Used to be a winger wouldn't cut inside as he'd be going into an area where players were. Going down the line and crossing is still something I like to see if I'm honest. I totally get that it's seen as giving possession away the majority of the time though. Would be nice to see the odd occasion where traditional sided wingers were used. Who knows that's maybe the next breakthrough in tactical thinking.
