When Oscar first came in he looked a player to me. Not sure if thats because of what went before him and he stood out, or if he is indeed a good winger. Can only hope he gets fit, stays that way and can push on. Going to be a brilliant atmosphere on Thu. Can't wait. Good to be going to Ibrox excited! Been a while!

Graham Roy

Well done Mark and best of luck to your daughter 👍🏻

Ranger1972

Can you think of a manager who plays the style you speak of David? I think the same just can’t seem to think of a manager for it 😂

Duncan McKnight

It's a shame about Cerny but ultimately not surprising. In terms of output, he's surely one of the best players we've had in that right wing/forward player in a long time.

Peter Hosie

Why are we talking about Cerny’s future days before a massive game

Scott Wright (Not That One)

I never learn from falling in love with these loan players! As long as he keeps contributing until his times up then can’t ask for more than that!

Craig

Cerny is a proper lesson for trigger happy loyal when it comes to making snap judgments on new signings. Someone with a softer mentality would have crumbled after those first few weeks.

Russell Martin has no evidence to be a successful Rangers manager. I very much hope we go no place near him. We need a manager who knows , how we win football matches , to win titles.

Is there going to be a flagship this week or are u saving it until Friday when it will hopefully be a good one.

Billy McCormack

Oh great another Rangers player who just gets back from injury to make the Scotland squad, just for us to get one maybe 2 games out of him and then he's injured again until the next round of Scotland games!!!

Greg Cameron

A massive NO to Russell Martin

Neal

Russell Martin are you takin' the piss!! Would'nae take 'm in a lucky bag!

Craig McWhinnie

Comparing English championship with SPFL doesn’t really hold up in my opinion, I’d imagine most if not all of the Championship are more attacking than the other 10 league teams we face outwith Celtic

Douglas Innes

They do , Portsmouth Vs leeds at weekend was a great example of an unfancied team over turning the league leaders

David Conway

Don’t want Russell Martin anywhere near us, it was bad enough having the unfortunate pleasure of watching him play in the blue jersey….has to be up there as 1 of the worst ever players I’ve seen play for us. I couldn’t bare to have him back in any capacity…..

Graeme McLeod

Not remotely arsed if Cerny's agent is trying to engineer a move elsewhere. This has been one of the worst Rangers sides domestically we've seen in a long time. I'll be glad to see the back of any all of them.

Chris Fletcher

The only benefit of Russel Martin being the next Rangers manager would be seeing Lucy Pinder at Ibrox.

Jim Milne

Could always hire Jardel on a short term coaching role so we get to see his Mrs. In the main stand again.

Chris Fletcher

Local club is Uddingston supports bus mate. We still have the Karen Jardel loyal shield 😂

Jim Milne

I feel sorry for Kemar Roofe on a human level. His mental health must take as much if a beating as his physical injuries do. Needs to find a career after playing, and quickly.

Ronald Fraser

Anyone who thinks Russel Martin is the answer should be chased from our club !!!

Colin Mathie

Do we seriously think our new owners will want a nobody manager like Russell Martin, no chance!

David Innes

Russel Martin would be too big a gamble - if the new owners are serious about delivering success then we need someone who has a proven track record of managing a big club with similar demands.

Ryan Stewart

Don’t think Russell Martin would be the right fit for us but I did find a lot of what he talked about quite interesting. Thought he was absolutely spot on when he talked about the coverage of promoted teams and managers. When teams like Southampton and Burnley get relegated all of the focus is on their style of play and why they should change to be “harder to beat” When teams like Sheffield Utd, Luton and Leicester (assuming they go down) who have a more pragmatic style get relegated the focus is on how they don’t have good enough players, lower budget, not about how they should play a different way

Jack Hutchinson

Russell Martin feels like a manager version of Rabbi Matondo. Early promise > big move > flop > sign for Rangers > flog again

Jim Milne

I meant more for the sake of getting on with his life. He needs to move on because his body isn't capable of being a footballer.

Brian Rae

Absolutely no chance should we be looking at Russell Martin and I'm glad you mentioned Mark Warburton as RM is another who wants to do plan A better and that's it. Pragmatism is the buzz word right now and it's became abundantly clear this season that we need someone who is tactically flexible and not stuck on one philosophy.

KAD87

No flagship this week?

8luenose1872

Still waiting on the flagship 😂🤣😂. Noticed u replied to another comment saying there wasn't one.
