Colin and David go over a poor result in Paisley.

Comments

Gary Shaw

Not much can be said that hasn’t already….Just a really, really bad group of footballers…

Steve Stewart

Get him out. He won’t go. Repeat.

Alan Baxter

Is it just me that thinks the ref had a heavy influence on the first half. We might not be on it but constant decisions to interrupt our play

Peter Hosie

Apparently the manager said if Raskin got booked he’d miss Jan 2 but the RTV commentator saying it doesn’t kick in for 2 weeks, any clarification? Why the manager didn’t start Danilo over Bajrami was poor poor management.

Gareth Williams

Thanks Rangers. Once again I started to hope only to be faced with a return to type. When are we EVER going to get our act together!!🤬 Merry Xmas everyone, hopefully next year is better!

Thomas

It's been said many times on the podcast that once the fans are at this point he can go on a good run (which he has) but the first bad result like tonight and it's back to square one. He simply can't win the fans back now unless he wins the league. It isn't happening

Simon H&H

It is the two week thing. Someone has gave the manager duff advice. How very Rangers.

conor docherty

Apathy, that’s all I feel about this club, it’s punishes you for daring to have a bit of hope.

Ayden Bell

The manager has to go, that’s 8 away games and we’re on -1 goal difference and 10 points. Regardless of circumstances that is unacceptable, even if you concede this is probably the worst squad we’ve assembled in the top flight!

Jim McCutcheon

The team aren't good enough we all know it let's be honest, and Clement isn't the awnser but unfortunately we are stuck with them both, just my opinion, thanks guys

David Innes

Won’t need to bother getting nervous about the Old firm game then - it’s now a dead rubber. Grim

Jim Milne

The reality is apart from some solid results when he came in as manger, our away form for the last 12 months has been atrocious. He still hasn't worked out how to beat jobber teams in the SPFL. Buckle up, the board won't take action and the rest of the season will be the same ups and downs. Then likely finish 20 odd points behind in 2nd place.

Jim Milne

So he legit dropped Raskin and the reasons he gave were not accurate?

james whyte

Season completely over before the bells. Clements away domestic record must be appaling! Every single time in the last few months we have said that Clement must win the next 2,or has to beat such and such...we dont. Enough. It is not working.

Bryan Watson

2 strikers was working and can understand the need for rotation however performance was abject. In hindsight you keep Kelly in, don't imagine Butland has had much rest last few days with a newborn + 2 young kids at Christmas. Bad result but I've always said that I would rather young players like Sterling, Jefte, Igamane, Diomande, Barron were playing because they'll improve even though they will have stinkers. Today for me is one of those days. Have to get 2 CBs and a striker in Jan. Feel we are 5 players away from being a good team, 2 CB, ST, LW, DM. Beyond anger because this is just where we are at. Onto the next one

Stuart Saunders

The fact that we can’t even do the basic things in this league like win games against St Mirren is depressing 😔 Yet again we’ve managed to take all the pressure off Celtic by falling flat on our faces 🤦‍♂️ they’ll be walking into the old firm game next week care free and relaxed - and we all know how that ends

Gordon Smith

I think today's on the manager but happy to hear an alternative. Why is Butland in the squad when he's just had a new baby and why are we rotating for an awkward away fixture?

Jim Milne

I still don't think the squad as terrible as results show. Everytime we lose the ball we end up 2 against 1 for the opposition because of the way Clement sets us up. He sets us up with no real pace to recover and that's why we constantly lose counter attack goals. His tactics would work better if he had wingers than can run back, but he continues to play the tactics that need pacy wingers without pacy wingers.

Andrew Hind

Season done, and we can't clear out these losers as who would want them,it's depressing

james whyte

Cheers for taking the time out today to do this pod guys.👍

John Jamieson

Honestly butland should be dropped with that performance

David Innes

It’s not but I remain convinced if we do bin him it needs to be a caretaker appointment until the end of the season

KMc

You called it weeks ago, David. We’ll go on a run then revert to the mean. Utterly depressing the situation we are in. We need change.

Jim Milne

Thanks Andy. I didn't know the official stats. 14 out of 39 is terrible form.

David Innes

There are good players in the squad - the problem is the squad building has been so bad that we can’t make a good team out of them

james whyte

No issue with that. Give the new C.E.O a bit of time to get a plan in place, look about, see who is interested etc...but we can't just keep going the way we are.

Michael Adamson

Should be the manager's Waterloo. Ridiculous to change from the attacking team that was winning us games. Win it, then rest your first choices, not that pedestrian nonsense we saw in the first half.

Neil

To be fair it’s a dead rubber game and there will be no pressure on our players either.

littleboyblu

Got gastric flu and feel the worst I’ve ever felt in my life and I’m still not sure which is worse, the flu bug or watching Rangers right now. They never fail to f@*k it up just when you think they’ve turned the corner with some decent performances lately. What was Butland thinking about with the penalty. Kelly needs a wee run of games. Butland can’t think he’s undroppable. Look how complacent Tav got.

mark wyper

I'm just sick of it now

Alan Baxter

Not really sure how you change things. So many people from executives, managers and players that aren’t of the right standard of attitude

Kirk Guthrie

Absolutely fucking awful game today. No one wanted it, players anonymous, referee apparently decided shirt pulls aren't fouls, dessers fucking useless as usual

Linda Mackay

Can’t even listen to the manager or any of the players. A hopeless and depressing state of affairs! Where do we go from here? As fans we can’t do anymore, we go to the games, buy the merchandise, etc, etc but when do we get something in return. Truly awful situation.

Gary Shaw

The majority of them are bog standard and that’s being kind…We would struggle to mould a good defender out of all of them….middle to front, our basic 5/10yd passes are atrocious and that’s nothing to do with playing wingers or how many players we leave back at set pieces ,that’s just players not being good at the most basic of tasks….The players that are tasked with breaking teams down are absolutely rotten (Hagi,Bahraini,Diomande and Cerny) they’re all so clunky and none of them have the power or pace to be a good footballer.

Gordon Watson

Our problems are deep and fundamental. We need a complete overhaul of our player development and player development pathway. We need to be aggressively investing money into homegrown player development so that we are able to sell players at all levels as well as identify and promote local talent into the first team environment. The local market is cut off to us because of the ability of the other clubs to get good prices for players elsewhere. We’re priced out of the English market and it remains to be seen how effective we are in non-traditional markets. That leaves our own player development production line as the only market we have control over. That means the scouting department becomes equally important in identifying local talent and talent in non-traditional markets that give us bang for our buck. Right now, for one reason or another, the balance of this squad is totally skewed and it needs review and reconfigured asap. We keep getting the same pattern of foreign players coming into the club, showing up for a Big Game European Football Safari Adventure, then failing to represent in the Scottish domestic matches. We’d be better putting £4M into player development than spending it on players like Sam Lammers or Cyrille Dessers. Thats the pragmatic response, my emotional response to the performance and result is that like everyone else I am thoroughly fed up, 55 should have signalled a return to competitiveness, instead it look like nothing more than an anomaly. Watching Propper telegram instructions to Sterling on how to get robbed on the ball was peak Rangers. We could’ve lost this game 3-1.

Colin Walker

1 upfront away to St Mirren is shambolic, we start with a £6M striker on our bench to play a 4-5-1. Go all out attack and don’t let them out, pathetic tactics

Colin Walker

Correct, and do that every game and the squad will be fresher, kill the intensity early in games. We always seem to overthink selections

Doogz

This is just the way things will be under Clement a guy out of his depth, a squad of freeloaders not fit to wear the shirt. Clement was in Scotland long enough to realise strengths a CH needed to perform week in week out, what made him think Propper was the answer? Then we sign the only Albanian who dosent have a set of balls. Jack Butland for being rated as a top keeper has his share of howlers, what was going through his mind tonight only he knows. Only player I would be sad to see us lose is Raskin and that’s a sad state of affairs.

David Angus

Football is so Athletic nowadays and we have too many who are flimsy and / or too slow (Propper, Cerny, Diomande, Tav, Yilmaz, Hagi, Bajrami, Dessers). Massive factor in why we are so easy to play against cos we don't batter teams physically or play at a relentless pace teams can't cope with. Something we did both of when we won the league (no coincidence).

John Cunningham

Time to pull the trigger on this clown, we should be passing the ball around teams like that. No Leadership on the park,. Both full backs are rotten and dropping Propper for a Sterling is embarrassing. If we can cash in on Butland im January I'd do it and give Kelly the jersey. 😡😡😡

Peter Hosie

David on his aftermatch video reckons the manager was right but I still don’t know

David Innes

If they were that bad we’d be getting humiliated in Europe- biggest problem for me is not enough of them are suited to Scottish football where physicality and pace are arguably more important than technical ability

Craig

The worst of it is, I just feel numb. Wasn't in the least surprised at the last minute goal, was almost expecting it. Barely even annoyed, I just switched the screen off and went on with my night.

Fraser86

The ref booked dio for that block but there big cb fraser did it blatantly to igmane and nothing? In the same game 2 different decisions weird 🤔, not that it mattered

David Innes

Case and point - Maeda is a one trick pony with pace who would be a no hoper in a top 5 league but is capable running the show here

David

Cant think of any other manager who has got away with dropping so many points, we have had a good month or so but if we lose against celtic then thats 15 points behind in January

Jim Milne

Clement's words after the game about having a good last 2 months confused the hell out of me. Like you say 1 good month that included a final loss is a damning insight into our season.

8luenose1872

The fist sign of him getting a bit of leeway he goes back to a one up front long ball game to start the match. Surely every fan can see that hes nowhere near the level we need for a Rangers manager. Im actually utterly disgusted the more time passes after that game that he changed that front line that was working. And hes not got the ability to coach a defence coz we get stung with the same scoolboy shite constantly. How a professional manager cant combat hopeful long punts up the park is actually pathetic. This is becoming utter negligence from the club to let him away with this.

Stace1ofthePeople

Is there a more depressing hobbie than supporting rangers? I'm actually at the stage where i am turning the telly off and stopping watching as it's so hard to watch. Butlands tackle was absolutely wild. A proper wtf moment. As soon as st mirren got the penalty I had flashbacks to Calvin bassey giving away a penalty (not sure what team maybe ross county or st mirren) and I'm positive we dropped points that night. It had the exact same feel about it and I knew we were dropping points. We can't turn up for 45 mins and expect to win. Don't think the manager started the best team but I also think we should he able to rotate to a certain extent and not drop off a cliff. Far too often we find ourselves in this position. No idea how to improve or get out the mess we are in. Proper shit time being a gers fan 💔

David P

He's not the man. During the Spurs game and cup final I actually thought to myself we actually looked like a team that was coached. Then I thought hang on a minute, we're in December. Over a year into him in the job. I shouldn't be impressed by the fact that we look like a team that's coached for a change ffs!!!

Gordon Smith

One of Clements problems is he's too clever for his own good in all honesty. Worrying about red zones and weird potential suspensions. Just fucking win the game in front of you.

David Innes

Same - the fact I’m still planning on watching Match of the Day rather than going to bed in a huff is a worrying sign of apathy setting in.

Martes

There’s a fair chance the next two games will decide the manager’s fate. It won’t really change anything in the long-term. If it’s Klopp or Guardiola next, they’re still doomed to fail with the complete lack of infrastructure at the club to support them. I hope Patrick Stewart has been given a free remit to make the changes he deems fit to make Rangers successful again. I’m just sceptical about that with dead weights like the Parks still lingering in the background.

8luenose1872

Ur having a laugh aye? No pressure, they havent beat this mob in how long? They are under pressure alright, ibrox will soon let them know that my friend.

Gary Shaw

We don’t have pace, power or technical ability though….We were good against Spurs but the other European games this season, the opposition have been garbage apart from Lyon and they humped us…..Sick of this patter about “not suited for Scottish football “….If you can’t pass 10yds or continuously make wrong choices that’s just lack of quality…that’s the basics of being a footballer and we have far too many players that seem incapable of doing it.

JimGLW

Under Clement we'll win most domestic games. And lose any tricky ones. How anyone hasn't cottoned onto that is mental.

Jim Milne

"We don’t have pace, power or technical ability" Yet, Clement sets the team up with tactics for players that have all those attributes, but the players he has at his disposal don't. In hindsight maybe I should have said the squad aren't world beaters but I believe with different tactics, formation, etc we would be harder to beat and be able to put teams like St. Mirren to the sword. We play high up the field and are always only 2 passes away from being cut open without the pace and power to get back and defend.

Gary Shaw

Trust me I want the manager gone but this group of players aren’t doing anything to make his job easier…..their decision making and sheer inability to make a basic pass that could lead to a goal or really good chance is astonishing….1 or 2 bits of quality at the top end of the pitch would be a massive help….Depending on guys like Hagi and Bahjrami etc to open doors is a really bad position to be in.

David Docherty

Today was a sore one. After the Dundee performance they needed to raise it but they regressed further and returned to type. Change is required

SC81

Absolute madness to cross balls from 35 yards into a box full of hammer throwers. We played football for 20 minutes and made half a dozen chances. Ibrox will be more than half empty for the rest of the season. I wonder how much longer fans continue to plough money in.

David Herd

Hearts, Killie, Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee United and St Mirren have all taken points off us. Half the league. This team and this manager hasn't a clue what's needed in our football. 4 away games lost by Boxing Day ffs.

SC81

I am annoyed with the players and manager but this debacle rests firmly at the door of the board.

David

Is it 2019 again? Repeat repeat repeat. Yawnnnn

Latimer

If you have weak minded melts like Tavernier, Jefte and Bajrami in your team you're going nowhere. As for Butland fk me.

Kirk Guthrie

Yeah that was mind-blowing. St Mirren gets a free kick out of it and diomande gets a yellow 🤔 wt actual f

Andy MacArthur

Do rangers just love to ruin festive spirits. All momentum and good feeling of progressed zappped away in 90 + minutes. Away to have a dram and forget about tonight!

greg sutherland

In the second half I would have taken a draw. I can't believe that was my thought process but there we are. It's an utterly depressing time to be a Rangers fan

C. J

We seem to sign some absolute shitebags. Cerny and Bajrami have absolutely zero aggression whatsoever. We have wee guys in the midfield and a bunch of soft spoken Christians fill the rest of the slots. Our squad composition is a disaster. Zero fight. Zero desire. A club filled with losers.

Gordon Millar

We simply do not recruit players to win games in our domestic league......and have failed to do so for years, our league is physical and a bit industrial so we need to recruit players who can dig out results in places like Paisley against teams of night club bouncers......we don't have a manager or players old or new who can do that and I'm sick watching the same failures year in year out!

Tommy

We’re clearly in a transition period and anyone expecting us not to put in these performances isn’t realistic - we’ll get the odd good performance, the occasional sign of real optimism and we’ll get these results as well. It’s easy to be emotional and angry but nothing changes the above. Koppen needs to improve his recruiting percentage in January as it’s clear the support doesn’t have the patience for the rebuild that’s required.

Al-WATP

Anyone expecting Rangers not to put in these performances against the likes of St Mirren isn’t realistic , my word…. I don’t want to fall out with a fellow bear but if fans are thinking this way then I’m seriously fuckin concerned. Transition or not, how much do we spend in transfer windows compared to every other domestic team bar them and what is our wage bill compared to them all ? To suggest getting results and performances like today is understandable because we’re in a transition baffles me

Scott Stewart

Butland again!. They’ll soon be enough content for rangers to release a video of butland clangers, he had two or three last season and has had a more again this year. He talks the talk and is a good professional but he hardly saves a shot close to his body, he struggles with pass backs , never close to an England call up.

Scott Stewart

Just as I was starting to feel optimistic , it’s really Hard to take positives from that performance , our away form is pish poor . Raskin and Danilo done well and made a difference in the second half ,However Yet gain we shoot ourselves in the foot. It’s Hard to take , hard to watch and murder considering we are facing that mob in a weeks time , all was shaping up well , but that’s another major setback! Sickener !

Spoon

Genuine question, when did our transition start ? We keep hearing this is a transitional season, from what to what ? Very few teams have the textbook transitional season it’s a bit of a football saying that’s meaningless. For me anyway a transitional season is moving from a successful period of dominance with a core group who need to be replaced and rebuilt. We aren’t that at all. This transitional season is a myth it’s a write off of a season to absolve people of winning anything with a promise of better next year, it’s an IOU. It’s also been ‘transitional’ for about the last 11 out of 12 years, not my idea of rebuilding, more going back to the drawing board each year and throwing jelly at the wall. What genuinely are we doing differently ? If the answer is bringing in young talent then we could have done that any point and got far more value domestically than shelling out millions on foreign ‘rising stars’. If you buy young you buy inconsistent, that’s just a fact unless you get incredibly lucky. Continually shopping in the marked down aisle where there are guys with deep seated flaws alongside talent might seem appealing. Getting a guy once worth £6m for £1m might seem economic genius until you realise they spend half their contract unavailable and when they do play it’s to quote a famous phrase “a little bit good a little bit shit”. I’m bored of the excuses. I’m tired pretending we don’t have the resources (even with all our madness at board level) to put out a team on the park capable of winning most games domestically by a few goals and in relative comfort using a robust squad. Guys like Danilo are getting praise for being bang average and missing chances that weeks ago Dessers was being absolutely sledged for, there is no perspective in the analysis of players anymore. Yea Dessers is gash but Danilo isn’t much better, sure he buzzes about but he misses as about three a game and Cerny, you get about 10 minutes out of him then he is like the invisible man, cutting inside and disappearing. I’m not for a second saying these players don’t have some talent, I’m not saying they are a dead loss but I find it hard to rave about a single one of them as if they are top class when my eyes tell me they aren’t. Even Jefte who I love to watch has flaws, at least though he has an engine, takes risks and tries things and is normally available. Half our team sign for 48 months and play about 12 months of games from injury, age or loss of form. I’m not as down about this only as I didn’t get as excited as others about the turn around. It was too out the blue for me to believe it was reallly the managers master plan crystallising. Honestly I wondered if the players just got together and decided the team and tactics to show him he was wrong. We have got squad issues, we have board issues, we have transfer policy issues but what we still have are a squad of players who are miles better standard than all bar one teams, we should be getting more from them. For me, that’s on Clement, those asking if people still want him gone after the cup final, which was a loss regardless of the effort, are you still as bullish ? Do we really think we get a result on the 2nd and if we do, is it followed up by a run and another win against them away ? I can’t see with how he has us playing right now. This transition nonsense needs to go, it’s a get out. We aren’t rebuilding, we haven’t ‘built’ anything in almost a decade.

Allan

Bah, fucking humbug! Just play your best players. We're not good enough to rest our best-inform players. Today is squarely on the manager and staff. My guess would be if you'd asked Raskin and Danilo if they were ready to play today, both would say yes. Rangers you just suck the joy out of everything these days.

Andy Gray

Aye 4 wins in last 13 away league games…just utterly woeful. Domestic form since 1st March has been off a cliff! Simply can’t continue like this.

AGS

With Butland there has to be a bang average keeper on a quarter of the money we can get. Thank you Michael Beale

Charles McIntyre

Been in bed with the flu (real not man flu) since Xmas eve so was looking forward to a wee pick me up last night. I should’ve known better as it’s what this Team does. We had built up a wee bit of momentum but it’s lost again. An error strewn performance. Serious questions again on the starting 11. Re Butland I’m with Colin on this one after the Birth of his baby a few days ago. Would it not have been sensible to rest him on the Bench. Does PC not have enough confidence in Liam Kelly to play against St Mirren. If that’s the case why sign him. Butland imo has not had a good season so far anyhow. The defeat was not down wholly to Jack Butland though. On to Sunday and hopefully I can watch the game from my armchair in the living room and not in the bedroom from my bed,

Ryan Stewart

A reality check after all the recent talk of improvements and shape changes etc Got to be honest I haven’t seen the difference in approach or shape that many seem to. There’s been improvements sure, but for me they’ve been individual based rather than any sort of tactical change. Haven’t seen anything personally that suggests it was sustainable. We’ve started playing Igamane and Danilo who are good footballers and are a lot more mobile than Dessers and Lawrence. Hagi was dreadful last night but he’s added extra creativity in the final third and Raskin is playing out his skin, covering almost the whole midfield himself. Same problems that we’ve had all season still exist, the difference is we’ve had players playing who are better and more suited to the roles their being asked to play

Graeme Glennie

I think it's a matter of time for clement personally but if he loses on the 2nd it's over. And I don't necessarily mean the board will act (because they don't know how to) but that ibrox will return to being a graveyard again. No one will show up, it'll be yet another pointless run in.

Martin Sutherland

Time to go for Clement. Tavernier back to normal after getting his place back. With all the injuries he knows he has to play. Him and Butland being the leaders in our dressing room is comical. Our habit of giving guys without any success responsibility in our dressing room is killing us. Interim until the summer needed. Cannot let Clement near another transfer window.

Stace1ofthePeople

Look forward to watching our games but always left pissed off, frustrated or gutted like the LCF. Jefte and ridvan put two absolutely woeful crosses in within the space of about 7 mins last night and I thought , that's enough. I know how this ends We should be mopping up in the leauge. Transition phase yes I get it but farrr too many 'bumps' in the road. I would expect maybe a draw or winning but not performing great as a 'bump' but 4 defeats, that's not transition, that just means we are shit. We will be closer to aberdeen than celtic come end of the season. Proper depressing stuff.

Granters

I think one of Clement’s biggest errors has been not bringing in his own leader. We are crying out for on-field leadership, especially at the back. Someone in the Davie Weir mould. We are mentally weak and don’t react well to adversity. We’re also starting games too slowly. We need an arse-kicker on the park, at least 1, and i thought Clement would’ve brought one in by now.

Jamiedinho

Clements terrorball needs to end, I've been saying it for ages. Doesn't matter how good the team is, we simply don't play very well in games and it's been like this since March.

Gary Shaw

Genuinely can anyone tell me a game when any of our middle to front players have ever really been a proper standout in a game?…I can’t for the life of me EVER remember Hagi,Dio,Bajrhami,Cerny being really good in a game where you think “they are on it today”……We’ve got a fanbase who so desperately hype the most sub standard of players up that it’s scary….If Hagi had a different second name he wouldn’t even be a footballer never mind playing with Rangers,Diomande I don’t even know if he knows what he’s to do on a football park,Bajrhami is just another Grezda and you can clearly see why Cerny hasn’t made it at the Clubs he’s been at previously.

Doogz

We have been in a transition period since last March when things went South.

Neil Wilson

The Club has been badly run for a few years and we are paying the price for that now. We have another ten to twelve players that need to be moved on and replaced. We are one window into a three window squad overhaul. Not great, shouldn't need to do this, but the Club has been badly run. If you want to change the manager, fine, but we'll be back to constructing an opinion of him to his performance the second half of this season with a half finished squad and if he doesn't start well next season, we'll have the same groundhog day calls for him to go.

adam houston

his times up and shouldnt get jan window

Colin Gardner

I wanted Clement gone a few months ago but what do we really expect here. We have 13 games from now until end of January and you simply cannot play the same players every game. Raskin gets booked and misses the tramps game folk would be going mental. We should have had enough to beat them yesterday no matter who plays. We have a young guy playing up top who will have bad games. Results like yesterday are going to happen with who we have available. I just don't see sacking the manager will put us in a better place.

Stephen Mcphillips

A opportunity to take a step backwards is one this team never misses.

Peter Hosie

100% on the manager and I’m still looking for clarification if he was correct regarding Raskin’s bookings. If he’s wrong it just demonstrates his incompetence and needs to go.

Spoon

Worry is David if your going for stark analysis there is one team in this league who has, bar one unique season, dominated, then rebuilt, then dominated again. Spoiler, it’s not us.

Heart and Hand

No point in rebuild if you just do the same things that caused the first place to collapse anyway. Weak players (physically and mentally), a system that doesn’t work in Scottish away games and a manager who seems blithely indifferent to changing things will not success beget.

Spoon

Spot on mate, utterly gutting. Cant help feel we have squandered so much money, time and good will during the last number of years. We might still have come up short but the way we have done it is stupidity 101 and we have lost our identity as all but a concept. We are Rangers, average Rangers, no one fears us…..we don’t care.

Scott Kerr

Time for Clement to go. The board have to do the right thing!!

Heart and Hand

It’s not coincidence we’re better in Europe. Profile of our signings are for that kind of football. Unfortunately they aren’t built for domestic. Which seems a drawback to me.

Spoon

I take your point bud, however given the majority of Scottish teams set up using cookie cutter big guys, physicality and direct football surely it can’t be beyond an urbane Euro coach to adapt. My issue is that our players continue to be punts we hope will adapt to here where we might have been better served buying local, established talent that we KNOW can play and live here. The snobbery in some quarters for honest talent in our own league versus high risk v reward punts abroad is holding us back. Our journey back up the leagues should have seen us revolutionising how we develop our squad with local youth seen as the future. Instead we bought has been an and never will be players to soothe our ego. Europe has been better than anytime I have watched Rangers back to the 80s but I would swap it all for a dozen more titles and cups. Hard decisions ahead, we will almost certainly need another ‘rebuild’ who amongst the club, support or squad has the appetite for that again? Your right of course, rebuilding isn’t just doing the same things again, be interesting to see if what the plan is, sticking with this shambles won’t work, Clement isn’t even as good as Sex Panther in terms of results…..

Granters

He’s improved as a defender. No doubt about that. Jury’s out on him as a leader though. He’s also injury prone and has shown he can’t be relied upon to be available.

Gordon Masterton

If Butland could dive to his left he wouldnt be at Rangers but he can't and I think most forwards know it! That at least 3 weak attempts at a safe to that side this season.

Allan

We've not even had 2 old firm league games and we are 12 points behind. My guess is the odds would be shorter we'll be 15 points behind by the time that 2nd game takes place.

Nikky Cairney

Nothing will change whilst Clement remains Rangers manager. 12 points behind after 17 games is pathetic. Should’ve been gone weeks ago but excuses keep getting made for him for reasons I can’t fathom. He’s the most unlikeable and boring manager we’ve ever had. Never felt so disconnected with Rangers in all my life and it’s down to him. He needs to go and bring in someone to breathe fresh life into the whole club.
