Who would you like David ? Jose for me

Rona Bluebell

Aww, your cheery wee face. Lovely to see. Happy Thursday nights are so soothing for the soul.

Graeme Glennie

Sorry to kill this vibe and I'm delighted with top finish but I thought we were awful tonight. We were tactically poor. I thought igamane on the left absolutely bombed as an idea, bajrami officially became a problem tonight also. Incredibly I thought dessers was the only pass mark. I thought he dealt with our right back issue wrong aswell. I find it Incredible we made the top 8 and usg must be so disappointed tonight.

Jim Milne

I didn't think it was a great performance, but when you have King at RB then McCausland, Tav at CB and Igamane who I agree was poor I didn't expect the result we got, but I'll more than take it, celebrate and enjoy qualifying considering the draw we got. Igamane struggled but he's still leaning and you're right about Dessers. I thought Jefté was terrible and Cérny was as good as Dessers. Butland suspect and Tav decent as CB. I'd go as far to say we need to hold Dessers until the summer because he's our biggest threat in Europe. I do know where you're coming from mate.

Steve23

Just enjoy mate. Brilliant result, great achievement under the circumstances. It happens less often these days, but following this club gives you nights like this, feelings and emotions like this and you just have to sit back and ride the Rangers wave. Can’t buy this feeling. Nothing else to it!

Elaine Campbell

Great night. Yeh some down sides, but let's enjoy tonight. We can sort things in the morning. Let's just have one wee happy night. We deserve it 💙

Martin Whitelaw

wouldn't say awful Graeme that's pretty harsh, we rode our luck but naturally the makeshift back 4 is going to leak nerves through the whole the team and they weren't a bad team...thought Dessers was terrific, Dio & Tav good too, Igamane wasted out wide I agree not sure why he was sacrificed for Bajrami to be central who was very poor I agree! Jefte was poor too he needs a rest played a lot more football than expected I suppose due to injuries. Regardless we're through & i think deservedly when you think of unnecessary dropped pts against Spurs & Man U. We had plenty of opportunities to kill the game at 2-0 they got a goal & made it a nervous end but they were a decent team on the ball..just enjoy the night we're through & overall the team has been performing much better than a few months ago...given the injuries I think we have some players who give us hope for a decent 2nd half of the season & maybe even a few more magical Europa nites like the run to Seville 💙

Graeme Glennie

I am mate but my only question is, he's asking Leon king to play a completely different role when you have a physically capable right back playing at centre back. The injury for me comes from playing king in an obscure position. What is the thought process behind that? I'm delighted with the top 8.finish but there's a lot of questions still to this coaching team.

Davie Stuart

Just take the bloody win 🙈🤣 was it the greatest performance, no it wasn't. It was a make shift defence, Cerny wasn't fit Igamane wasn't his best night but you still see that wee guys natural abilities. Best player we've signed in over a decade by a mile. We're in the top 8 Graeme .... Smile, take the win and be bloody happy 🤣😂

Graeme Glennie

Why was it a makeshift back 4? If a month ago king played right back and tav centre back he would have been chased out the door. The injury comes directly from him being played in a position he cannot physically handle. Over extending and out of position. Then having to bring on an out of form mcausland at right back. Another player incapable of the position. Then igamane out on the left completely isolated and ineffectual. I can be pleased we went through and concerned about some of the decisions made tonight.

Martin Whitelaw

Not sure how a clash of heads challenging for a header is only because he was playing RB? More likely to have to deal with headers at CB the injury was just unfortunate can't lay that on the manager...unfortunate he didn't have much else to put out. Personally think Clement could take critcism for the Mcausland experiment at RB which definitely didn't work we prob got away with that thought it was calling out for Souttar to come on at half time but guess he thought it was a risk to chuck him in earlier...got the result that's all that matters!

Graeme Glennie

He was throwing himself around and was injured just before that also. Was seriously struggling the whole time he was on the pitch. Made no sense to me why he didn't play him centre back. Why does one performance at old Trafford give the manager confidence to start playing people out of position? Especially in a back 4 already struggling for consistency.

Martin Whitelaw

He's never fancied King as a CB from what i can tell & ultimately Tav played well 2nite & at Old Trafford so I'd say the manager was proved right...we rode our luck but generally that is gonna happen against decent teams...the mgt were trying to mould King into a defensive mid for the last 2 years but unfortunately he just isn't up to scratch...prob why he was so upset coming off as he knows his chances are likely up with his contract up in the summer! I honestly think the managers hands were pretty tied 2nite when you think about the injuries Balogun, Sterling, Yilmaz, Kasanwirjo & Souttar (unfit) even the backup Nsiala isn't available so it was always going to be gamble whatever way he played it with who he had available...agree we can't rest on our laurels or kid on its all roses...but felt over the games we deserved a bit of fortune hopefully we can get some defensive bodies back now 👌🏻

David Campbell

Fear absolutely nobody make the quarter finals I'll be reserving a hotel room in Bilbao. Excellent achievement

We were poor tonight aye but we’ve done really well in the competition and picking up a group stage win playing badly isn’t to be sneezed at.

Dingus

Funny how people see games differently. I thought Tav was all over the place tonight - at both CB and RB. At CB he was stepping out leaving massive spaces in behind. Propper was playing like an old fashioned sweeper having to cover the right hand side when Tav went walkabout. RB was marginally better but poor distribution put us under so much pressure. Only Raskin and Dessers get pass marks from me.

Heart and Hand

The manager deserves some CREDIT not CRITICISM! D’oh - I misspoke there. Apologies, it’s late 😂

Alan Stewart

We were written off before a ball was kicked but we can achieve anything on Rangers Thursdays. Very proud of our team and management and very encouraging signs that we are moving in the right direction with our transfer model. The days of signing English championship plodders on huge salaries finally look over. God bless our Rangers 💙🇬🇧

Douglas Innes

You know players have tournaments ie the Oleg Salenko effect ....... could this be the Dessers Europ league season ??

Robert Toal

Who’s that team the call the Rangers, who’s that team we all adore

Scott Stewart

Well done clement dessers and tav. Written off by many ! Credit to the three of you for Trying your best and giving your all for the success of rangers football club particular because for criticism, you hung in and rode the storm.

Scott Stewart

Think you are Defo watching a different game, Tav is too small for to be a Cb and not good enough in the air, that aside he had a good game , set up the first goal with a wonderful cross . He also Set up dessers with a great cross that dessers should have scored with in first half header . He Made the interception that led to the breakaway for the second goal ! Only fault he had was for the offside goal not strong enough! He was Easily muscles out ( pushed) That aside he had one bad pass all night! Guy put In a real captains performance and cruzed at RB . Cerny scored and great goal and was clearly still not 100% , was unlucky With a wonderful strike . My concern is butland he’s had a howling season all the way back to last season cup final ! Clements worked magic to get this team through !

Scott Stewart

you’re correct on another night we could have lost 4-2. They missed some sitters . We never really had the energy or drive of a usual European night. Thought dessers was excellent. Cerny was decent as was Diomande and Raskin. Tav a rb , never a Cb but set up the first goal and had some Excellent deliveries one of which led to a header that dessers should score with. Butlands a concern and we desperately need a big commanding Cb. That’s got to be our priority of nothing else

Darren Littlejohn

We were shakey at times, rode our luck at times but we did that Thursday thing

Scott Stewart

Igamane has exceptional talent with skys the limit potential! Only criticism is his decesion making could be better at times. He way better central for me and more effective, although rangers coaches should still encourage him to try things as that’s what makes him special. The lads got some ability, just needs polished

Craig

Glad to see the youngsters being trusted at this level, but I thought Nsio looked miles off it when he came on. Weird that he got the nod ahead of Rice, manager possibly trying to fire him up by holding him back a little?

QB_72

I felt sad for LK. JB with that looking header, that's a couple of in the box blunders of late 🤔. Fantastic to be in the last 8 with the competition we had in our group 😁. Thursdays at Ibrox 🔥. Oh!!!!! and Yasss 🔴⚪🔵.

Calum Robertson

Scrappy performance but needs must with players out of position, for once a bit of luck goes our way bypassing the knockout round not many of us would have predicted that, congrats to the manager and the team and bring em on in the last 16 fear no foe

John Palmer

Finished top 8 and in Last 16

John Palmer

Next round will see Hagi in the European Squad which'll be a Huge boost for us. We now have approx 6 weeks before the Last 16, time to regroup, get Players back fit and get our Domestic form in a better state than it is right now.

Jim Milne

I feel terrible for the young lad. He's going to have to consider his personal future as well as his football future. I'm positive that's the 2nd concussion he's had playing for us.

Jim Milne

He learns fast, so although last night was a tough lesson I am sure he will learn from it. Even with his inexperience Igamane offers more to me behind the striker than Bajrami does at this moment in time.

QB_72

Shame, getting fired in against Liverpool didn't do him any favours and he is deffo out of favour with PC, only being used as we are very low on defense, sad, so yeh time for the young man to consider his options. Our youth system doesn't do enough for me considering the money pumped into it from the lotto and the club.

Rose Mcloughlin

Great achievement top 8...as each year our success in Europe grows we are also building up a fear factor in other teams as one to be avoided...great feeling...now to bring that back in our own league...well done to our players esp the ones playing out of their favoured positions...and as for Dessers he was a delight to watch maybe now the limelight is on Igamane he is relaxing and enjoying his football again....hope we dont put pressure on Igamane now as he didnt look his normal confident self last night...too much transfer thoughts in his head maybe as he is so young.

Vanb bryceter

Well what a night ... congratulations to Clement he deserves a full apology from me anyway.Football is such a fickle sport one minute you're a diddy next a superstar talking of which take a bow Cyriel you were magnificent last night. Now let's get a couple of decent signings in for our manager the guy deserves at the very least that much. Thank you to Clement and the team for reinforcing our solid reputation in Europe.

Scott Tolmie

Actually agree with you, very weak at the goal that was disallowed, proper was very good, Def don't want to see much more of Tav in that position
