I have a massive hunch that Davide Ancelotti is our next manager, everybody thought that it would be announced this week but nothing and I think Gerrard would at least be in the UK if he was returning and Real Madrid last game of the season is this Saturday. I'd say Ancelotti will be announced Tuesday.

The young keeper isn’t going to play for our first team anytime soon, so sell him and make money from him. He’s on a pro contract, so he demands a fee. Put a sell on clause in the deal and that’s the end of it. Raskin will go, because he harbours ambitions to play in England or one of the other top 5 leagues. With regards to the frustration of these clubs coming in for our youth players, the clubs up here should be lobbying the British government to put in place rules governing British transfers if it means that much to them, but the truth is that we also benefit from the rules as well. We’ve taken young players from England with the current rules in place. Dujon Sterling was a graduate from the Chelsea Academyand we got him for nothing, so it does go both ways. It has to be said that they all don’t decide to leave. Nathan Patterson stayed on and got his move anyway. We benefitted from his time in the first team squad, he then moved on and we got a big bag of cash for him, which was all profit. It just depends on how we deal with the contracts. If they get spotted earlier than we can get them onto a fast development curve I’m afraid that we lose out, but we have to be better also at spotting these deals as well, and go in for players at other clubs who could benefit from coming to play for us. Nsiala is an example of that. Raskin was pretty young when he arrived here, and he is now probably going to earn us a big pay day. That money will be used for a rebuild, and we need to ensure that we spend it wisely. I do think we have the right team at the club now to do that, so we’ll see what comes to fruition durning the summer window. The. New owners had nothing to do with Issame Charai’s appointment. He was a friend of Clement and joined to help him. He was the one who recommended Igamane to him. I do think the new CEO was on to do with the prospective new owners, and Kevin Thelwell also, but Charai was Clement’s recommendation. He was very highly thought of in Belgium and on the continent, so is a good fit moving forward. He would provide continuity for the players still there, and has showed he can work with any manager who comes in.
