'll be back officiating future games!

Brian Cairney

Muir and Connor need sacked and this what the club should be pushing for. It’s clear going by that audio that they either don’t know the rules or they do know the rules and have decided to ignore them.

John Smith

Praise the lord 🙏 This should happen with every single game. Get those arseholes to fuck out the door and never let them forget about it.

Jim Milne

"it's a Poor's decision" That's rich coming from a guy that thought it was okay to play volleyball in the box and then say it was offside 30 minutes later to cover himself.

Rona Bluebell

FFS. Cannot believe that. Two of them. Fuckers

Iain McKay

That's it then. The club cannot let this go. It's either staggering incompetence or corruption. There's no lessons to be learned. If a grade 1 official does not understand this most basic rule he's not fit to officiate schoolboy football nevermind national cup finals. The only acceptable outcome is the dismissal of the VAR officials.

Glen Kane

The trophy must be withheld. The club can't let this fade away.

David Rorrison

They’ve either ignored the rules of the game or they don’t know them. Incompetence / cheating only they will know, but to get that decision wrong - with multiple angles to view the incident from - is unbelievably incompetent and inexcusable in any game, never mind a Cup Final

Derek Stevenson

Muir and Connor should never be allowed to Ref / Ass Ref / VAR ever again. For no club or match as indirectly you can affect results and trophies. Collum should stand down at the end of the season. On the back of his lies on the Johnson / Sima VAR incident the SFA Refereeing department is first incompetent and two could be open to cheating or pressure from one Club. Mulraney should be removed from the SFA as too close to Lawwell and Celtic. Rangers must attack on this until proper actions are taken. And we should be in the press every day about it. Turn the tables Rangers. If the media don’t listen, use our own media to ramp up pressure.

John Smith

Withheld ? It should be given to us ! Blatantly cheating should be punished by rewarding the other team

John Smith

I hope we don’t let them breathe from now until Jan 2nd. That is a f*****g disgrace

John Smith

This should bring an end to the house of cards that is Scottish Football. These c***s should be taken to the cleaners

SunnyC

They thought we'd do our usual and grumble a bit then forget it. Not this time and never again, Rangers. That crowd still have the cup, and shameless bunch they are, they'll still brag about it, but if we continue to make this noise every time there's an 'honest mistake', things will change.

Jordan McKay

Given that Collum confirmed not only that they are looking at the holding (not the position of the foot) but that it outright carries on into the box, that makes it an even worse decision than we originally believed. Collum can try and delude himself into believing that the mistake was made by a prioritisation of admin over a forensic analysis of the decision. The integrity of the VAR and/or AVAR is absolutely in question.

Alastair McGeoch

It’s slightly worse as I think you hear the linesman at the beginning shout “it’s a penalty!” and Muir then focuses on proving it’s not rather than objectively assess the foul. This makes the “and then it goes…” worse because he sees it’s a penalty and decides to not give it. It also makes Maxwells interview even more laughable “gee, shucks, these things happen” is such a strange reaction give one of the two showpiece cup finals is now marred by this. Additionally, how come Celtic get apologies when an error goes against them and we get a “shit happens” shrug of the shoulders. Rangers should take this all the way…Dougie McDonald was hounded out by them for actually making a correct decision…

james whyte

Scandalous. Fair play to Collum. Short of calling them useless bawbags he did gonin on them. As you say Davie. Time for them to have some form of actual punishment...not just, have the wknd off before Xmas!

Graham McCallum

It’s all right there, it’s gross negligence of their role as VAR officials. Rangers need to push this until they’re removed from all duties. They’ve proved beyond any reasonable doubt that they’re not able or honest enough to do their jobs. With a new chairman and CEO just in the door this is a good time to go for them. It will get the fans onside straight away.

John Smith

Genuine question. Can police get involved in this ? Must be something about an organisation breaking the rules of a superior body (IFAB)

Sandy Fraser

Rangers have an open goal here to get these two dismissed on the grounds of gross incompetence and make an example of them. This is different this time, it’s not subjective. It’s 100% a penalty and no one can say it’s not. I won’t be surprised if we don’t say anything further at all because we’re unbelievably soft. If this happened to Celtic they would push until the two of them were sacked that’s why they’re in the position they are regarding getting everything going from refs. We need to realise the chance we have here and go in all guns blazing. If we don’t we can expect big decisions to fall Celtics way time and time again because when it comes down to it it’s easier to take the rangers flak than Celtic flak

John Smith

This proves why they don’t release tapes, give interviews or allow us to hear what they’re saying in real time. They’re corrupt scumbags

Ross

Also a financial element to these errors to the tune of £200k - gross misconduct

Jim Milne

Why don't we have a live camera on the VAR room just like to do another leagues?

Craig Armstrong

It gets worse with the audio. DE is right those 4 words "and then it goes" tell us that they know it's a penalty and don't give it. It's why I'm concerned about what the club does next. They have to call for the sacking of Muir and Connor and keep the pressure on the officials until it happens.

Monkspath Miko

“And then it goes” could be him referring to the jersey pull ending. Just giving an alternative thought….

Andy MacArthur

Never thought I’d see the day where I would say well done to Willie Collum. He didn’t make any excuses and addressed the mistake, openly admitting it. Night and day compared to Maxwells comments yesterday. The thing that stands out to me in the audio is the panic and rushed tone of the VAR refs. They were very keen to rush past it and get the free kick taken. Why such a rush? The game is already at ET, at this point in the game decision making is crucial. Neither should be allowed to referee in the top flight again.

Allan

We all know the club will do nothing. We'll probably be thrown a VAR bone in a few weeks when it won't change the league outcome. Scottish football is a bust. This is simply cheating.

John James Peebles

Genk vs. Anderlecht VAR error reviewed and then went to appeal, game was forced to be replayed. We can’t settle for anything less than that. Google it you’ll find the article.

Paul Holst

You’re spot on about the ‘language’ used in the VAR room. The other red flag is how quickly they moved on - why not analyse it properly?

David Hanlon

Simply they did not want to give Rangers a penalty at that stage of the game. If it had happened in the first half we would have got a penalty. My job is safety critical and if I make a mistake as big as that I would be sacked on the spot.

William Alston

Rangers statement like an open goal for dessers

Lee

They are either corrupt ( no matter the motivation if it's fear) or more likely absolute incompetence and not knowing the laws of the game.

chris smith

Golum’s explanation is baffling. The position of the attacker is irrelevant in a shirt pulling situation now … whit? So the attacker is in the box, the defender is not, specifically his shirt-pulling hand does not bisect the pen box line (the shirt is stretchy) … no pen if the fouling hand is outside the box …. talk about making it up as they go along …

David Campbell

We will get a decision at Ibrox in a few weeks and that'll be it levelled up🙄

Allan

That's great Wullie. What will the history books read?

stephen

David, I genuinely think this is proof on tape of cheating. Simple as that.

John Smith

If the club don’t act now, they’re officially spineless for life until we get new owners

Andrew Miller

Off topic but is there any truth in the Umbro kit rumour for next season?

Glen Kane

I don't know how they can expect people to spend thousands of pounds following the club every season if they're happy to be cheated out of trophies each year..

CRAIG CASSELLS

David, on the audio it is very clear that there is someone in the background saying "that's a penalty". Surely that person should have been more insistent with the VAR officials as to why he believes a penalty should be awarded. Was he hushed up?

Jim Bennett

It's not a blunder, not an error, not a mistake, this is deliberate cheating.

David Baillie

The VAR pair sound like chipmunks on speed. Compared to the measured and considered discussions you hear between the referee and the TMO officials during a rugby match the VAR exchanges are rushed and amateurish. How difficult would it be to roll out a similar system in football for televised games. Is it possibly because the SFA don’t want people to know how bad our officials are? Embarrassing yet again. No wonder we’re regarded as a Micky Mouse football nation. A laughing stock.

Gregor Anderson

I hate this but I can say anything else. It's cheating. Can't prove it as you say Davie but also your quite correct they need to go.

Tamus

CHEATS

Baz

Daily Update every day over Christmas or we riot.

Scott Scobbie

Confirmation of what we all knew but our reply in that statement is pathetic

John Marshall

Huge credit to Collum here for me. For him to do Muir and Connor so publicly, especially to mention Connor doing paperwork, I think shows his level of anger at what they've done. He knows they simply didn't want to give that, there's no other rational explanation how they make that decision, but he has to take their explanation at face value. So his only option is to do what he did in that video, which is absolutely destroy their competence in as professional manner as possible, leaving them wide open for Rangers to demand their removal from refereeing duties. I've not spoken to another person since Sunday who doesn't think that's a penalty. For the only 2 people on earth who didn't think it was one, to both be the VAR officials? Hell of a slice of bad luck eh...

Charles Thomson

They are simply ignoring what their eyes are seeing, trying to quickly move on...

Douglas Innes

I think Collum comes across very honest and very annoyed that a simple decision has been missed and so openly missed , I don't think any fan would want any of the VAR officials doing their clubs games against Rangers as any contentious given it will because they f*cked up in the final similarly across the city any decision given against them it will be said " that's only given because they f*cked up in the final " so id say its the end of Muir totally and the end of O'Connor in our big games ..... In the youtube video Collum looks very pissed off about it to be honest and annoyed

IAN OGILVY

Davie, your summary is excellent but it’s even more telling about the speed of that decision. It’s not an error, blunder or mistake. It’s not an interpretation of rules. The speed of it is a blatant corrupt intentional decision to rob Rangers.

Stephen Miller

I have zero trust in the officiating within Scottish football, it has been compromised. Collum can begin by removing these two individuals from officiating professional games within Scotland. The entire system is designed to facilitate the success of one club, enough is enough.

Stephen

First time I have felt we have been genuinely cheated in a game. Usually I can accept a mistake or incompetence as being accidental but this time it’s blatant. Unfortunately nothing will happen except we will probably get a soft penalty when we are 4-0 at the weekend and that will be talked about all next week instead and this will be forgotten by everyone except us.

George D

So, they rushed the decision and got it wrong. The club should go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and force the SFA to replay the game, especially since it's been proven by the head of referees that they got it wrong. Replay the match. It's been done before.

Steffen McAndrew

I keep saying it. This is a howler on its own. But add it on to all the other examples and it spells corruption.

CRAIG CASSELLS

I don't know if it is Beaton but would be shocked if it was. For him to shout penalty and then not clear up with VAR why they think differently is nothing short of disgraceful. At the very least I'd expect him to go to the monitor just to ease his own mind.

Robert White

100%. 5 VAR errors so far this season vs us. Scottish Cup final goal for us. League Cup Final 2019. Im not straying into speculation or judgement or the league games: facts no-one disagrees with. 3 trophies in 5 years "errors"?No,cheating.

Neil

Celtic have spent *decades* building the narrative that any time Rangers get a pen, it's a fraud that's down to cheating masonic officials. I would go so far to say that for most non-rangers fans it has become accepted wisdom that there's a giant anti-Celtic conspiracy and if one or two of these go Celitc's way, that's "Justice". It's going to take a similar amount of sustained effort to reverse that narrative.

Bryan Watson

That VAR audio is genuinely out of this world. BBC should see if they can just have it on repeat for 25 minutes or so on Hogmany as a substitute for Only an Excuse 😂. Rangers statement yet again is piss poor and pretty weak when we know that if the shoe was on the other foot, there would be strikes and heavy action demanded. Maybe Stewart and Thorton are not wanting to burn bridges with people they will inevitably work with over the years, starting the relationship with an immediate "I owe you" and maybe fear about being in the door 2 seconds and bringing the game into disrepute. Would disagree with this because this was an opportunity for the new club heirarchy to stomp this out and mark a change in tone but seems like more of the same. Once more our strategic communications and PR leave a lot to be desired.

Jim Milne

I want to give credit to Collum but this is the guy who thought Alistair Johnson punching the ball was fine, in a season where every handball was a penalty. Didn't mention offside at the time as per Kris Boyd & Neil Lennon who heard the VAR audio. Only to come up with the offside 30 minutes later. Why didn't we get to hear that audio publicly? Muir, Connor & Collum. All 2 cheeks of the same cheating arse.

Simon William smith

Thy audio is an absolute disgrace. A mistake, how many mistakes do they continue to make to the benefit of one team and one team only? Rangers should be hammering them for this. It’s blatant cheating and the whole VAR team should be out of work.

Grant Spy

“and then it goes…” He cheated. End of discussion. The trailing off of that sentence is the most damning thing without question. I am not one for conspiracies or claims of never ending bias. Not on this occasion.

Robert White

Annoyed it was so obvious? Who was the ref when Johnson literally punched the ball out the box on camera to stop Sima bearing in on goal at Parkhead last season?

Colin Gardner

Sorry I'm not accepting this. Holding your hands up and apologising isn't good enough. Conner and Muir cheated 100%. It's OK for everyone coming out now saying it was a pen. Horse and stable door and all that. Foreign refs now or we will be fucked for ever.

Brian Imrie

That’s why Celtic fans can’t just say they got away with one, they will find any reason to say it wasnt a penalty so that they continue with the agenda that we get everything and they get nothing. Admitting it means they can’t go back to that next time inevitably we get a decision against them

Glyn Davies

So I agree with David on reinforcing the spine......a CB, a CM & another striker is a must......if we can offload Dessers, Dowell & Matondo in Jan to free up some money for transfers & lower the wage bill further that would be a great start. Go for Shankland & Lyle Cameron on pre contracts (striker/MF covered) find a really decent CB (even on loan) & I'd still push for Ryan Kent on a free on 18 months contract max......3 out of the 4 don't fit the player trading model but they would come in & hit the ground running & we could still have money to spend on a couple of project players for the future. I'd also like to see a slew of the older B team players go out on loan until the summer to get much needed competitive football (Fraser, McKinnon, King, Lowry, Rice etc) keep Lovelace around the senior team for attacking depth & potentially a new contract.......if only football was as simple in real life eh

Robert White

I am utterly unconvinced by Collums explanation. Its cheating. Its very well rehearsed detailed explanation of nothing. It was a penalty. Not one person says it isnt. The camera shows the penalty. The VAR team gsve the decision they wanted to give. Accountability would be a replay, with 2 sackings.

Alastair Thomson Mills

We cannot get a cup that was rightly ours. But we can now demand fairness in all future old firm games.

Douglas Innes

Mate I'm annoyed that McLean called Collum over to review O'Riley kicking diomandes calf and falling over and getting a penalty for doing so

Robert White

They saw the same video and stills as you.. but viewed through their professional ref lens. Foot in the box. Penalty. Holding in the box. Penalty. They gave the decision they wanted.

Andy Fullen

Would love to know what the Assistant Referee made of it all. No blame for Beaton with the angle he was at, but the Assistant Referee was literally 10 yards away square on looking at it. Does he not have a say in this kind of situation? As for the VARSholes - incompetence doesn’t cut it - cheating bastards pure and simple.

Neil Fox

You cheated You lied Your boss has ripped you a new one on a public forum That's a sacking offence Look at it from the refs point. Would you want to work with them as part of your team and have to rely on them to have your back

Bluelacoste

Said at the time, Beaton took the easy option and was never going to give a pen on the field unless VAR told him to. And for all these moon howlers who are trying to say we should have had at least 3 players sent off, clearly haven’t a grip on reality. Jeez the only big booking I think he missed was Ralston on Hagi when he waved play on with the advantage for us and didn’t go back to book him for the late tackle.

HammerHead

Is Hagi out of contract in the summer and if he is would you offer him a new one or try and sell him in January .

David Innes

Collum’s response has been much stronger than I was expecting. Maybe he is actually taking his job seriously after all? Gives me some slight hope that we can expect fairer treatment in the future although I’m not going to be holding my breath.

Ryan Stewart

I think we need to give Collum credit for how he’s responded to this. The club on the other hand, absolutely pathetic yet again. No mention of the fact this isn’t the first cup final this year we’ve had game changing decisions go against us, and that’s before you get to the other decisions on disallowed goals in other games against them. Nothing about the VAR officials and how they should no longer be officiating games, in particular games involving Rangers and Celtic. No mention of the fact that’s now at least 5 penalties that the VAR panel has ruled we should have been given after review and the one we got against us shouldn’t have been, all before Xmas. We’ve rolled over and had our belly’s tickled yet again

Mark Harvey

Whether Sundays debacle was down to incompetency or cheating it's yet more evidence that we can't continue without full time officials. The SFA should be targeting talented teenage refs and offering a career path. The chance to travel the world is at their doorstep if they become proficient enough. In my opinion the only way that happens is if it becomes a full time vocation. Not a hobby. We can't keep kicking the can down the road on this one.

Ian Hunter

So give Rangers a cup winning decision and get a weekend off at Christmas, where donI sign up. Get them sacked or at least never to be involved in Rangers or them games again.

Colin Carstairs

Laughable that Maxwell came out yesterday & stated that he hasn’t had any complaints Re Var all season… Stuart Kettlewell did a few weeks back about the non award of a stonewall pen. Hide & seek champion is Mr Maxwell. The statement the club has subsequently put out today for me is weak & it’s one of many reasons we are treated with such distain within Scottish football at these levels. Didn’t expect an all guns blazing statement but a more robust one would of been a given. One to show the fans some leadership & to put us on the front foot should have been a simple one for me.

Latimer

The audio sounds like a group of Celtic fans discussing the issue during the game and group think convincing themselves of nothing to worry about. Corruption nothing less.

Peter Hosie

A big bhoy done it and ran away

William Noble

Being on var they can keep rewatching the incident

James Kenny

The SFA's body of referees is completely compromised. This is down to a combination of factors: intimidation, inherent bias and fear of Celtic and their various agencies within Scotland. It predates VAR and has been apparent for years. John Beaton's performance v Hibs was what, 8 years ago. I've sat at Ibrox at times and genuinely wandered if we'll ever be allowed to win a game against them. There's an old saying in Boxing: ' you'll have to knock them out to get a draw', never a truer word.

William Noble

All we require is a totally unbiased decision

mark wyper

I agree with you David they should both be sacked there is no way back for them and why should other clubs have to put up with them officiating at their matches surely that's not fair either.

Niall MacKay

I'm afraid I can't take Collum's words seriously. They also completely ignored the pulling on Raskin during the Scottish Cup Final when finding an excuse to chalk off our goal. We didn't have VAR in the League Cup Final of 2019 but three Celtic players stayed offside for almost a full minute to make that decision simple. This is a pattern now and they were all completely unacceptable decisions. That's about four domestic penalties we've had denied that the review has told us should have been given. It's an absolute scandal.

Tom

This is what happens when you order your VAR Team off Temu.

Robert Deavy

Muir and OConnor will be removed/suspended for 2 weeks only from duties This decision has already taken place today

Graeme Campbell

In European leagues they have a camera in the VAR room. It's all well and good hearing the audio but how do we know they're even looking at it. Cameras watching them while making decisions would surelt help make it fairer overall

Stephen

Agreed. It’s a shambles that amateurs are making these decisions at this level. I know it’s would be expensive but they need to find the money somewhere. Could probably scrap giving out prize money for winning the league and redirect the money towards referees as a start. Everyone knows the real prize money comes from the chance of getting into Europe anyway.

William Ross

It really was the equivalent of 'move on, nothing to see here' from the VAR team

Dick The Trick

I sincerely hope the club are going to come out swinging here. We need to demand a replay (even if we won’t get it) and expect accountability and actions. The time is now to switch the narrative from the ‘penalty to Rangers’ pish we’ve had to listen to for years. Enough is enough

Graham Roy

We will never know as now he will say he wasn’t sure if it was in the box. Var rightly will take the full blame.

David

They cheated pure and simple

Allan Osborne

A replay or at the very least the match being declared null and void is what we have to demand. We can't be letting this go or it will happen again and again as it has been for the last few seasons. And foreign officials for games v them as it's clear the Scottish ones are at the very least compromised (if not worse).

@bluebeans

Although unlikely I admit, if this was a isolated, very bad day at the office I could maybe roll my eyes and think, what a day for that to happen, but it isn’t and I believe that’s getting lost here. For goodness sake there is another huge moment in the very same game before we even start trawling through the last two years. Hugely disappointed with the club statement.

stefan strzelecki

Well said David. Agree with your interpretation 100%. The governing body should dismiss these individuals from their duties, likewise , the club need to pursue this action , as recognition of resolving our grievance. .

Dougie

I’m sorry guys but if it looks like a cheat, acts like a cheat………..

Latimer

No one will ever convince me or any other Rangers fan that if this incident happened at the other end the VAR scrutiny would have taken 20 secs.

Latimer

The very chap for a cup final between the old firm, him and Muir who thought Casey's tackle on MacCausland last season wasn't even a foul.

Jason Allan

Maxwell only pops up when we raise an issue. Interesting. We know it’s corruption, Celtic fans in positions like the VAR role, corruption. Pattern of assistance against us is so evident now.

Hendi

They saw what they wanted to see. Co-signed their own bullshit with their leading question. Did the audio from the Johston handball last season ever get released? The SFA never distributed that as per normal to their Refs, I was told by a Grade 1 official at the time. I know Rangers got to hear it, but that would be interesting to hear and what lessons were ever learned from that.

Simon Botterill

It's cheating. The Club's statement is shameful, we are cowards. Embarrassed by our club's constant refusal to stop Celtic bullying us and this league however they wish. Shame on us, Scottish football is lawless

JimGLW

No issue with what Collum said. But bottom line is that we've been done over badly again to benefit celtic. I want Rangers to go nuclear.

Derek Stevenson

The VAR audio concludes that they don’t know what to say next. They have to say “and then it goes inside the area”. So nothing said is cheating. I don’t take anything from Collum on this one. He is part of the problem. He was an incompetent and chaotic type ref, self centred also. This VAR piece is also a bit self centred albeit good to hear the communication now. But this incident isn’t isolated. It’s a catalogue now. And Collum was part of a VAR protocol incident involving us v them that was lies and an opportune offside that got him off the hook. That day he didn’t want to give handball vs Johnston. He found images later of Sima being “offside” and used it to dig an escape. Muir / Chonnor have no escape. They should be sacked. Rangers should insist on it. Rangers should seek to have Collum removed further down the line, by the start of next season ideally.

Billy Forrester

Blatant cheating. They did it because Connor is a Celtic fan and clearly wanted them to win. He is an ex chair of a CSC, he is a cheating biased wank who should be sacked immediately This leaves a bad taste

Maca82

Hard to tell for certain if they are in a blind panic or simply interrupted enjoying a few Magners with the Rebs on, either way and I jest; compare and contrast to the audio from the English games a professional workplace? No easy solution but it’s prob as simple as the manager next time Connor or Muir are on duty for a game (probs new year old firm) name checking them in the press conference as a major concern for the fans. It’s what they do along with ten year old pics of refs in pubs etc. it shouldn’t be like that but our diplomacy is being laughed at by Maxwell.

Brian Rae

Ignoring the basic rules points to something far more sinister than simple incompetence. The trip on Diomande and all the other recent decisions that have been made in these games must also now be highlighted. It's happening in literally every game that's close. The club statement appears weak but they better be doing work behind the scenes as anything less and the support will not accept it. On positions, 1 or 2 CBs, CM and striker. I would also like a winger but I'm aware we're not even getting half of what I've asked for.

Mr Ritchie

I know it's not the same sport but anytime I've heard rugby officials discuss a TMO decision it's clear and concise, the total opposite of what we heard today which was like a bunch of 10 year olds quickly trying to find an excuse before the teacher caught them up to no good.

Tom

Don't know about STV but the BBC didn't play the VAR clip, then people wonder why H&H is so popular? Because David and the team don't hide anything from the support, even the negative stuff about the club.

Douglas Mcgregor

Well done david The club need to calm out the then it goes part They need sacked for gross misconduct It’s actually match fixing

Dave Finnie

This moment as horrible and gutting as it is HAS to be maximised to our benefit. There are too many instances that have gone by and been brushed under the carpet. We need strong leadership and a concerted push on governance of our game - stiff upper lip has taken us nowhere - but this does feel different. While the league is probably gone, we have to force our narrative now.

Paul Kerr

You always sum things up really well David. This more than any decision previously just hasn't sat well with me. I am convinced that this was blatant cheating. Collum's refereeing past is irrelevant, in my opinion he is being as strong as he can be, which is all we can ask of him in his new role.

Alan Colligan

Thought his explanation was pretty clear tbh. The position of Cerny's foot is irrelevant in this case. If he'd been tripped (ie the foul was on his foot) then that would be the position to focus on. Either way, he's clearly fouled inside the box and we were shafted.

Heart and Hand

With onfield subjective decisions there is always, whether we agree or not, room for debate. Not with matters of fact on a television screen with multiple angles.

Dougie McAllister

Plenty said about non penalty incident but Diomonde being taken out at their 3 goal is also a terrible miss from the VAR room.... also should have been highlighted by us....

Steven Harvey

On Collum - he sent me off years ago in a Junior Derby match and I thought he was an utter nob! I met him in October outside Hampden and we got talking. I couldn’t believe how personable he was and he was well aware of what team I follow. It was actually very interesting speaking to him and totally changed my opinion of him. It was just after the Souttar pen v Hibs and the Lawrence goal in the same game. He spoke very highly of Clement which I found interesting 🤔

David Clark

Absolute corruption from both VAR officials.

Robert White

The VAR clip may not be the full conversation. See other threads re missing 30 seconds.

Robert White

30 seconds missing from VAR David? The Tv coverage now showing the clip on Diomande? Games a bogey. Its done unlesd we go ballistic. Dont be reasonable when we are being cheated. Scottish Football is being cheated.

8luenose1872

I knew going into that game with the trophy count that went with it that we would get screwed on at least one major decision, probably like many other bears, so just hoped we would overcome it and what do you know it happens just like predicted. I know our officials are poor but i also believe some of them are as biased as they come and others are petrified to give anything against that lot. Lets hope the hype of this one changes things coz that mhanky mob will go on trying to get unfair advantages coz they somehow think they are due it.

8luenose1872

Ur 100% correct David, i posted on a rangers group after i heard it that it was obvious that u can tell mid sentence when he realised it was a penalty then just forced his version down the rests throats and none of them had the bottle or will to speak up. It wouldn't surprise me if they know hes corrupt and released the audio to out him so they can sack him but thats wishful thinking and unlikely, its just strange when they do this type of thing, they usually protect them at all costs.

Kenneth Mackay

David I know you will appreciate this reference. That’s what they call a Smoking Gun of a tape!

Graham Leatherbarrow

Perhaps Callum should review 6 of last 7 games v them, the conclusion is very clear, it’s never been bad decisions both ways just horror decisions against us

Stephen Fraser

That audio is absolutely gutting man. Granted, we've sold the jerseys over the years since coming back, but they've had so many seriously dodgy, game changing, title deciding decisions. I thought I'd started getting over that game so that didn't help.

David Wylie

Call it bias or outright cheating that audio is like celtic fans trying to talk themselves into believing its a freekick outside the box and seeing what they want to see, shocking.
