David and Dave go through today's draw with Motherwell as a dreadful 2nd half display costs us two points.

The first half was slow, predictable and a sub-par performance. The second half was worse, when I didn’t think it could get any worse. Djiga can defend but his distribution is too lapse. He gave the ball away several times with loose passes and needs to tighten that up. Only Butland gets pass marks today from that, with Tav getting some credit for scoring. It was a poor day at the office for them all, and some of the new ones aren’t papering over any cracks in this side. It’s weird to say, but we look a lot worse than last season.

I’d love to hear why you think Tavernier can’t be blamed for today?!? It’s staggering to me. Let me be clear he is a legend at the club and should be remembered as that once we finally get rid of him. BUT for their goal alone he made 3 basic errors, he lacks intensity, he lacks desire, he lacks leadership, he is the blame culture that envelops us, he doesn’t track back, he doesn’t close down crosses, he can’t mark his man at the back post, need I go on? To compound it all, his post match press conference was an absolute disgrace! We lacked so many things and because you are a dreadful leader you couldn’t kick people up the arse to get us over the line because you are the problem James Tavernier. I hope when Martin picks his line up for Tuesday that the captain is on the subs bench other wise it’ll be the same tepid performance we seen for a very long time now. This isn’t knee jerk, it’s now Monday, he needs sold before he causes another manager to lose their job. A captain in failure!
