Extra returns as Cammy is joined by Colin on the late shift to discuss a fantastic result against the odds as Rangers are still very much involved in the Europa League following a heroic performance against Bilbao at Ibrox, and look forward to this weekends visit to Pittodrie.

Igamane might be better at holding the ball up. But he can't get in behind; Dessers can. Dessers being on the park means their defence has to stay alert , sit a bit deeper, prevents us being completely hemmed in and creates more space between their defence and midfield where we can find others.

This is what this team gives us. There are no differences between them under Ferguson and Clement. They have no issue playing away from home, and seem more comfortable in that situation now, because they learned to play that system away in Europe over half a season. They suddenly have stage fright at Ibrox and have struggled there on most occasions when they need to break down teams and dominate the ball. When they are playing counter attack then they are better, but we seldom play that way in Scotland, and only away do we get a bit more space to play that way. I think we’ll be okay at Pittodrie, and we’ll be okay in Spain. Whether we will do enough to win them is another question. What we know is that this team aren;t going to change right now. With more proper coaching we could’ve seen steady progress, but I’m not sure we have that situation at the club now. The only progressive coach is Issame Charai. That might not be enough to improve them this season, but we’ll see what happens I suppose. Whatever that may be, we need to make sure the next manager is the right one,, and he needs to be of a certain stature. I see Real Madrid may be out of Europe soon, so maybe Ancelotti will be available come the summer.
