It's the start of the new season and Hoggy is back (thanks to James for the previous 2 weeks!), still from the heat of Central Florida.

Things are hotting up with Rangers also:

  • Avoiding Greek Tragedy - lots of huff and puff from Pana, were we lucky or did we absorb the pressure and play it well?

  • It's clearly a work in progress, but what else is required?

  • On the eve of the season - hopes, fears, wishes, and what do you expect?

  • And a wee glance back to an opening day game from 34 years ago (yes - it was 34 years!)

Listening to this after the Motherwell game. I do have some sympathy for Souttar in that most of his time at Rangers has been spent playing as a right footed player on the left side of the defence. Even now, he spends half the time being turned because he's on his wrong foot. It's the same as Aaron's, play the players in their proper position and if they aren't good enough replace them. Stop playing players out of position.

If Martin stands by his words and we make some changes to the starting 11 on Tues, I will continue to have patience. 2nd half not remotely good enough at any stage of the process.
