After a Wednesday night rollercoaster against Kilmarnock Barry Ferguson will be hoping for a more straight forward fixture vs Motherwell.
The steel men are also under new management but visit an Ibrox where Rangers haven’t won in their last two home games.

Of course Strider isn't a fan of Ferguson 😄 Well if we've heard how everyone deserves a chance when they get the job then Ferguson sure does after we've had the last two clowns in wreaking havoc. Ferguson in for 3 months is what it is. Nothing long term and no millions to waste like our previous managers have. May as well back him.

Thanks as ever lads. On the Ferguson side, previously he’d be in a probation stage but his takeover is different gravy and there’s no way he can be given the feeling that it’s any more than helping the club through this period of time.

Couldn’t agree more about Sterling, the contract extension was hurried because he had half a dozen decent performances. He’s never fit and can’t hold down a position in the team when he is. There was no rush to do anything.

Dodds will be great for Dessers. Both are battlers, and weren’t always first choice.

I’m certainly in the middle camp - was against the appointment but already find myself being swayed. He’s going to need to be outstanding (I.e. getting through at least one more round in Europe and winning at Parkhead) if there’s to be a serious conversation about it being made permanent though

If there's one thing I noticed on Thursday was that the forwards were coming back to the Midfielders to then take it forward. We need ball carriers to take the ball up to the forwards so Players aren't playing 2 or 3 positions and they can't just concentrate on their own job. If we can do that then we are unplayable

Thanks gentlemen I think you're right, who else could we really get to come in for a fairly thankless task? Kev did indeed correctly predict a 4-2 against motherwell a couple of years back

I’m not suggesting we have top tier payers in our squad but it’s evident to me at least that the right guy and right set up gets more out of what we have. Remove excuses, expect standards to be met and support guys to get the best from them we will do far better. The criminal thing Clement did was remove standards from the team, provide get outs for players, create a structure that weakened what we had instead of strengthening it. His man management was atrocious and while Ferguson and the gang probably don’t have the Euro chops he does they know this league, the opponents and the requirements to succeed here. I can live with not winning I can’t live with not competing, that’s where Clement had created despair.

Don’t really rate Jefte attacking or defending. Ridvan has been better than him this season and that’s saying something.
