USG did miss three or four chances but so did we. Dessers who was brilliant last night had a free header, good run with shot taking a nick for a corner and then the one on one at the end. Plus Cerny hit the post with a screamer. So I still think we just deserved the win. While we are improving our defence is a shambles from balls into the box. If we get past Lazio or Athletic Club I’ll be booking my flight 😎

You have to consider the board he has had to endure as manager before you call judgement on him. Maybe we will see some more sense with how the club is run, but we don’t know that yet. I think we might get some of the answers we seek on the CEO once this window has passed. Forget about the chairman, because that’s got non power anymore. When a powerbroker was in that role it carried clout, but the new guy has no clout in how the club is run. He’s a stooge who’s been appointed to carry out the Loving Cup ceremony once a year. The three who matter right now andClement, Koppen and Stewart. As things stand we need to ensure the manager is given what he needs in the transfer window.

Got to laugh at the Dessers haters. General consensus was that he had a great overall game on Thursday but no, the haters are now calling every chance he gets as a sitter !!!!! When they clearly weren’t. It is OK to continue to hate him but don’t double down with nonsense just to suit your agenda!!!!!!
