Thanks guys great podcasts throughout the year as always 👏,for all at H&H have a nice Xmas 👍 😀

Ken

Feel a bit sorry for Dessers. Fans should never boo a Gers player coming on the park. When was the last time that happened?

Stephen

Yeah, it’s an embarrassment. Not sure what people think that will achieve.

Alan Stewart

Thanks for the fantastic content over the last 12 months guys and girls. Wishing everyone at H&H and the community a Merry Christmas when it arrives

ian laird

Great listen gents, love the memories. I could listen to every fans favorite memories for days on end. Just love hearing them all and what they mean to that person. My favorite memory is definitely Parma. However I knew the night of Leipzig even watching it on the TV that it eclipsed that night. It's funny too, I got the same goosebumps watch the Leipzig game when Lundstram scored as I did being at Ibrox for big games and memories. Last time I was there was 20 odd years ago when Kenny Miller scored 5 against St. Mirren. Can't wait to be back next August and bring my family. I'm going staying outside the stadium until close to kick off to soak it all up then staying after full-time as long as I can. I want the wife and daughters first time in Ibrox to be memorable as my first time. Merry Christmas gents.

Stephen

I know we have all given Clement a tough time this season but I don’t doubt his commitment to making this work. He is definitely trying to build something for the future. Hope everyone has a great Christmas.

“I think the subscribers paid technically…!” 😀 Thanks Adam 👍

My concern with the appointment of CEO is whether he gets the power to make the decisions he needs to. I suspect we’re maybe going to get more of the same, with a new face there to act as a firewall for the same faces on the board. I’m even more concerned that they have talked about filling it with local guys after a year, which sounds like Graeme Park filling it up with his cronies. That’s not a fresh start, it ‘s simply setting up a puppet show and the dame idiots pulling the strings. The real truth will come in who is making the decisions and who is really in charge. That will only become obvious after a year or so, maybe longer. What the CEO said is he will run it day to day, but the bad decisions weren’t made on a day to day basis, they were strategically made in the boardroom. P.S. The heritage top should be binned, because we keep looking back instead of looking forward. We’re slowly becoming one of these 80’s nostalgic discos that are held during the day because those who attend them want to get to their beds early. We were once forward looking, ironically when we wore an Umbro strip, but now we find that all we get are old retro strips with no imaginations anymore designing strips. When we first wore the cycling top kit back in 1987 it was new and different, not something we wore in 1964. This is the problem with the brand right now. It was understandable when we first came back into the top division, but it’s tiring now ands needs rethinking. Patrick Stewart and Fraser Thornton have some experience in brand development, so we’ll see if they can spot a new space that moves the club forward again, instead of looking back with dewy eyes.

Danilo and Cerny played together in the Netherlands. There's a YouTube video compilation of them linking up very well together.

Merry Christmas guys My fav memories is of Ibrox my first game which was against the sheep , won 1-0 late 90s and all we sang was Simpson gtf And of course leipzig

In the ups and downs of being a Rangers supporter H&H has been a beacon of common sense and it tells the truth. Thanks for being there this last year. Lost my Dad in May and he was a big fan of the Daily Update show. Our favourite Ibrox memory has to be the Gazza hat trick v the sheep we always spoke about that virtuoso performance with such fondness. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas 🎄🎁...

Cameron Bell

Sorry for your loss Stephen, think of you and the family this Christmas ❤️ Cammy

Great show guys. I'm 54 went to my first game when I was 5, getting lifted over the turnstile with my Parker pockets filled with cans of beer! I still love walking up the stairs and seeing the park appear. I have loads of brilliant memories with my Dad going to Ibrox which is very emotional and will never leave me. Leipzig will never be beaten but Stuttgart twice,Porto (3-2 game) and Goughs equaliser against that lot run it close. Let's put it this way we have more brilliant memories than bad and I hope that continues. Have a great Christmas everyone❤️

Colin Kennedy

Great comments at the end David about Ibrox being a leveller and safe space for whatever might be going on in life. We all have so many challenges but I always know I can leave my baggage outside 🔴⚪️🔵.

Kiev Parma Leeds Marseille Legia (wee man’s first proper Euro experience) And of course Liepzig - the best of them all

paul wallace

The game you talked about v Dundee utd I think was my 3rd game David , first being against Dundee and we got beat 1.0 and 2nd was against them with a 4-4 , that's when I got totally sucked in and never looked back. Leipzig was amazing along with Kiev many years ago . Merry Christmas guys to you and your families,

Michael

B.Munich '72 and when we beat #3tic 3-2 having been 2 down at half time 💙💙💙

Charles McIntyre

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all on the Heart and Hand Team. Your podcasts make my long walks and dish washing much more pleasant.

James

Let’s be honest. We all criticised Cerny and Igamane earlier in the season. I’m glad they are proving me wrong now. Excellent attitudes.

Ross

For me, it was more of an individual performance rather than a team or stadium memory that is my fondest memory of Ibrox. Gazza HT v Aberdeen to win 8iar. Outstanding
