James watched the first leg of the Champions League qualifying tie between Salzburg and Brugge, the winner of this set to face the winner of our tie with Plzen. With Rangers holding a 3-0 lead, we are in a good position to face one of these sides. James goes over his thoughts from the game, what stood out from both teams and whether there is an obviously better option to come up against in a potential play off tie. He also looks at a potentially massive journey for our rivals in the week prior to the first Old Firm of the season.

Watched highlights. Thought that Salzburg were more on top but Brugge must be favourites given the result. That said I would fear neither of them. I’m more positive of going through than I was previously.

Thanks for the insights I didn’t catch the game. Also, it looks like Gers are starting to build a bit of momentum. Hopefully this translates into us winning through to CL phase.
