Good pod lads, can’t agree with Steven’s argument around McCausland. The question wasn’t, was he to blame for Sunday, the question was, should that be his last game. The answer is simple, yes. He has never had nor will he ever have the qualities to play for Rangers. He just isn’t good enough. I understand the argument around Danilo, Cortes, Bajrami and Propper, they are also not showing the quality we need and 3 of them plus McCausland should go in the summer. Unfortunately we are hamstrung with the Cortes deal. On a positive note, let’s do it on Thursday, come on the Teds!!

Bilbao will come at us hard a fast right from the get go as they'll want to try get an early 1 or 2 goal advantage inside the first 15 mins. Now, the longer that goes on without them scoring then pressure mounts. They'll be in control of the game for the whole game which'll kinda play into Rangers hands a bit because Statically, Rangers are the 2nd top ranked Counter Attacking Team in the Competition. Obviously, I'd prefer us not to have our backs against the wall but this is how it'll play out

You cannot right off Danilo and Cortes, particularly Cortes. He’s going nowhere. That would be reckless. I really don’t know what people expect from players who get brought in out the cold, in a mad formation, team that’s never played together and suddenly expected to put on a vintage performance. My biggest gripe with Sunday was the attitude of the apparent Rangers man who got himself sent off. Also, grown men singing about a young lad and asking him when he’s going to die needs called out. They go back to their families, jobs etc on a Monday after behaving like that at a football is a disgrace. Animals

Nobody is making McAusland a scapegoat for the result. To blame others for his ridiculous decision to make that challenge is just stupid. ‘Because he’s one of us’ doesn’t wash. He’s more than experienced enough to know he shouldn’t be making that challenge.
