No matter the circumstances it’s never a bad time to sheer the sheep

Big PC !!! No doubt like most of you I've been back and forth with him (gotta say if he'd stuck with the 2 up top last month his stock would be a little higher) but when you see hamza Clinton and maybe jefte .. he's seen something and brought these guys on to a new level and there still only young men ... maybe just maybe we need to give PC a little more time to really see the fruits of his labour .. dont get me wrong I'm raging / gutted at where we are sitting in the league but we can't continually rebuild with a new manager .. thoughts

William Hughes

Classic Clancy - Raskin was flattened in the middle of the park, Clancy, play on. Then very shortly after, an Aberdeen defender shielding the ball towards his own goal, literally just sits down, grabs the ball, Clancy blows immediately.

James

Taking advantage of their slips is essential in the future. I’m not sure where we’d be if we had won all our games (7 behind?) but I’d love to see how they deal with long term pressure rather than being handed the league. Hopefully one or two decent players in and we look forward to more in the Summer.

Mike Black

Clancy is a cheat. Call him out. It is possible to be a cheater and a terrible ref.

greg sutherland

There is a lot there for us to be optimistic about.

WILLIAM JACK

He is also is the only ref I notice who acts as a 12th man for the opposition consistently against us breaking up play and standing in odd positions for a ref.

Kev Armstrong

The home games haven’t been an issue. We have beaten bottom of the league and a team that is prob near the bottom of the form table. We are also should have a simple win on Sunday. Let’s see how we look after the next round of away games.

chris smith

Good listen, but you guys were far, far, far too lenient on Fader Clancy who is a copper-bottomed cheat. His performance was disgraceful.

KennyY

Thought Nsiala had his best game for us last night. Propper also looked really assured at the back. All of Koppens signings have shown promise. Vital with our limited budget to make the majority of all signings a success. Igumane has some shot on him btw.

David Baillie

Great shout William. I thought I was being paranoid with regard to Clancy but the more I see the more I think he’s a cheat. There’s no other way to explain some of his decisions.

Robert White

Rewatched it. He is a very clever clever ref. Hes been at this for years and has it down to a fine art. The way he influences games is by underreffing opposition and overreffing us but with odd inconsistencies thrown in in order that " hes just human" is an excuse. Its insidious.

Charlie Williams

Thought Hagi was superb tonight, some of his passes were brilliant, not helped by getting no protection from the ref.

Rona Bluebell

That’s the most sense Colin has ever said on the car pod. An insightful ‘hello’ (I’m joking Colin, get better soon) 🥰

Cameron Bell

Agree with comments about the ref (hence the opening “we beat Aberdeen and Kevin Clancy”) but felt it was a good night with plenty of chances so wanted to focus on that. I can promise you it’ll be discussed on Extra 😂 Cammy

greg sutherland

Shinnie got away with at least 4 shirt pulls. He was warned after one and every other incident ignored

smac

Brilliant game… good to see UB’s making noise again. Highlights - Nsiala’s composure and passing, Hamza’s genious and big Leon almost getting a hattrick Lowlights - subway loyal and idiotic boos from a sizeable minority for Cyriel coming on to the park Onwards and upwards

Spoon

Excellent to see Nsiala getting games, amazing how guys develop when they get game time. He should be used and not wrapped in cotton wool or his crucial early years experience isn’t given to him. He learns nothing in B team. Some of his passing is miles better than our bigger stars, crisp and in front of a guy to run onto, too often we play it behind the target. Dessers will go and do fine somewhere else, a better set up in our club and played to his strengths he does fine. A guy who was slated early and then judged very unfairly at times. I thought at weekend he had finally decided to sack it against fan contempt but pleased to see him remind potential buyers he isn’t half as bad as some make out. Absolutely think it’s time for him to go, no doubt on that. Clement is rising high right now on doing pretty much the same as he has done all season but the players definitely seemed to have got some form, some confidence and are delivering. Let’s hope that is maintained as it would only take a dip or injury to a few and we struggle again. Jefte continues to go a bit under the radar, wouldn’t surprise me if there is interest in him soon too. A joy to watch even though he’s still raw. I think Bajrami gets a bit too much stick and while I take the point about output he like others needs a run with the same people around him and in the same position before I would criticise him too much. I like the boy far more than Cerny as a footballer but as the podders rightly highlight Cerny has the numbers and in our team that’s possibly more important than play. Enjoyed the listen gents.

Ross Stirling

Decent performance, should have been more. Cammy, Cerny's name is pronounced Vaht-slaf . Not Vah-clav. 😅

Allan Osborne

Hagi was MOTM for me. Some of his passing was sublime, and all done while he was being kicked off the park.

Heart and Hand

Bixby, for years on here your name has set off a bell in my increasingly muddles head. I watched Robocop again over Christmas and was like ‘THAT’S IT!’

John Marshall

Good to hear Ted Lowe cameo on the podcast. Class but expected 👏

Bixby Snyder

Haha, yeah, I don't think they even say his name in it. Highly recommend the 4-hour Robodoc documentary—the best talking heads-making of a movie I've ever seen. Costs more than a dollar though.
