Big yes from me

Charlie Nicolson

Barry, long term? No. Short term? Maybe. If he wins in Bilbao ? Yes

Tom McDavid

If Clement is on a years salary severance then the contract extension doesn’t really matter, unless he also got a significant wage rise.

Andrew Whiteside

I started going when John Greig was the manager. I was only a boy and it was amazing going to the games but miserable when the football started.

Tom McDavid

I take full responsibility for the 85/86 collapse. I was in hospital for first 6 weeks of season. I got out the morning of the Dundee game and headed straight for Ibrox, much to my mothers horror 😇

Gary Shaw

I loved Ferguson as a player but it’s far too early to consider him as manager material BUT I do actually think he would make a better manager than an assistant/coach….He looks to have that Gerrardesque vibe were he doesn’t say much and just overlooks training and has small inputs but you listen when he talks….Im not sure he has the personality to be an assistant or coach

Billy Brotherston

On what Barry needs to do to get the job full time - I just hope he does well enough to be considered for it & if he does, after listening for a year to a cunt who just didn’t get what we’re about…..I’ll be all fuckin for it

John Smith

All thoughts with you and the fam Hoggy. Hope everything goes well 💙

Hi Hoggy, Hope you and your family are doing well. Barry Ferguson as manager - a YES from me. We need a figurehead who knows the club as our manager. Rangers is so much more than just a football team and we need someone who understands that as manager. I was at the Motherwell game at Ibrox as a 6 year old. I always remember it as the beggars won the league that day when Hearts blew it. I was also in the shed at the touchline at Dens when we won 7-1, slightly older and full of the MD20 20 but distinctly remember Rod the Prod lobbing their goalie to score. 2 contrasting times following Rangers,I don’t think any support in world football has had to put up with as much shite as us. Onwards and Upwards!🇬🇧💙

John Johnston

I remember the Steau Bucharest game kicking off at 1pm and lots of fellow bears in school having to go to the dentist for an appointment at the same time. Souness smacked Gerry McNee on the plane on the way home because McNee was not happy at him for not telling him McCoist was starting the game.

James McSween

Said it before Hoggy, we should have ex players as mentors to the squad. Brown Gough McCoist Hateley and maybe even a few foreign boys like Numan Mols Albertz. This would give the players different perspectives on what it’s like playing for the famous.

Jim Milne

Probably needs new players to appreciate legends working with them. I don't even think Walter could get a tune out of this shower.

Neil Elder

Barry Ferguson - No. We need a manager (not necessarily a Rangers man) who can read a game properly, a manager who is tactically astute, and with more experience than Barry has.

Jim Milne

Barry Ferguson - Likely no, after yesterday's performance. After Queen's Park & St. Mirren I thought we'd hit bottom especially after Kilmarnock comeback. These players just can't be trusted. I do feel that we need an identify off the field. Across the city irregardless who manages them they have a core in John Kennedy, Laptop Boy, etc that instill "their identity" on players. We need that, and we need it ASAP.

James Muir

All the best to the family. Its poor that our keeper can't grip a ball and our players can to the basics properly or sad to say don't care . hopefully one day soon we will have strong physical team with talented footballers keeping the faith WATP

Bob MacCallum

Bajrami is an empty jersey. No heart, grit, determination. Mentally and physically too weak for our league. His agent should be told to get him a club this summer.

David Kiltie

I was at university back in March 1988 and I had a genuine dental appointment at 2pm but saw us concede a horrendous early goal (sounds familiar?). As Hoggy alludes to, we were relying on Ally, who had just had an operation, as our only striker. The Steua tie exposed Graeme Souness’s abrasive approach to man-management, with Mark Falco and Robert Fleck leaving within a fortnight of each other before Christmas. Also exposed was his “schoolboy in a sweetie shop” approach to the transfer market. Jan Bartram, John Brown, Mark Walters and Ian Ferguson were all ineligible due to when they were signed. Add to that Terry Butcher’s leg break absence and Ally not remotely fit we went into the tie severely depleted. For 37 years now I have looked back on that season as the best chance to win the European Cup.

on pc contract extension i believe that with cantwell and hagi situation there maybe fears of player revolts as soon as the extension was given cantwell left , with his insta post to tav when pc got the sack i’m convinced more , what do you think hoggy?
