Have to agree with David astonishingly Lennon really is extremely reasonable on punditry duty. He obviously wants Celtic to do well but he seems to have no qualms talking up opposition tactics and general play.

That was a proper Rangers Old firm performance. Do I believe Ferguson is a top level manager that would succeed wherever he goes? No I don't. Do I believe that Ferguson understands what it takes to win at Rangers and if given the money would be capable of building a title winning Rangers team? Yeah I kinda do tbh.

The best thing for me is that all their fans just assumed they would win by 3 or 4 and we just completely flipped the script. Ok they’re going to win the league but if we can win again at Ibrox (and I think we will) then 3/4 old firm defeats will certainly take a bit of the shine off of it

A wonderful day. Another marker laid to them that once we get consistency then we know how to handle these games. Raskin, Tav, Souttar and Diomande were all very very good. A quiet game for the ref, no moans they can have but again this fouls to cards ratio continue to show favourable treatment to them. 10 fouls 0 cards for them. 13 fouls 3 for us. Well done Barry.

I don't know what is going to happen when the takeover is complete. I didn't think Ferguson was anyway near what We need , however he has shown with his staff a team that looks like and feels like Rangers. We were all over those cnuts first half. We battered them in every department. Ferguson and his staff deserve a role at least in the new set up, something I thought I'd never say

In the first game there this season we went out and dominated for thirteen minutes. They scored on their first attack which was given offside and then confidence and belief completely evaporated until we got hosed. Today I think we'd have come back from that set back, we could have handled it. I truly believe Barry has just told the players what's what and what's not with them. A great performance. Incidentally, why do we always seem to go there fucking exhausted? Regardless of when it is, there is always something with us that happens before these games.

I’m warning to this management team in the long term. Scottish football isn’t complicated, it just needs an understanding of what it’s about. I worry another manager- no matter the reputation will have to learn the Scottish game. Barry’s lifted the standard and got the team looking better equipped for Scottish games!

Just listened guys. Great wee listen to keep the good mood going! Couple of things for me, 1. Great result, great fight, great adaptability by the manager and great heart and fitness shown by the team. 2. I know Jefte was left out for personal reasons but think it was a blessing in disguise as Ridvan was excellent and it should be his shirt to lose. Jefte has potential but has cost us a few big goals this year. 3. I think Barry should get the job longer term. He absolutely knows what it takes to beat them (just proven), if we beat them we win the league. He is also a figurehead, ex-Captain, multiple trophy winner and at a young age was the captain of Amo, De Boer, Ricksen, Numan, Craig Moore etc. For me he has the minerals we require in the hot seat. we IMO need a British manager and someone who is not just a coach but a figurehead. What is the harm in giving him and his team a years contract? I don't see any, at the very least it steadies the ship until the new owners get their feet under the table.
