Turgeman is class. One of the players I’ve been following on Transfermarkt

Stewart Robertson

Where's Andy Barnett ? - We need an insider's opinion on this boy.

James

Gerrard? Really? I mean I wouldn’t be against it I suppose but I wouldn’t say he is the obvious choice. A section of our fans wanted him gone before he was saved by the bell. Of course I am so grateful for 55 and he definitely should be considered but he shouldn’t be considered a shoe-in. Do we bring back Beale too?!?

drgriffen

Would be disappointed if Gerrard was the next manager. We need to stop looking back, how many former players have fans craved for, and start looking and moving forward.

Craig McWhinnie

Tbh I’d rather Barry got it than Gerrard coming back, I’m not saying am sold on Barry just yet but right now Barry before Gerrard

Tamus

Please not Gerrard

JimGLW

Intro too short

Steve Clark

If it’s a choice between Gerrard coming back or Barry keeping the job.i would stick with Barry I don’t want Gerrard back.he’s hardly been a roaring success since he abandoned us to go to Villa

Jock Paterson

Gerrard is more suited to sporting director than manager, for me. Mainly because he’s not a superb football manger.

KMS

Gerrard would ultimately mean....Beale returning, he's been with him at every managerial stop

Andy Barnett

Here you go Stewart: Turgeman is one of Israel’s best young players, came through the Maccabi youth academy and has been a standout performer when I’ve watched him. Two-footed, very quick close control and a brilliant finisher, can run into the channels but is best through the middle playing off the shoulder. His goal return is more than healthy and he gets bums off seats. Kind of in the Benzema-mould of player. Israeli players can struggle abroad and a lot come back after 1-2 years and don’t really settle, however the best exports have been in Scotland unfortunately with the other mob. At £5M + % sell-on, it’s a no brainer. He’ll light up the Scottish league and be a fan favourite. A lot of interest in his signature though.

Andy Barnett

The only manager since Walter to win the league for Rangers. Built the culture of European success and making ibrox a fortress, improved most players he worked with - a lot of this has been forgotten about It seems.

Stewart Robertson

Cheers Andy. Amazing. We missed out on Oscar Gloukh. Hopefully we bag this lad. He sounds the business.

Stewart Campbell

A lot of negatives as well though. Failure in the cups over his time, only making 1 final. Complete failure at Villa and his replacement had flourished.

Andy Barnett

100% mate. I’m obviously biased and desperate for us to have an Israeli player and buck the trend of them playing for the other lot - although I doubt that’ll happen again for the foreseeable. But Turgeman is genuinely the real deal. We’ll triple our investment on him within 2 seasons.

Andy Barnett

For sure it took time, and the cup failures cannot be overlooked. But I couldn’t give a monkeys what he has done since leaving. Let’s be honest - none of us wanted him to go back in 2021.

Gordon Campbell

The Rafa Benitez chat seems to have gone quiet. Not saying I’d prefer him but I thought that, if he was in the frame, we’d still be hearing lots of chat

Stewart Robertson

A lot of negativity towards Gerrard here. I’d welcome him back. Born winner.

Corpse Reviver

Swallowing issue for Colin from 14 mins 30 seconds onwards was a hard listen. Please reach out to the Corpse if you need revived.

Colin Mathie

I don't want Gerrard anywhere near the club again, his managerial record is awful, plus hes been dumped from his last 2 jobs, so what does that tell you, its a no from me.

RM

I actually thought it was time for him to go. All the talk about wanting to be closer to home was very wearing and made it seem he wanted out. However, I'm not forgetting the league win and the base he laid for the most consistent run of European performances I've seen from a Rangers team.

AGS

Ferguson, McAnn, McGregor should be our constant backroom team

AGS

Forgot Dodds

Vanb bryceter

He also wouldn't sell our sellable assets when they were attracting decent bids. He has done nada since leaving us and the way he did it kinda makes me think he was a bit snide.
