If the club came out and publicly backed the manager, I'd at least have a bit of respect for them. Is think they were making a fucking terrible decision, but at least they'd be showing balls in making and announcing the decision. Radio silence is just utterly pathetic.

Not sure what they think will happen! It actually has annoyed me more as I had hoped with new CEO and Chairman we might have a fresher approach to dealing with….well anything?! However it appears we are the same mess as previous years and not learning from mistakes! The board are screwed whatever they do in fairness but that doesn’t mean bury your head in the sand! Just say you are standing by him at least until the summer blah blah or get rid of him!

When is the review planned to be completed? The length of contract given to new assistant is rather surprising to many, why give such a lengthy contract prior to conclusion of review? Will full review be published for fan base? I’d be interested if a poll was carried out of 45k plus season ticket holders re ST renewals if we start next season with PC as manager, anyone want a repeat of last 12 month for another 900 quid?

Given the utter contempt that the club has shown the support, how would it be if the club media groups H&H, Rangers Review, 4 Lads etc turn up to tomorrow’s presser and remain completely silent. Would that send a message to the board? To be followed up at the weekend by silence from the away fans at Tynecastle and again at the St Mirren game at Ibrox next week. These people don’t deserve our support.

God, it really is bloody depressing being a Rangers fan just now. Seems like lots of trial and crazy amounts of error. I'd like for them all to go away come up with a plan and implement it. It shouldn't be hard to build a winning outfit in Scotland. Not with our budget and turnover.

I think we can get a bit carried away with 'sending messages'. It's based in the idea that they can't know what's going on, because if they did they would fix it. That somehow if we can only let them know they'll then realise and fix it. That's easier to process than the truth which is they Do know what's going on but DON'T know how to fix it. I've read lots of suggestions this week about things that would 'send a message'. They have the message already. They just don't have the solutions.

No, it won't be shared with public and nor should it be. It's going to recommend key processes and things we will be doing - why would you reveal that to your rivals? It would be counter-productive.

I have no great faith in Patrick Stewart being the man to sort Rangers out, I get he’s not long in the door but I fear he’s hiding behind this external review, for me he is the one that should have been going in and sorting things out. He sure as hell isn’t coming across like David Holmes that’s for sure.

And it must be said whilst I have your attention whenever I listen to you on any of the rangers related shows on the network at times like this (which has been more often than not in recent years) I always reflect that my misery probably isn’t as bad as yours having to report on this sh*tshow 🤣 so thanks for doing so mate, appreciated as always 👏

If Clement started in the summer and wasn’t tarnished with last seasons collapse. I don’t believe he would be this damaged with the fans. We all have rose tinted specs but Gerrard’s first season was over performing in Europe, a strong home record beating Celtic with lots of draws away from home and struggling to break the low block. If you look at Clements record this season it’s the same pattern in my opinion. He doesn’t have the personality like Gerrard did to make us believe he can turn it around. A new manager in the summer only needs to be better than Clement and won’t be hamstrung with removing high earners that contribute nothing and settling lots of new players. That might not be fair, but it would give the new guy space to build in my opinion.

I think the only thing that gave him any credit this season was that he did well when he first came in with the previous managers' players. It went downhill at the end and imo hasn't improved at all since.

I thought fan media of H&H & 4 Lads gave Clement a rough ride at Sunday's press conference. As much as we want him gone there is a human aspect too and if it went harder than Sunday it would likely cross a line. I was impressed by fan media's tone in getting their points across.

Don't think it will reflect on renewals, what I do see is 12-15 months rinse & repeat but with a lower quality because of less funds and incoming managers/coaches wanting their own kind of players , it's hard to see light if we're only going to repeat the past.

I always think due to fate we'd a lot of players going out of contract in the summer Gerrard came and he pretty much had a blank canvas , the team that finished pre Gerrard and then Gerrards squad after the window shut was night & day

What evidence is there to suggest renewals will be affected? We have a long waiting list. I would renew, regardless of how bad it gets, because I know I could be years getting a ST back if I give it up and things quickly change. Who here is willing to refuse to renew? It feels like it's been trotted out to try and apply pressure on the board to act, when nobody actually believes it is feasible.

100% correct David on the apathy element. I’m 59 in a couple of months and my first memories are family and Rangers. Messaged some friends yesterday and I said the worst thing now is that I don’t give a fuck about them. Can’t imagine giving my season ticket up but don’t enjoy going anymore other than meeting up with friends. Scunnered!

I’ve booked 18 holes on Sunday. I haven’t deliberately missed watching a game for a long time. On the youth set up changes, more reshuffling rather than actual change. Thomson coming in is a positive. But the rest of the changes just sound like jobs for the boys stuff. I won’t hold my breath about anything positive coming out of this report. Stewart is a puppet.
