It does annoy me when people bang on about the excessive spending culture - check each of the ins and outs in 9 and a row. Walter was a canny operator and we never went crazy. Just solid, smart business. But certainly not funded by Murray!

Thanks for wading through all the Murray stuff so I don’t have to Colin! There is nothing any of us want to hear from him. Ever. You’re wrong regarding his other businesses. His major diversification away from metal was commercial property which was totally fooked from 2008 on. The bank took control of his businesses (they don’t need to put your company into admin they just threaten it and put individuals into your company to run it in their interests all with your pained acceptance). When that happened he was depressed and barely functioned. His son had to keep things going Rangers ironically was the company which had been successful in markedly reducing what was due to the bank EBTs were also a Murray Group thing not just Rangers I have a degree of sympathy as the whole Scottish business community was built on RBS & BOS debt with little PE money in Scotland back then. In his head that was just business and he never really took too big a risk. The big bad banking crisis did it and ran away Murray was never duped by Whyte. He sacrificed Rangers to try and save his own skin If he was genuinely sorry he would gift the club a multi million pound sum. He is not and he won’t

Murray didn't "play the game". He gambled, gambled with the very existence of the club, and we're still miles off where we were in 2003. I despise that man and will leave it at that as I'd probably get in a lot of trouble if I said what I really wished for him.

Igamane wasn't very good from February onwards outwith the goal at parkhead. He isn't the type of striker to press with pace with RM wants. Its a no brainer to sell

Jim Milne

He was also stuck out on the left for the majority of games from February onwards to make way for Dessers. I agree we should sell but he didn't have a fair crack the entire time he played IMO.

Dick The Trick

Great song choice. Murray ruined any sort of legacy for himself and we the fans have been left with effects of it for the last 13/14 years.

When David says " when someone writes the definitive history on David Murray " ...... i can't help but feel thats been David Murray this last week
