Performance didn’t do anything to dissuade the feeling of the support. I must say in all honesty having watched them back, I think Hearts probably should’ve had 2 penalties. If that’s us I am screaming for them. But nice to get a bit of luck for once

Scott Stewart

Good win away in a hard venue, rode our luck at times ,was hard to watch , poor performance , good saves from butland , dessers looked lively when he came on , igamane was poor , he needs to play in a two. It’s no surprise his form has dipped since Danilo got injured ! Ps although fairly quiet today, cerny is a massive player for Gers. Imagine life without him just now. A daunting thought . A wins a win just about sums it up.

Alex Anderson

Absolutely awful to watch as we have been most of the season.

Greg Archibald

A result that keeps Phil in his job with another performance that should see him lose it

Stace1ofthePeople

The thing is every game is now meaningless. Apart from a dream run in Europe nothing is really going to get me too high or too low. Every game will be a bit meh, can't really judge the players as none are playing under pressure anymore. It's now a season of friendlies. Dont think we are going to see anything too exciting or different game to game. But what we do continuoualy do is make other teams lools really good against us. Same thoughts as everyone we lack dig, quality, experience and consistency. Everything you need to have a successful squad. Yet again another massive massive summer coming up that could see us kick on or just continue to rot like were doing so atm. 🤦‍♀️

Kenny Service

We’re so poor , I can’t not watch us (in the blood n that) however mediocre and that really hurts to say that .

Graham Roy

I thought apart from goal cerny was pretty poor. In fairness the rest of the team was the same. Butland with some good saves but also could have cost us a couple. When a hearts player is our man of the match it speaks volumes!

Stuart McWilliams

I think we'd be better with a midfield 3 of Dio, Raskin and Rice. Play cerny as a 10 and then 2 up top. There's no point playing long balls behind the full back when neither winger has pace.

William Taylor

I’ve been in the Clement should go camp for a while, but is this the best option? As Rangers fans we want to win the league but any new Rangers manager is going to need 90+ points to be in with a chance of that. Is a new manager up to that??? Our points totals in the last 4 four years have been respectable even compared to Smith/Advocaat years. Under Gerrard/Gio we got 89 points. Gio/Beale 93 points. Beale/Clement 85 points. Smith/McLeish and Advocaat all won titles with less points. Obs won titles with more also, but recent players have been lauded as failures/not fit for the jersey. They have been failures in terms of trophies. ‘They’ have sadly been relentless with 90+ points hauls. Are we able to achieve that whilst downsizing? Can we keep changing managers? Gerrard got 78 points/67 points when it stopped for Covid and then 102 when we won the league. I’m starting to think we are being too short sighted as a support.

Dio finally smashed one at UTD and scored but since then he's back to side footers that couldn't get through a wet paper bag, so fkn frustrating how bad he is when shooting. WTF are our coaching staff doing with these players, they never learn lessons on fkn anything so obviously our coaches are useless.

Chris Graham 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We all know we have not been easy on the eye or a good footballing side under this guy for over a year It’s garbage At times hearts even have cleaner more fluid passages of coached evident play They are mid table in the spl We are such a dreadfully built , set up and coached footballing team I keep saying it . THE WAY YOU PLAY THE GAME IS WHAT WINS OR HANGS YOU . I cannot see the forest for the tree rite now . Just get this guys away ffs

Martin Sutherland

Nothing matters league wise. He’ll big this up and talk shite, as usual. We could win every league game until the summer and I’d still want him gone.

Scott Stewart

Cerny was quiet today but his overall contribution this season is a big plus for us and that contribution will be hard to replace , 14 goals so far and many assists. He,ll the finish season with more goals and assists id imagine . We canny afford to buy a player to replace him, he offers us a great outlet to get up the park quickly , particularly in big games . As for Butland he’s had a howling season however credit where credits due today. As he made decent saves. Was a very strange game . The team were very poor

Stephen

In some ways a result like that supports the board stalling on sacking Clement. If we are still winning games like this, I would rather they took their time finding the right replacement if possible . We will still win most games in the meantime so bringing in a caretaker is pretty pointless.

Scott Tolmie

Great result poor performance, igamane another poor day for him, cerny bar the goal very poor but what I expect from him away from Ibrox, diomande sorry he will never be for me. Nsiala very steady again and done well. The captain really needs to start sitting in as so much went down his side and lucky to get away with it. Dessers done well and what a difference movement makes.

Graeme Macdonald

Totally agree David with your take on Butland. Definitely a better keeper than Kelly who is good. I remember there was a bit of a thing about Nicky Walker taking Woods place when he made a few mistakes. Yes he's been off form but Butland is a good GK. Maybe the fans built him up a little as we lack "hero's "

8luenose1872

No we aren't. Clements tactics are awful for our league. He has no plan B either. We will win nothing under him even with better players.

Rachel

Today was just awful to watch. Clement is baffling and infuriating so I don’t know why I listened to the post match but I heard “we need this everytime…” from Clements post match and that was enough for me. Playing Lawrence…building for the future 🤨 I just don’t get the decision at all. Why not give Rice and Curtis a shot, give the youth a chance to get minutes, develop and build for next season?

Jim McCutcheon

Nsiala is a positive prospect, but a poor disjointed display again how it turned out a 3-1 win = with help from hearts and JB 🙃, thanks Colin & David

Bob MacCallum

Another shocker from Tav. We'll win nothing again until this sorry excuse of a captain is gone. The manager can influence very little from the touchline. However, a captain should be influencing every minute of the game. Our best spell of the season came when Tav was dropped/ subbed/ came on late on. Will be interesting to see if a fit Sterling ousts him. If not, we need a right-back in the summer. This can't continue.

William Taylor

Who are you bringing in that will get 90+ points required to win the league whilst managing a team with a lower budget than what we had under Gerrard/Gio/Beale? The board would really need to pull a rabbit out of the hat. The reality is we aren’t winning the league until we have a new owner. A new manager will all give us renewed hope, but it’s just sticking a plaster on the problem.

Doogz

Even when Cerny is poor he pops up with a goal some return for wide player. N’siala impressed again looks calm and composed, Hearts could not sustain their press that they had done well for 60 mins then looked gassed.

Dingus

Looks like I’m in the minority in regards Nsiala’s performance. I thought defensively he was poor. The fact that young Wilson was a threat throughout tells a story. Given his physique he was 2nd best in most challenges, often not challenging whatsoever. He doesn’t get a pass simply due to inexperience.

John Jamieson

We don’t have one attacking playing that makes runs in anticipation of a ball being played into a dangerous position we seem to always wait for the ball to be played to react which has to be perfect every time. First goal perfect example. What is hagi suppose to do but play it into the 6 yard box. Not one white shirt in site and just pure dumb luck hearts don’t deal with it correctly. Thats coaching for me what exactly do we do to get the players ready for those situations

Wilf marshall

Thanks for the shout out David. I’m delighted I managed to get a ticket too 👍🏻🇬🇧

Mark Boyd

Please stop saying “we all know what we want” “what he is doing makes no sense to anybody” pretty please

KMS

Glad to see Wilf got a ticket, given we get such a small allocation and have so many entering the ballot....it never ceases to amaze me how much luck the UBs have in those ballots 😮 Does the SLO draw it? 🤔

Alan Weir

I thought he defended soundly, made no obvious errors of consequence, passed the ball accurately and is beginning to show the confidence, once or twice, to come out from the back with the ball. Alongside Igamane, Nsiala is a light of hope in a shitshow of a season.

Alan Weir

Too many one and two touch possessions from the attackers, getting rid of the ball in a panic and showing no calmness or courage on the ball.

JimGLW

'if it had been a title race we'd have been delighted' is a great line and spot on. The fact it is in season of drudgery, the week after our worst ever result is all part of the annoyance at how much a shambles we were again today. Nothing getting better any time soon.

Jamie

What is happening to Barron ?

Lee Williamson

Our passing has been absolutely awful for a long time..... never replaced Steve Davis type of player to control midfield.

Ross Monro

That's the thing we are never going to be able to rely on sterling. I fear he is another matondo to be honest.

Granters

It’s pretty clear now that Clement’s getting the season regardless.

Granters

Very good question. A player who was our default MOTM until Clement suddenly stumbled upon Raskin as the preferred partner to Dio (i say suddenly as it happened because Clement was left with no choice) At the moment Barron looks like yet another promising young player being wasted.

Granters

The random Lawrence start from nowhere just sums Clement up and screams of throwing something at the wall and hoping it sticks. There’s absolutely zero logic behind it.

Jim Milne

I thought he got what looked like a bad injury against Man Utd. and haven't read or heard any updates since.

Jim Milne

I'm am now of the opinion that what Clement says to the press he says as feedback to the players. That was such an abject performance, and after the game he made it sound like he was happy with the effort, etc. If you set the bar low, and commend people for hitting low bars they won't strive to improve or give more effort.....and that's what we seem to see most weeks except for Europa League performances.

Scott

Get him OUT. Would be up for a protest at st mirren

Graeme Burns

Great result - always take a 3-1 win at Swinecastle - being able to grind out these results when not at your best is usually a sign of Champions - just sad we’ve dropped a few too many points and will run out of games before being able to catch them…

Graham Roy

If we could afford cerny we should sign him however it would be a signing that we would get little or no return on financially. I personally would cash in on butland in summer and try to bring in a replacement but we will need to accept a far lower fee than last season. But this season is gonna be like hearts game even if they win they won’t get much credit.

Chris Graham 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My supporters club is in tatters guys When Gerrard came in myself and some lifelong friends who have always went to the games decided to club together a small supporters club deliberately we had 25 members so that we could keep it close and tightly knitted and easy to manage ,a club treasurer myself chair and a secretary we have a bank account with money in it, but literally zero interest in going to the games now we have members leaving weekly for an already small supporters club. It is becoming really hard to sustain. it’s not about a lack of interest it is about a lack of belief and trust in the club to present us with the make up and guts of a functioning side David mentions arguing about who’s our worst player is correct Tell you better than that the blind faith and acceptance that Cerny is some kind of answer , he’s red rotten but let’s look at his stats and be blinded by them . We need wingers that can pin teams back and actually go past men He scores a deflected tap in lads let’s be honest ffs Arguing about who’s worst is correct What a mess 💔

Scott Watson

It's not from nowhere though, is it? He returned to the bench at the end of January, then he's been coming on late as a sub in the last couple of games Lawrence has got more goals this season than Hagi, Bajrami, McCausland, including winners in games where we otherwise struggled to score He was pish yesterday but the idea is obvious enough - we don't get enough goals from outside striker or right wing (when it's cerny) so we want to play people who do actually score goals

Granters

Then we had Dessers on the bench. A better choice. Everyone knows we play better in these games with 2 forwards.

Granters

Don’t agree. To win the league we need to pick up the vast majority of points against the ‘jobbers’ which for this squad of players should be achievable with good coaching and leadership on the park. The problem at the moment is we don’t have that but it’s achievable. Both OF will always drop some points against them, but we drop too many at the moment. We then need to win against that lot at home and take something from the away games. That should be doable. I’m firmly of the belief neither OF club is ever ‘years behind’ the other. It’s the SPL not the EPL and there’s a ceiling on the quality of player that will come to Scotland.

Rose Mcloughlin

Sorry to hear that, my brothers club in Canada has now closed too...and at Ibrox even you start to spot missing friends around you missing games....the Board needs to make some sort of comment but hopefully they are planning ahead to change the manager at the close of season.

Graeme Guthrie

wouldnt count on it. Clement thinks he is doing well. Making finals, 2nd in the league, and he takes his lead from his employers, the board

Bixby Snyder

I see what you’re saying here, William. It’s just the competition in the SPL is so poor compared to those days. It used to be getting a draw away to Hearts or Hibs wasn’t a bad result but now that other lot are almost guaranteed to win every game, we can’t slip up in fixtures like these.

Nikky Cairney

Never felt more disconnected from the team. Barely celebrated the goals yesterday. Just feels so meaningless. Managers comments after wards miles off as usual. Hate the word gaslighting but that’s what it feels like. When we win against teams we should there’s no mention of budgets. When we lose against teams the budget excuse comes out unless it’s a lower team then it will never be mentioned. Mentioned shots on goal for us last week but tells us we played well yesterday even though hearts had more shots. Lawrence starting is a nonsense aswell. Start someone who is going to be here next season or at least someone with potential to be here.
