Personally, I’d prefer a change in direction with the kit deal, but the money they are getting must be good. Put it this way, it better be because we are worthy of a bigger deal for the units we shift. I just feel that when we have a big sponsor like Nike or Adidas our revenues in retail go through the roof. I haven’t been able to buy adidas trainers since they started making kit for that lot, and I’m not sure Mike operate up here anymore. So, it’s a bit odd but Umbro isn;t the worst we could’ve got, but they aren’t a streetwear brand . I just think it limits our stock a lot in what can be sold in the store, and targets we can reach in revenues from retail. I think people have the wrong idea about Koppen, because apart from Bajrami his signings are all big assts at the club. Those he signed are worth something in the market. He did the job with the budget he was given. If people have complaints about the squad we have then take it up with those who failed to provide a proper budget to do the rebuilding job needed. They did try to sing one or two experienced players, but were turned down, and you can’t just sign older players to make up the numbers. You need to target specific roles they will play for a set length of time, and not pay a lot of money for them.

I could be wrong but is our retail offering not essentially a castore one, with us getting licensing fee for products. Therefore we don’t have a retail offering where we sell other products, it’s all rangers branded stuff with license payment per hoodie etc.
