Hopefully such optimistic views are proven correct. Encouraging to hear the initial funding

Finally is all I have to say about it. I was really getting bored hearing about it, and now I’m starting to feel that way about the managerial hunt. I’m fine with them because King vetted them personally. I don’t think he, or John Bennet would’ve sold their shares had they not got the right feelings from their meetings with them. We do need to be vigilant as good practice. We hold them to wha they say and do and question anything we have an issue with, but they do seem to just put out better constructed communications. We can only judge them on what they do in the next few months, which will be focused on the first team, and then on where they prioritise after that. I suspect that the first team needs to remain a priority for the next two years, even if we were to win next seasons title. My guess is that they’ll find a way to develop the infrastructure that wont impinge on the first team funding, and run those as two separate projects. I think that I can see a number of ways they can do this. There is definitely a lot more nerves around the east end of Glasgow tonight, because there now have to deal with people who won’t take any of their crap. I’d expect a lot of shake-ups in how TV deals are handled in future, because these men will not allow someone to sign away their rights for less than top dollar. They can call the next manager whatever they want, the fact is that we will still refer to him as the Rangers manager, and so will everyone else. Head coach is an Americanism, which Europe caught the disease of years ago. It doesn’t really convey what the position means really. We’re not a college football team, we’re an institution. They’ll come to realise that certain conventions is Silicon Valley don’t quite resonate on the west coast of Scotland, but they speak well given it’s their first official statement.
